Indiana Democrat candidate admits to drinking before bizarre public anti-Republican rant

Jaime West is running for a seat on the Fayette County Council in Indiana, and now her notoriety has extended  beyond the borders of her own small jurisdiction, as she has beclowned herself not once, but twice. After her cringeworthy appearance at the Fayette County Candidate Forum, Piers Morgan decided to invite her on his show, because her bizarre television performance went viral and generated massive public attention. “Dem candidate’s bizarre anti-MAGA tirade ends with ‘We have guns too,'” by Charles Creitz, Fox News, October 13, 2026:

A Democrat running for county council in eastern Indiana was ridiculed Tuesday after critics claimed she appeared “s— faced” and slurred her way through attacks on Republicans during a televised candidate forum.

During the forum, Fayette County Council candidate Jaime West said she would “fire all Republicans” if elected, railed against “MAGAs” she called “racist” and unintelligent and alleged that a sheriff’s nephew had threatened to kill her. Asked for a final message to voters, West responded: “We have guns too.”

“This is not a skit,” said LibsOfTikTok, a popular conservative punditry account run by commentator Chaya Raichik.

“Jaime West, a Democrat running for Fayette County Council in Indiana, gave an embarrassing interview where she appears to mumble and rant the entire time. Is she intoxicated?” Raichik asked on X…..

Morgan’s friendly and flippant responses to her while the other guest, conservative commentator Ben Ferguson, smirked, simply encouraged her to talk more. And more. A level of tolerance across society for leftist madness encourages them. West’s demeanor, as well as her verbalized hatred for Republicans, should’ve been jaw-dropping, not amusing.

Who vetted this nut? Will her viral appearances boost her candidacy, or tank her chances of winning? That remains to be seen, but there is the frightful possibility of the former.

We may have just witnessed the most unhinged Democratic candidate yet. Indiana Democrat Jamie West was asked what she would do to make her community better. Her answer? Fire ALL Republicans. Then she tried to flex by saying “we have guns, too” as she stared down the audience. WHAT?!

Maybe she’s just hammered. But between this and the revelation that America’s largest banks WERE shutting out conservatives while Biden’s special counsel was putting MAGA supporters on lists, it’s not hard to see a dangerous trend.

This is Jaime West (Democratic Party) – she’s running for election for Fayette County Council, District 4 in Indiana.

I had to make sure she did not have a neurological disorder that could account for the slurred speech and insane rambling.

She doesn’t.

And even if she did have a diagnosed neurological disorder, “we have guns too!” after talking about firing all Republicans would ordinarily be disqualifying.
