What Shin Bet is embarking on is essential. One must be well informed about an enemy if there is to be any hope of defeating it. Jihad Watch has been dedicated to the knowedge of Islamic ideology for decades. This particular enemy is committed to its cause so completely that “martrydom” is its highest calling.
While the Western mind tends to be more secular, committed Muslims generally are not. The Sharia is vitally important to every aspect of a Muslim’s ethos. So while it may come as a surprise to Westerners how infiltrated with Hamas operatives that UNRWA was, it is not at all surprising to those who understand Islam and its all-encompassing structure. As such, from simple Friday prayer to jihad and anything in between, it is covered under the Sharia. Not every Muslim wages jihad by the sword, which confuses people, when it should not. No one was confused when separating ordinary Germans from Hitler’s Nazi machine and the Third Reich, although, of course, sometimes individual cases were not so clear.
“Let those who sell the life of this world for the next fight in the way of Allah. Whoever fights in the way of Allah, whether he is killed or victorious, on him we will bestow a great reward.” (Quran 4:74)

During the battle of Uhud, Muhammad was desperate to push men into battle. He promised paradise for those who would martyr themselves, prompting a young man who was eating dates to throw them away and rush to his death. (Sahih Muslim 20:4678)
A man asks Muhammad “which of men is the best?” Muhammad replies that it is the man who is always ready for battle and flies into it “seeking death at places where it can be expected.” (Sahih Muslim 20:4655)
Islam is also highly effective in stealth realms, it manipulates propaganda and twists Western kindness and its vulnerabilities as well as weaknesses.
Let’s hope the efforts of Shin Bet succeeds and spreads — not only throughout Israel, where leftists are also a destructive force in the country — but also throughout the West.

The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) is preparing to establish a new Islamic studies program as part of an initiative led by agency chief David Zini to address intelligence failures exposed by investigations into the October 7 massacre, particularly the failure to understand Hamas’s ideology and religious extremism.
The new program will operate alongside the Shin Bet’s long-established Arabic language institute, which provides language training for personnel across various positions within the organization. The institute is considered to maintain exceptionally high professional standards and periodically also trains IDF personnel.
Zini’s initiative will bring together lecturers, subject-matter experts, and senior current and former officials to provide comprehensive instruction on Islam.
He has also decided that the program will incorporate research into Islam, with curricula tailored to the Shin Bet’s operational challenges across different arenas. The goal is to strengthen and deepen understanding of the religion and its various interpretations among personnel working in different professional fields.

Coughlin and Spencer were purged by Obama in 2011. Both taught the true nature of Islam and for that reason were ousted.
