To be celebrated by a jihad group that is no different from ISIS is a commentary in itself.
The United Nations website states:
The Norwegian Nobel Committee recognized her lifelong commitment to human rights, her contributions to international justice and her role in advancing accountability for war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.
Pillay has repeatedly accused Israel of war crimes and genocide in Gaza, without calling out Hamas for its use of human shields. As chair of the UN Commission of Inquiry on the so-called “Occupied Palestinian Territory,” she released a landmark report which accused Israel of being responsible for the commission of genocide in Gaza. She also absurdly pushed the envelope by claiming that Israeli forces possessed a specific genocidal intent to destroy the Palestinians in the region. She then justified her conclusions, stating: “We just have this condemnation by the state of Israel because they are the ones that we have held responsible.” But what about accountability of Hamas that left Israel with no choice but to defend itself?
Since when is the Nobel Peace Prize about a jihadist agenda? The answer lies in the fact that Hamas has celebrated the Prize being given to Navi Pillay. It is a stain on both her and the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

The Hamas terrorist organization, which carried out the Oct. 7 massacre, is celebrating the winner of the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.
The group welcomed the decision to honor South African jurist Navi Pillay, praising her record of accusing Israel of grave crimes and calling the award an “important step” toward international action against the Jewish state.
The extraordinary spectacle of Hamas applauding a prize dedicated to peace drew a scathing response from Israel’s Foreign Ministry.
“When a jihadist terrorist organization like Hamas applauds a Nobel Peace Prize, the moral judgment of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee is rightly called into question,” the ministry said.
“Hamas murdered, raped, and kidnapped civilians on October 7. Now, the perpetrators of that massacre are celebrating Navi Pillay, whose career has been marked by repeated antisemitic rhetoric and relentless hostility toward Israel.”
“This isn’t just a disgrace. It’s a moral failure,” the ministry concluded.
In its statement congratulating Pillay, Hamas specifically praised her work as chair of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Israel and the Palestinian territories.
The terrorist group hailed the commission’s conclusion that Israel had committed genocide in Gaza and said Pillay’s Nobel Prize represented “serious international recognition” of what it described as Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people….

This isn’t the first time (and surely won’t be the last) that the Nobel Peace Price has been awarded to people who have contributed nothing to preserve World Peace (think of Jimmy Carter, Barak Obama, Yasser Arafat or Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, to mentally but a few of them)
