United Airlines has just now relieved of his duties as pilot Ibraham Mossalam, a Muslim who has repeatedly expressed support on social media posts for the atrocities carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023. This is the second time he’s been removed; in November 2023, Mossallam was suspended, with pay, for six months after his first series of pro-Hamas posts came to the attention of United’s management. More on Ibrahim Mossallam’s latest suspension can be found here: “United grounds pilot who praised October 7 massacre after reports of reinstatement – report,” Jerusalem Post, October 10, 2026:
United Airlines has once again removed Capt. Ibrahim R. Mossallam from service following earlier social media posts expressing support for Hamas’s October 7 massacre, The Daily Wire reported Wednesday.
An airline spokesperson confirmed to The Daily Wire on Tuesday that “the pilot” has been “withheld from service pending an ongoing review.”
Mossallam was initially suspended with pay in November 2023. However, an Israeli media report published Monday revealed that the airline had quietly allowed him to return to his duties just six months later.
According to The Daily Wire, United Airlines did not confirm whether Mossallam had resumed flying after the company launched its initial investigation in late 2023.
Israeli media reports also claimed that senior United Airlines executives had wanted to fire Mossallam at the time, but the pilots’ union intervened to prevent his dismissal, and he subsequently returned to flying. flying.

The pilots’ union that back in 2023 urged senior executives not to fire Mossallam are now urging that he be fired. What happened? Well, Flydubai flight 1073 happened, a case of a fanatical Muslim co-pilot who tried to hijack the plane in order to crash it into Ben-Gurion Airport; he was stopped through the efforts of the pilot, who managed to open a locked cockpit door, and four heroic Israeli passengers who managed to subdue and tie him up. The “suicidal Muslim pilot” reminded many people of another Muslim pilot, Gamil al-Batouti, a first officer who took over the controls of EgyptAir flight 990 when the pilot had gone to the bathroom, and deliberately crashed it, with 216 passengers and crew aboard. Investigators learned from another EgyptAir pilot that Al-Batouti was supposedly reprimanded for repeated inappropriate behavior with female guests at the Hotel Pennsylvania, a New York City hotel that EgyptAir crews often used. Hatem Roushdy, the EgyptAir official said to be responsible for the alleged reprimand, was a passenger on Flight 990. Investigators confirmed that shortly before the flight, Roushdy revoked Al-Batouti’s privilege of flying to the United States and informed him that Flight 990 would be his last on the route.
A pilot for Royal Maroc, Captain Younes Khayati, according to investigators deliberately disconnected the autopilot on the plane he was flying, and directed the plane into a fatal dive due to a personal desire to commit suicide. The crash resulted in the deaths of all 44 people on board.
Another Muslim pilot who did not deliberately crash his plane, but seized up and did nothing to prevent a crash was Captain Chafik Gharby who was at the controls of a plane belonging to the Tunisian charter airline Tuninter when it began to head downward; instead of doing anything to steady the plane Gharby, in a state of paralysis, began to pray to Allah; as a Muslim fatalist he knew that he should put his trust in God. The plane crashed in the sea off the coast of Sicily four years ago. The 23 survivors were left swimming for their lives, some clinging to a piece of the fuselage that stayed afloat after the turbo-prop aircraft broke up on impact. Captain Gharby was sentenced by an Italian court to ten years in prison.
Still other Muslim pilots who deliberately crashed their planes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon buildings, that they would die, were Mohamed Atta, Marwan al-Shehhi, and Hani Hanour. Ziad Jarrah hijacked a fourth plane, but passengers took over the plane — which was likely headed to the Capitol — and it crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
And the latest incident involving a Muslim pilot trying to crash a plane took place on September 30. The co-pilot of Flydubai flight 1073 was an Omani, Hamam al-Hamami, who tried to crash the plane with 174 Israeli passengers aboard but was prevented by a heroic Indian pilot who managed to unlock the cockpit door, and then was subdued by four heroic Israeli passengers. The plane was safely landed by a pilot who was among the passengers.
But let’s return to Mossallam, the pilot whose fitness for flying United Airlines is now deciding. The pilots for United Airlines, who objected to his suspension in 2023, now want him fired. The cabin crews want him fired. Quite understandably, “the employees don’t want him to ever come back here.” Were their desires not met, were their fears not addressed, and Mossallam were in the end still be allowed to fly United Airlines planes, just imagine the effect on morale. Why should the pilots and cabin crews be asked to tolerate such a situation?
And what about the effect on potential passengers? If Mossallam is not fired, but kept on, that news will spread throughout the internet. How many people will decide not to fly the formerly friendly skies of United Airlines if there is the slightest chance that they may be on a plane that Ibrahim Mossallam is piloting?
And it’s not just Mossallam who is worrisome. How many of you would have no objection to taking a plane with a Muslim pilot, given what you now know about Islam?

Count me out of this airline

No airline with a pilot who refuses to denounce the Qur’an, should be allowed into a Western country.
That includes Emirates, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways.

Kind of guys like these can do 9/11 style attacks on any major metropolitan area across US or Israel. What did United not learn from Fly Dubai incident?

