Mayor Zohran Mamdani is still without federal security clearance after nine months on the job — limiting his ability to be briefed on classified information involving terrorism or other threats to New York City.
Mamdani on Monday tried to play down the lack of potentially crucial information being shared with him, telling reporters during an unrelated press conference in City Hall that this was a “typical timeline” for approval.
“The process of my getting a federal security clearance is ongoing,” Mamdani said.
What could be holding up the security clearance?
1. He’s a foreign national who got his U.S. citizenship 5 minutes ago.
2. His dad and all his friends support terrorism.
3. He’s best known for his attendance at pro-terrorist rallies and pro-terrorist advocacy.
4. He picked a lawyer for the 20th hijacker as city counsel.
5. He released a rap song in support of Islamic terrorist funders.
So yes, it’s a mystery. But we increasingly have officials and staffers in national and local politics who couldn’t get a security clearance to save their lives. Or shouldn’t be able to, but probably did anyway?
Is there any planet in which LA Mayor Karen Bass could get one after her work with Communist Cuban front groups? Or Bill de Blasio in New York City after his time with Marxist pro-guerrilla groups?
We’re defining political deviancy so far down that anyone who hasn’t actually set off a bomb is probably going to get their security clearance.

I would be amused at people, but it’s maddening that they call evil Mamdani everything BUT a muslim. Socialist? Communist? He’s a fricking muslim, but maybe people haven’t heard him speak Islam perfectly. I only heard him speak that evil ideology once, from their satanic book, but that was enough to know exactly what he truly was! I don’t live in New York, but yet I want him gone, as much as I want that “person”, destroying everything in Washington, GONE!

The guy I married, had a very high security clearance. The government did checks on me and my family before he was allowed to get married. I didn’t know it at the time, because he couldn’t tell me until way after the fact.
This muzzie should be an outcast….no clearance, ever.

Mamdani doesn’t need a US security clearance. He is already cleared for dawah, Islamic proselytizing and grifting. In his world a US security clearance ranks well below dawah anyway.

Mamdani’s is ineligible to receive any security clearance, even the low-level “confidential.” He could delegate Jessica Tisch,, the current police commissioner, to get clearance and represent NYC in all classified briefings. When she started her career with NYC (before it went to hell), she was in the Counterterrorism Bureau of the NYPD under Raymond Kelly, so she probably held at least a secret clearance back then.

Huma Abedin was chief of staff to the Secretary of State, HRC, while she was on the masthead of the Muslim Brotherhood magazine. Apparently, HRC refused to read off a computer, so she had top secret documents printed. Huma said that she didn’t know how to print them (Huma it is ctrl P), so she emailed them to Anthony Wiener’s home computer for him to print. And so he decided he was well qualified for the game of Politics.
His birthday is coming up on the 18th of October (he will be 12) so maybe they plan tpresento the clearance to him then, wrapped in a big red bow.
