Here we go again. More taqiyya to seduce in the most gullible in our societies. “Nova Scotia Islamic community encourages people to learn about faith to help dispel misconceptions,” by Ally Bowes, The Chronicle Herald, October 19, 2026:
Tables lined walls filled with jewelry, clothing and other displays as part of Islamic Heritage Day celebrations at the Nova Scotia Islamic Community Center.
However, the weekend event was about a lot more than the Islamic faith. Organizers hoped it could foster connection as well as inspire younger members of the community to get involved.
As part of Islamic Heritage Month, on top of displays, members of the community and visitors got to experience performances, speeches from guests and more Saturday.
A chance to learn and connect
Imam Atef Asker said the event was meant to reflect the diversity of the community and to educate others on what makes up the religion.
“We have a lot of things to talk about like physics and science,” he said. “We have a lot of things, and everyone has his own history that we can talk about.”
To him, those who misunderstand or judge do so because they haven’t taken the time to learn or already have assumptions….

“To learn about faith to help dispel misconceptions”? What misconceptions? According to imam Atef Asker, who is involved: “Recently, we have heard and experienced some of the actions of some people who do not know about Islam…. Unfortunately, they don’t see, they don’t read, or they have some misconceptions.” Yet it’s as obvious as it could be what the Islamic community is trying to do in Nova Scotia: promote Islam as a religion of peace. Beware more Islamic da’wah, and the veneer of friendliness.
Who are you going to believe?
Islamic scholar in the UK:
“The law of Allah is superior to all of your laws. You cannot oppose or contradict what Allah says. We don’t like your democracy.”
This is Islam. They hate Western democracy, but they take advantage of it to advance the cause of Islam and eventually replace it with Sharia. https://t.co/HJLoUPXok8

The true face of Islam (and there’s so much more) as written:
“I asked Allah’s Apostle, ‘O Allah’s Apostle! What is the best deed?’ He replied, ‘To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times.’ I asked, “What is next in goodness?’ He replied, ‘To be good and dutiful to your parents.” I further asked, ‘What is next in goodness?” He replied, ‘To participate in Jihad in Allah’s Cause.’ I did not ask Allah’s Apostle anymore and if I had asked him more, he would have told me more.” (Sahih Bukhari 4.52.41)
“Let those who sell the life of this world for the next fight in the way of Allah. Whoever fights in the way of Allah, whether he is killed or victorious, on him we will bestow a great reward.” (Qur’an 4:74)
“When your Lord inspired the angels, I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then strike the necks and strike their fingertips.” (Qur’an 8:12)
A man asks Muhammad “which of men is the best?” Muhammad replies that it is the man who is always ready for battle and flies into it “seeking death at places where it can be expected.” (Sahih Muslim 20:4655)
In the words of Muhammad: “I would love to be martyred in Allah’s Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred.” (Sahih Bukhari 2797)
“Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties, and in exchange for that, they will have paradise. They fight for the sake of Allah. They kill, they get killed.” (Qur’an 9:111)
If Muslims were not following these texts on a grand, sweeping scale globally, and then screaming “Islamophobia” when the topic is raised, there would be no need for efforts to try to dispel so-called “misconceptions” about the religion. That’s because there are no widespread misconceptions to begin with. What’s unfortunately widespread is the big lie that Islam is a religion of peace, in the face of 1400 years of history and counting.
Rob Porter says
I loved this from Christine Douglass-Williams : “Here we go again. More taqiyya to seduce in the most gullible in our societies.” And this being Canada, according Conrad Black’s recent discovery, “the most silly woke society in the world” – and I will add to that, ‘politically correct’ and secular – these taqiyya- spewing Muslims will find huge gullibility
