He may be trying to give the impression that everything is under control and that this just a minor disturbance. Or he may not care. He may know that the Muslim vote in France is now so large that he has nothing to lose, and that the left will stay in power indefinitely. And it very well could, at least until the establishment of the Islamic republic.

Macron and the Leftists love more taxpayer money, more political power, and more government control than they care about the French citizens. Basically, the Leftists seek ultimate power and control and will virtue-signal and deceive to keep their power despite the ongoing Islamization of their countries. Unfortunately, the citizens are suffering as a result. Meanwhile, the Muslims seek to conquer the Non-Muslims.
Muslims are empowered to gain more power and more ultimate for ultimate conquest to make Islam supreme. Allah in Qur’an 8:39 commands, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…” Allah in Qur’an 49:15 teaches, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed JIHAD with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.”
