These people are not polished spokesmen who know to tell an interviewer (in this case, the intrepid Nate Friedman) what he wants to hear; they’re just saying what they think, and they’re not the “moderates” that most non-Muslim Americans would assume them to be. The 16-story triumphal mosque planned after the 9/11 attacks at Ground Zero was never built, but there are smaller mosques in the area where these people pray. They are no less supremacist than the people who would have built the Ground Zero mega-mosque if they had been able to do so.

It is a fact that Al Qaeda conducted the complex and near simultaneous attacks on USA Embassies in both Kenya and Tanzania in 1998.
Al Qaeda conducted a sophisticated attack on the USS Cole in 2000.
The 19 Al Qaeda terrorists involved in the 9/11 attacks in 2001 in the USA did so motivated by their interpretation of Islam and previous statements made by Al Qaeda.
The University of Alaska may have concluded that WTC 7 did not collapse solely because of the fires that raged for several hours in the buildings, but importantly they found zero evidence that explosives had prompted the failure of the structural columns that resulted in the building collapse.
Any person suggesting the US government orchestrated the 9/11 attacks owes the families of the victims an apology..

Yea I know about this. A lot of these sites have mosques on top. It’s such a touchy subject because both sides are going to have such polarized positions.
The Muslims would claim leave it as is, it was a thousand years ago, we didn’t do it, some other people did it. Hindus of course would want their temples to be re built on their Hindu temple land. But my understanding is that the Muslims usually have favored treatment in India with such topics. It is for communal harmony and a policy of the former socialist regimes.
If you push the Muslims too much, you could face another partition of sub areas all over. I don’t think you’ll ever get the temples back. But the chance of losing temples in future civil wars and a future Muslim take over is very real. That’s the Muslim advantage over you Hindus. Bangladesh Pakistan Hindus are pushed out and abused . India leaves Muslims alone. So all they need is to take over once and apply Pakistan norms on you.