Or from 9/11 itself, when 2 of their planes were used in the attacks

This is everyday life with Islam and its Muslims, a Criminal-Terrorist-Gang Enterprise, with Muslim discrimination, segregation, violence, and terrorism against Non-Muslims as taught in Islamic Law and in Islam’s Qur’an(Qur’an 9:5, 29, 41, 111; 49:15, etc.). No Public Funding for Islam and its Muslim Organizations(Qur’an 1:5; 3:51, 101, 118; 5:3, 44-48; 8:60, 45:18; 48:29, etc.)! Allah in Qur’an 8:39 commands, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”
Public Funding is a privilege that should not be granted to organizations like Islam and its Muslim Organizations which are fundamentally against the US Constitution and Western Constitutions due to Muslim discrimination, segregation, violence, and terrorism with NO EQUALITY UNDER THE LAW. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 teaches, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed JIHAD with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” See also Qur’an 2:191; 4:89, 91; 8:60; 9:5, 29, 111; 47:4; 48:29, etc. Ultimately, Allah desires to fill hell with Non-Muslims(Qur’an 7:18; 11:119; 32:13; 98:6, etc.).

I never fly on any Muslim airline, nor do I board ANY airline with a Muslim in the cockpit.

How do we find out whether the crew comprises Muslims who are likely to kill the passengers in the name of Pbuh.. you know. This is serious stuff. Its enough to make me avoid any airline who employs these folk. I dont want to die and then the airline..to make nice.. offers my surviving family a free ride from one puddle stop to another .. and unlimited peanuts. Thus is scary stuff. Now thats its in the open .. this is going to become a fave of shahid.

Well, to be fair, once everybody is seated, the stewartesses announce the names of the flight crew. But by then, it’s too late: the ticket has been booked and one is on the flight. The last thing on the minds of passengers are the personal details of the crew members: they just want to get to their destinations
The best one can do is pick airlines that do not employ Muslims. Actually, I think Emirati airlines like Emirates or Etihad do a better job screening their crew, since they’re not scared of being accused of being “islamophobic”. The one w/ FlyDubai was an anomaly in that they hired an Omani pilots who had been grounded by the Omani authorities & given a desk job. The authorities inquiring into this should find out what fell through the cracks that FlyDubai hired him

You can ask the gate agent the names of the pilots, then make assumptions, based on Arabic names, that they’re Muslim. Then ask for a flight change if a Muslim is Captain or First Officer.
Back on 9/11, I was a First Officer employed by Delta, before I and 10,000 other airline pilots got furloughed for 5 years. 3 weeks after 9/11, I was scheduled to begin a trip starting from Detroit to Chicago O’Hare, then another 4 days to various destinations before terminating back in Detroit.
At the pilot check in desk, I checked the clipboard that had a computer printout of the flight numbers, gates, and pilot crewmembers. But for my flight, the Captains name was crossed out, and replaced by a penciled in name of a MUSLIM Captain. I was horrified.
I met him at the gate. He was very quiet and made little eye contact, deflecting most of my attempts at cordial ‘get to know you’ small talk. Throughout the flight to Chicago, every time he reached to the left into his flight bag, I was afraid he’d come out swinging the crash axe at my head then crash the jet into the Sears Tower.
It’s an uneasiness flying with Muslims that still affects me today. I always feel better having Deadheading pilots occupy the jumpseats.
Anyway, just ask the gate agents the names of the pilots, then ask for a delayed flight change if it’s a Muslim up front. That’s my advice.

The latter is something outside our control. But unlike most people who happily fly Qatar Airways, Emirates or Etihad, I never book any flight through any of these airlines, nor others like Turkish, Malaysian or others. I’d even try avoiding any of those countries as transit ports
Also, to date, I have never been to Israel, but once I do, I’d ask them to stamp my passport, so that it becomes invalid in much of dar UL islam

Israel is amazing. I highly recommend. It’s beautiful, rich in history, and the Jewish People were quite friendly to me.
The only way I’m entering any of Dar al Islam is in a USAF strike package – especially after my years of combatant military history, and the two decades I’ve spent online insulting Islam and their ‘prophet’. I’d feel exceedingly vulnerable were I not surrounded by well armed US Military.

Airlines need to start posting the names of pilots when you book a flight so you can make sure you don’t end up on a plane with a Muslim pilot.

The flight surgeon / aviation medical examiner AME for United Airlines should recommend to operations that Ibraham Mossalam be grounded.
The medical record should reflect mental instability but that is protected information that does not have to be included in the grounding recommendation.
If operations / management decides to disregard this recommendation, whatever happens is on them.

This actually was the second incident w/ Mossalam. The first time, they suspended him but reinstated him
Either United should do an audit as to why he was reinstated, or failing that, the FAA should open an investigation into United and whether it vets its crew
Westman says
Wanna bet he is still on the payroll for a few months? This is like NYC bad union teachers, they put them in a room together, away from students, and keep paying them until they go elsewhere or retire.
This guy shouldn’t be allowed in an airplane, ever.

Next step should be to check his immigration status. If he is even a naturalized citizens, that should be revoked and him deported to wherever he was originally from
