Holly Passmore is an Englishwoman, not Jewish, but keenly interested in the Jewish people. And she supports Israel. Of course, such a view — so suspect in present-day Britain — led the police to pay her a visit to see what this dangerous woman was up to. More on her ordeal can be found here: “Mother referred to Prevent for ‘over-identifying with Israel,’” by Janet Eastham, Telegraph,
When Holly Passmore heard a knock at her front door at about 11am on July 4 last year, she assumed it was an Amazon delivery.
Instead, the 44-year-old mother-of-two from County Durham found two plain-clothes police officers on her doorstep wanting to know why she had recently visited Israel.
Of course. Why would any non-Jewish person want to visit Israel unless they were dangerously supportive of the Jewish state? And what brainwashing by those diabolical Israelis might she have been subject to while there? This naturally called for a police interrogation.

“They said it was a safeguarding matter,” recalled Ms Passmore, who cares for her nine-year-old son, Rex, who has severe autism, while studying for a master’s degree.
She assumed they were concerned she had taken her son into a war zone.
I said, ‘Well, my son didn’t go to Israel. He stayed here with my mum and my daughter, who’s 20’,” she recalled. But the female officer replied: “No this is about you – because you may be at risk of manipulation.”…
At “risk of manipulation”? By whom? Oh, that’s obvious: manipulation by sinister Israelis, determined to make Holly Passmore even more supportive of Israel than she already was. Why, they might have taken her to the places that Hamas had attacked on October 7, 2023, in a sinister attempt to win even greater sympathy for Israel. The police needed to debrief her, to find out just why she had made the trip to Israel, and what happened on that trip that might have brainwashed her to be even more dangerously pro-Israel than she already is.
A police intelligence report seen by The Telegraph reveals that the referral said she “over-identified with the conflict between Israel and Palestine” and was “supportive of Israel to the point that she has travelled to Israel.”
So supportive of Israel was she that she even — horrribile dictu — visited Israel, and even went to Kfar Aza, one of the kibbutzim where Hamas committed atrocities on October 7, 2023. That might make her even more sympathetic to Israel, and then she would communicate her feelings to her 28,000 followers online. And that was deeply worrisome to whoever alerted the police in Country Durham to investigate.
It also described her as having “MH” – meaning mental health – issues and being “vulnerable to negative influence.”…
What mental health issues did Passmore have? None, of course. She was raising two children, one of them autistic, on her own, while continuing her studies for a doctoral degree long-distance at the University of Haifa. Few people could manage as well as she has.
The police intelligence report Ms Passmore obtained under data protection laws acknowledged that there “is no CT [counter-terror] concern with an individual being supportive of Israel as a democracy and it would not be a CT concern for a person to travel there.”…
But why did the police investigate her in the first place? For visiting Israel? For expressing her support online for the Jewish state? Is that now a suspect act? What exactly triggered the police coming to her door and questioning her? Let’s take a wild guess: the person who reported her to Prevent was either a Muslim or a left-wing supporter of Hamas, hoping to make trouble for Holly Passmore. But why did the police so promptly take the bait? Surely the police have better things to do, like investigating the Pakistani grooming gangs that have so far ruined the lives of a quarter-million British girls.
“They asked me why I was interested in ‘Jewish issues’, because County Durham is not a Jewish area,” she added. “They even asked me if I’d ever been to Auschwitz, and I said, ‘Yes’….
In the U.K., visiting Auschwitz is apparently a telltale sign of too much interest in, and sympathy for, the Jewish people, and for the police in Britain today, those who visit such a place need to be investigated. That’s how bad things have become.
Ms Passmore’s concerns deepened last week when, eight days after she returned from Israel, she discovered that her NHS records had classified her as a “vulnerable adult.”…
“Vulnerable” to what? Presumably, to the propaganda being fed her by those clever Jews in Israel. For why else would anybody support Israel?
The force has previously said: “Each Prevent referral is reviewed to determine whether further action is required including, where appropriate, assessment to determine if there is an immediate security threat, or whether a vulnerable person is at genuine risk of radicalisation.”
The police in County Durham were alerted by a referral from Prevent that Holly Passmore was a possible security risk. And the evidence for that? She supported Israel. She admitted as much online to her 28,000 followers. She even visited the Jewish state, and while there had visited Kfar Aza, one of the kibbutzim that Hamas had attacked. And more worrisome still, she had visited Auschwitz, that would undoubtedly have confirmed her in her philosemitic sympathies. No wonder the police came a-calling. This woman needed to be investigated. But had she attended demonstrations in favor of Hamas, and waved a Palestinian flag, and screamed “globalize the Intifada,” nothing would have happened to her. And that sums up the unbelievable state of affairs in Britain today.
