We salute your stand and consistent actions against terrorism in India and on the international stage. Now, after the Flydubai flight 1073 terrorist attack, we request your government to take immediate steps and begin imparting factual and in-depth knowledge about the political, supremacist, expansionist, violent, and misogynistic aspects of the Islamic trilogy (the Quran, Hadiths, and the Sira) to specialized investigative agencies, such as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the National Investigation Agency (NIA), and all Indian Police Service (IPS) officers as well as defense forces officers, as these Islamic texts are a grave and permanent threat to the lives and property of all Indian citizens, especially Hindus.
Such an ISLAMOFACTIST approach, which bases all discussion and analyses of Islam and Muslims on facts and fact patterns alone, and not on fear or hate, cannot be delayed any further by the routine and discredited defense of “Islamophobia.”
Here are the reasons for this suggestion:
The Omani terrorist, Hamam al-Hammami, prayed just before he attacked the heroic Captain Smit Machchhar. His prayer was a submission, in his view, to Allah, who had assured Hammami that his verses — divine, immutable, final — sent down to humanity through an intermediary angel and recorded by the “Companions” of this prophet on animal skins, shoulder blades, flat bones, palm stalks, wooden tablets and smooth stones, who cannot humanly all have had perfect memory, and of which “seventy died in the Yamaamah battle during the lifetime of the Prophet” and finally collected in one version eighteen years after the death of this prophet, should serve as the prelude, foundation, inspiration and justification for the shedding of innocent blood. Allah called for the blood of Jews, and al-Hammami attempted to shed precisely that.
How long can the world endure such texts without studying them factually for their role in causing extreme human suffering, grave violations of human rights and international law?
The connection between Islamic texts, Muslims and terrorism is thoroughly documented at the global, professional and academic levels. The unspoken but major focus of the United Nations (UN) counter-terrorism architecture is on Muslims and Islamic organizations. Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN questioned why the UN Security Council’s terrorism list included only Muslims. He was factually incorrect, as approximately 80 per cent of the 736 individuals and 70 per cent of the 275 entities sanctioned by the UN Security Council (which has the primary responsibility for international peace and security) have distinctly Islamic names.
Following Security Council resolutions in 1999, 2011 and 2015, the Security Council receives regular reports concerning the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Da’esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities. UN reports on foreign terrorist fighters name only Muslim organizations. A reading of the UN’s handbook on the gender dimensions of the criminal justice response to terrorism makes clear that it is only Muslim women who are facing this issue; the handbook has 18 references to Islam and one reference to the ummah. It also notes that women are also coerced into joining terrorist or jihadist organizations.
Another UN handbook on the management of violent jihadist prisoners and the prevention of recruitment to jihad violence in prisons has 57 references to “religion,” 45 references to “Islam,” 16 references to “Muslim” and 17 references to jihad. The handbook is aware of the state of mind that Islamic texts can create in prisoners, as it refers to prisons having an “adequate supply of approved religious texts,” and goes on to warn about “texts smuggled into prison, which may advocate for national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence.” Such texts are not named, but conjecture about them would not be challenging.
The Rape Gangs Inquiry Report in the UK, supervised by a sitting MP, linked Islamic thought to the mass rape of women in the UK. In the US, during the Bush administration, Robert Spencer, an eminent authority on Islamic doctrine and prolific author, delivered seminars and talks to the FBI and military personnel on Islam and jihad till 2010, when further classes were stopped because of the demands made by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). A book entitled The Criminal Investigator-Intelligence Analyst’s Handbook of Islam by William Gawthrop, Ph.D., breaks down Islamic doctrine into its criminal justice implications, and relies primarily on Sunni Islam”s doctrinal texts. Dr. Gawthrop notes that Australian courts have “determined that Islamic-based crimes have been motivated by Islamic beliefs and that suras related to jihad or fighting contributed to the offenses.”
In 1985, in India, the Calcutta Quran petition tried (but failed) to get the Quran banned on grounds that it “promotes disharmony, feeling of enmity, hatred and ill-will between different religious communities and incite [s] people to commit violence and disturb public tranquility.” A former Shia Muslim in India sought directions from the Indian Supreme Court to remove 26 verses of the “Holy Quran” for violating the laws of the land and promoting jihad terrorism.
Words have significant power to influence humans, particularly those in religious texts, where their meanings can shape beliefs and actions. “The Quran is not just a book of scripture for Muslims; it’s a complete guide for life,” and provides “practical instruction for every moment of existence.” This is consequential, as the Quran repeatedly describes itself as “the clear (or manifest) Book,“ or Kitab al-Mubeen. This “clear” Qur’an in verse 98.6 declares kaffirs to be “the most vile of created beings.” The Qur’an has at least 109 verses that speak of war with nonbelievers, usually based on their status as non-Muslims. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding.”
Quran 9:29 commands Muslims to fight those “who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day” until they pay the jizyah while they are humbled.” Quranic verses establish a permanent legal category of non-Muslims living under Muslim rule, who retain life and property only through submission, payment, and acknowledged inferiority.
The most reliable and consistent indicator of the nature of Islam is the actions of Muslims implementing Islamic texts. When Muslims literally apply Islam (not all of them do, and nor is it possible to do so, given that most people are preoccupied with routine aspects of their lives, including work, family, and friends, suggesting that the so-called moderate Muslims are peaceful not because of Islam, but despite it), the result is before us. Centuries have passed, nations have risen and fallen, borders have been drawn and erased, but one thing continues since the seventh century: unending jihad violence by Muslims implementing Islam as they see it.
The Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Jains of India have been the worst affected by Islamic jihad for centuries. Recall Will Durant”s phrase that the “Mohammadan conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history,” with an estimated six million Hindus being killed. History records the destruction and plunder of thousands of temples and women who jumped into flames to save their bodies from post-mortem rape and sexual desecration by Muslim invaders. In recent decades, India has seen scores of deadly terror incidents: attacks on prominent hotels in the heart of India’s commercial capital in 2008, the ethnic cleansing of Hindus by Muslims in Kashmir in 1990, the terror attack in Pahalgam in 2025, when jihadis pulled down the trousers of 20 victims to confirm they were Hindus before killing them, vast networks targeting Hindu women for conversion, their plan to make India Islamic by 2047 with Darul Uloom Deoband issuing a fatwa giving “validity to idea of Ghazwa-e-Hind.”
It is not only India; jihad is a worldwide historical constant. Consider this short and recent list of atrocities after the establishment of the UN and the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. Muslims killing Jews in Israel, Muslims killing Christians in Nigeria and Sri Lanka, enforced disappearances and persecution by Muslims of the Bahá’í minority in Iran, burning churches, synagogues, blowing up the centuries-old Bamiyan Buddha statue in Afghanistan, Muslims slaughtering athletes during the Munich Olympics, Muslims ramming large trucks killing innocent bystanders in Germany and the US, and Muslims attacking concertgoers in France. Between 1979 and April 2024, there were 66,872 Islamic terror attacks worldwide and more than 50,000 Islamic terror attacks only since 9/11.

It was not “six million Hindus”whom the Muslims killed, but “sixty million.” This must be a typo either by the author or by Will Durant. In fact, the figure arrived at by the Indian historian K.S. Lal is “70-80 Hindus” killled by the Muslims.
