Warnings From Piddington’s Neighbors on the Migrant Dangers to Women

The village of Piddington in Oxfordshire, population 350, has declared its independence from the U.K., as a way to protest the planned move of 1,250 Muslim migrant males into a disused Ministry of Defense facility next to the village. And now residents of nearby villages in the U.K. have been letting the villagers of Piddington know what their own experience with Muslim migrant males has been. And life has been especially worrisome for the girls and women in these villages. It’s quite a picture they paint, in very dark colors.

A series of towns next door to migrant camps have said they have turned into “no-go zones” for women in a grim warning to Piddington.

The Oxfordshire village of Piddington symbolically voted for independence over Labour’s plans to convert an MoD site into migrant housing – adding 1,250 “asylum seekers” to the small community.

Women in the village have urged female MPs to intervene, warning they would be outnumbered 10 to one.

But now, locals in Braintree, Chelmsford and Colchester in Essex have opened up on what life is really like after receiving their own batch of neighbours nearby.

Some 800 migrants are currently being housed at MDP Wethersfield, eight miles from Braintree, as they await decisions on their asylum applications.

Locals have said the presence of the illegal migrants have endangered women and girls. They have allegedly been spat at, filmed without consent, harassed and told to “cover up”.

Essex Police Chief Constable Rachel Nolan has claimed migrant crime was “very low” and there was no reason for concern, but residents in nearby towns described a very different picture.

Whom shall we believe? The pollyannish police, such as Rachel Nolan, who everywhere in the U.K. have been under-reporting on Muslim crime, in order to keep the British people from that supposedly hideous condition of mistrust anathematized as “Islamophobia”? The British police who for more than a decade hid the truth about those Pakistani grooming gangs and thereby allowed a quarter of a million British girls to become their victims?

Essex County Council leader Peter Harris told GB News in August that asylum seekers were living in “a holiday camp” with gymnasiums, sports halls, squash courts, a fitness room, two restaurants and a snack bar….

Quite the royal treatment these false “asylum seekers” have been receiving; it sounds as if they’ve been lodged in an upscale holiday resort — one where everything is free, courtesy of the U.K. Home Office.

Just think: if the plan to move those 1,250 Muslim migrants into the precincts of Piddington is halted, it will not be because the government has any sudden sympathy for the concerns of its residents, but because it worries about the danger not to its humans, but to its animals. To wit, the great crested newt and the barbastelle bat, that are on the endangered species list and would be adversely affected by the opening of this huge migrant camp.

Piddington Parish Council Chairman Tim McNally described the vote for independence as “Ground Zero for a whole number of issues”, and the vote may now embolden towns facing crimes from migrants.

Piddington’s vote for independence, and the favorable attention it has received across the U.K. and beyond, should embolden other English people to make the same demand of their government: no more migrants, please, they are destroying our placid way of life, they bring more crime, and especially, create a menacing atmosphere for women and girls.

The Home Office has denied allegations of taxpayer-funded activities for asylum seekers at Wethersfield.

Really? Whom should we believe? The Home Office, that says there are no activities that British taxpayers are funding for the “asylum seekers” at Wethersfield? Or should we believe the Essex County Council leader Peter Harris, who had gone inside the Wethersfield facility and seen with his own eyes that asylum seekers were living in “a holiday camp” with gymnasiums, sports halls, squash courts, a fitness room, two restaurants and a snack bar? I’d trust Harris, the Head of the Essex County Council, who reported what he saw inside the Wethersfield migrant facility with his own eyes, and not the Home Office, that has a stake in pooh-poohing reports of luxury living for the migrants it has been inflicting on Britishers hither and yon.

The people who live near the migrant housing in Wethersfield have described a situation where women are harassed, insulted, abused, and threatened, where a grandmother insists on her young granddaughters be outfitted with “rape whistles,” and women fear going out alone in the “no-go neighborhoods” of their once-safe villages. The women of Braintree, Chelmsford, and Colchester have suffered for years from the migrants living close by at the Wethersfield facility. Their experience makes it all the more necessary for the people of Piddington to rise in revolt against the Home Office plans for housing the migrants nearby, while most of the U.K. is watching the spectacle play out, in admiration for the stalwart men and women of Piddington.
