The UK has a shortage of doctors. About 20,000 MDs leave the country each year; the low salaries that the socialized medical system, NHS, provides drive them out. In their stead, foreign doctors — many from Muslim countries such as Pakistan and Egypt — have been allowed in to practice. It turns out not to have been a wise idea; these foreign doctors make up a majority of the misconduct cases. More on those foreign-trained doctors who have been responsible for colossal errors can be found here: “Foreign-trained doctors responsible for majority of misconduct cases,” by Michael Searles and Ben Butcher, Telegraph, August 30, 2026:

Foreign-trained doctors are responsible for the majority of misconduct cases in Britain despite being a minority, Telegraph analysis has revealed.
Medics trained abroad accounted for 55.6 per cent of cases where misconduct was proven last year, despite making up 42 per cent of doctors working in the UK….
The GMC continues to receive more fitness to practise referrals about doctors trained abroad than those in the UK, although it blames this on discrimination….
Why must “discrimination” be so quickly invoked as the putative cause? Isn’t it just possible that the training in foreign medical schools is not up to British standards?
Another doctor trained in Egypt, Dr Baraa Almasri, was struck off for supporting his flatmate, Marius Gustavson, known as the “eunuch maker”, who performed extreme and illegal body mutilations in their London basement.
Rather than reporting the procedures, which included amputations and castrations broadcast online to paying subscribers, Dr Almasri found it a “source of humour” and wanted to know more about how to do them.
I can imagine that gruesome scene in the basement: the blood and gore, the surgery that gang agley, leaving some trusting patients in no condition, or with no desire, to perform. And of course, the online subscribers who paid to see it all.
In another case, Dr Mahdi Halim, who was trained in Sudan, was given a final warning for bullying, after a tribunal heard allegations that included innuendos about colleagues.
He was accused of asking junior doctors intrusive questions about their sexual experiences, including whether they had orgasms, and calling British women “dirty” or “trashy”. These claims were denied and found not proven by the panel.
Dr Halim blamed a toxic work environment but apologised and undertook corrective training. He is still working in the NHS.
If Dr. Halim were white, surely he would have been struck off for such behavior. But in our new world, there are different strokes for different folks, and if you’re Muslim…
Here’s what the British government should do to try to make up for the shortfall in physicians working for the NHS:
Establish eight new medical schools — there are currently 42 in the UK — to turn out four thousand additional doctors each year.
Conduct an advertising campaign to attract 5,000 doctors from the Anglosphere (the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand), with promises of low taxes for the first five years of their practice in the UK.
Seek out doctors from the European Union who might want to practice in the UK, with the same tax benefits as are offered physicians from the Anglosphere.
Don’t let Third World doctors enter the UK to practice unless they undergo a year of additional training in their specialty.
That’s a start.

Can you imagine a more unsettling circumstance than a Pakistani of Egyptian doctor assigned to you? You are already sick, perhaps even dying, but leave it to the NHS to make it even worse.

imagine, if you are Jewish, and were assigned a Pakistani or Egyptian doctor…
(actually one. of my doctors is Indian and married to Israeli…he is Jewish)

When does an academic paper cross over into antisemitic rhetoric?
When George Holmes, a professor of conservation at the University of Leeds, first read a commentary in the Royal Geographical Society’s flagship journal, he told Times Higher Education that his first assumption was that the journal had been hacked. That is a reasonable reaction to a paper in a geography journal that explains the 2024 Southport riots by way of a “strategic consensus between Zionist groups and fascist groups” against Muslims, that declares white supremacy the core of the Zionist project, and that relays a claim that most anti-Muslim rhetoric in America is financed from “Zionist Israeli” sources.
The paper is Kawtar Najib’s “The United Kingdom’s first anti-Muslim pogroms in a context of genocidal Islamophobia in Gaza,” published in The Geographical Journal in August 2025. Jewish News flagged it a year ago, noting that its sources for the Zionism material include such overtly biased sources as David Miller, Hatem Bazian, and Press TV. …..
