In the Qur’an, a mysterious figure, known as Khidr in Islamic tradition, kills a boy in an apparently random and gratuitous attack. He then explains: “And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief. So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.” (18:80-81)
And according to Islamic law, “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (Reliance of the Traveller o1.1-2).
Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but “the new law says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of passion or honour ‘provided he serves a prison term of no less than two years in the case of killing.’” And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.”

“Iranian women killed by relatives after seeking divorce or refusing marriage,” by Hooman Abedi, Iran International, October 21, 2026:
Asking for a divorce, refusing a marriage, speaking to a man she did not know: in Iran, each has preceded the killing of a woman or girl by her own family, according to a Shargh daily investigation that counted at least 38 dead in two months.
The Shargh daily documented at least 38 women and children killed in 28 cases over a two-month period from late August to late October in an investigation published Wednesday. Thirteen of the victims were under 18.
In most cases, the perpetrators were men close to the victims, including husbands, fathers, brothers and other relatives. Some women were killed after seeking separation, while girls were murdered after resisting decisions imposed on them by their families.
Femicide is not confined to disadvantaged areas, less educated households or traditional communities, Pegah Banihashemi, a senior legal researcher at the University of Chicago, told Iran International.
Banihashemi pointed to cases involving educated couples and professional households, saying educational achievement alone does not necessarily eliminate attitudes that treat women as subject to male authority.
Figures compiled by rights organizations indicate the wider scale of the violence. The Norway-based rights group Hengaw documented at least 207 femicides in Iran in 2025 and another 45 during the first six months of 2026.
When personal choices become grounds for killing
One of the cases examined by Shargh involved a 16-year-old girl in the western Iranian city of Kermanshah whose father shot her dead while she slept.
The girl had resisted a forced marriage and had previously been prevented by her family from continuing her education beyond the fourth grade.
In another case, a man strangled his 70-year-old wife after she spoke to an unfamiliar man. A 26-year-old woman was killed by her 50-year-old husband over what was described as her failure to carry out household duties.
In a Tehran neighborhood, a woman who had requested a divorce died in a deliberately set house fire.
Two women were beheaded by their husbands in separate cases in Mashhad and Isfahan. In the Mashhad case, two young children were also killed before the perpetrator died by suicide.
Shargh found that four killings followed requests for divorce or separation, while five cases involved previous disputes or domestic violence….

Why don’t more (so-called) feminists in the West openly criticise Islam for the honour killings of women and girls done by Muslims in the name of Islam?
Is it due to the fact the feminists are typically Leftists, and because the Left in an alliance of convenience with Islam, the feminists perceive they can’t openly criticise their alliance partners?

Yes, you have accurately answered your own question.

Wait until a Muzzie kills his wife or daughter in the U.S. and then contends that it is allowed under Islam, and a screwball leftest judge agrees and dismisses the case, or sentences the Muzzie to time served.
Some say as long as they keep it in the family, it is OK. But, these Muzzie killers of their own ilk will get the idea that a jihad killing of the infidels is also protected by his religion.

The “let’s murder everyone and everything” crowd (I.e. Muslims) follow a truly malicious and evil cartel (it doesn’t deserve to be called a religion)
Rob Porter says
The amazing thing about Muslims is their blindness to the ugliness of their ‘religious’ beliefs. It is truly a sickness not to see injustice in the murdering of a woman who seeks to divorce, hatred and intolerance of others who don’t share their so-called ‘spiritual beliefs’, and a system so unjustly loaded in favour of males. Their supposed ‘spiritual’ pursuits is beyond warped.
Tolerating Muslims within Western countries is insane. Their goal is to defeat Western peoples and take over under the disgusting injustice that is satanic sharia, while Westerners tolerate their threats of taking over, an imam boasting of there being 4,000 mosques in the United States and how soon there will be so many Muslim lawyers, so many Muslim political scientists, etc, the goal, a system through which they defeat us while our leaders behave like E.U. imbecile Ursula von den Leyen who informed an German politician that Muslims migrants “come to Germany for love”. No, they don’t, they come to Germany, France, Belgium, Canada, Australia for ‘free stuff” and to rape non-Muslim females.

Islamic treatment of women… In hadith its written that hell is full of women. A sadistic thing of islam is that its strong beliefs and scary threats of an eternal hell, a torture place, for people for the ‘crime’ of not believing in these injustice promoting package of hatred. The concept of a hell also appears in some other religions too but the islamic one is the most terrible and inequal one.
