He seems to think genuinely that if he went to Gaza, he would be welcomed. If he has heard at all about Islam’s death penalty for homosexuality, he likely dismissed it as “Islamophobia.” If he heard about the Taliban and others putting homosexuals to death, he likely assumes that they’re “extremists” who have “hijacked” and misunderstood Islam, and that if he were in a Muslim environment, the “moderates” would welcome and protect him. He has been thoroughly propagandized, and the job has been done so skillfully that he doesn’t even realize it was done. He will likely never realize unless he actually ventured to Gaza and proclaimed himself a “queer for Palestine,” but if he did that, he wouldn’t live long enough to ruminate over how foolish he had been.

The leadership knew many where setup in 5 star Hotels in Qatar when the Oct.7 2023 attack happen .Hamas leadership does not give a rats ass about the people living in Gaza the more the regular people in Gaza suffer the more overseas support for Hamas .Hamas loves pictures of dead babies ,dead women ,and is more then willing to use it’s own people as human shields and cannon fodder. Hamas was stealing foreign aid for the Gaza before Oct 7 2023 (much of it from Israel and western countries ) and using it to build terror tunnels, buy weapons or invest in real estate in the west for their own families. This war is nothing but a good PR racket to keep them in power , lost of human life in the Gaza and Israel means nothing to them .It is off the topic of the above article ,but the PR Homosexuals in the west buy or other in the west embrace runs counter to the 1200 year history of Islam .

I think you are assuming that Hamas is rational. Only an irrational actor would attack Israel.
Hamas had likely been planning the attack for very long time.
And Hamas knew that Israel with its IDF / IAF would respond with a very very powerful counterattack.
But Hamas just couldn’t help themselves…
