Louisiana Muslims Were on Medicaid While Sending Money to Terrorists

“More than $224,000 in benefits”

Between late 2023 and early this year, Abdel Adhami allegedly transferred more than $83,000, mostly through PayPal to financial associates of a Gaza-based contact who converted the funds into Tether cryptocurrency. Court records say about $2,000 was sent directly to Gaza through Western Union to a recipient who picked up the cash in October 2023.

His brother, Omar, is accused of sending about $6,000 through similar channels. Authorities say the money was ultimately routed to people associated with Saleem Alzaq, whom investigators describe as the brothers’ alleged handler in Gaza.

For example, on or about October 18, 2023, Adhami, via Snapchat account aadhami56, sent a voice message to Snapchat account “saleem_alzaq” stating the following: “I wish we could come, I wish we could help you, I wish we could do Jihad with you, you are the people of Jihad, you are the people of perseverance, you are who the Prophet, peace and prayer be upon him, has mentioned. Congratulations, congratulations, you are the free ones, not us eh . . . and let me know when you receive the wire transfer. If there is anything we can do, our lives and money and everything are at your service.”

While all this was going on, the Adhamis were on Medicaid despite having their own stores and plenty of money to send to terrorists.

A Slidell man who declined to be identified said he remembers the day federal agents raided their Slidell beauty store last month. The brothers also own a beauty store in Hammond.

Two stores. Terror cash. And hundreds of thousands in Medicaid benefits.

The wives of two Northshore brothers accused of helping funnel money to Hamas have been arrested along with another family member in a separate Medicaid fraud investigation.

The Louisiana Attorney General’s Office accuse the five of defrauding the Louisiana Medicaid program of more than $224,000 in benefits between 2021 and 2025.

Abdel Adhami, 35, and his wife, H.D. Srour, 29, received $113,344 in Medicaid benefits, according to the AG’s Office. They each face five counts of government benefits fraud and one count of theft of more than $25,000.

Omar Adhami, 33, and his wife, Abu Zenah, 28, received $81,099 in Medicaid benefits. They each face three counts of government benefits fraud and one count of theft of more than $25,000.

Their brother, Mohammad I. Adhami, 32, received $30,197 in Medicaid benefits. He faces three counts of government benefits fraud and one count of theft of more than $25,000.

UK Muslims called this sort of thing claiming the “Jihadseekers Allowance”.

On Sunday, the Sun in Britain published footage of controversial Muslim preacher Anjem Choudary urging his followers to claim their “jihad seeker’s allowance” by going on government benefits. He ridiculed average British citizens who ”work for eight, nine hours a day. They come home at 7 o’clock, watch EastEnders, sleep, and they do that for 40 years of their life. That is called slavery.” He compared that to revered Islamic figures who only worked “one or two days a year” and spent the rest of their time engaged in jihad.

According the Sun, Choudary received “£15,600 a year in housing benefit to keep him in a £320,000 house in Leytonstone, East London . . . £1,820 council tax allowance, £5,200 income support and £3,120 child benefits — equivalent to a taxed salary of £32,500.”

Not much has changed in the UK where Jihadists keep getting free houses.

With the help of the council, Qatada moved into a home in Wembley, North London, last month where his family were reportedly paying £1,900 a month in rent, funded through benefits.

Speaking from his home in Jordan, Qatada’s brother, Ibrahim Othman, told the Daily Mail: “He told us they have now given him a very nice new place, bigger than the first house he went to after the British let him go.
“He is really enjoying his new home and so are his family. The inside is very modern and has been done up more nicely, it has more bedrooms and a larger garden.

“My brother cannot work so the British government fund his family to live there. The new house is costing more but he does not have to pay it because there is no way he can earn money.”

“Right now he is the happiest man in England.”

At least here in America, we’re starting to bust these murderous terrorist parasites.
