Safeway offers halal products, but that isn’t good enough. The Muslim making this video apparently wants the supermarket chain also to isolate the halal products far away from the haram products, not because there is any actual possibility of contamination, but as a demonstration of its willingness to accommodate Muslim demands, no matter how unreasonable they are. Better yet, Safeway could stop selling pork and alcohol altogether. That’ll prove they’re not “Islamophobic.”

This guy is a total clown. All processed meats, if it’s halal, kosher or regular comes from large facilities, the same places. We made all the halal processed products, the biggest names, and it was side by side with regular bacon, hams, kosher stuff, halal.
The only difference is the source of the meat, and the lining on the machine that processes it. IE the same machine packs and processes bacon and halal! So if it ends up in the same supermarket, they’ve been together since day two. The only difference is halal and kosher come from a different slaughter house!
What did this Muslim think? Those Islamic company names on the product, those company contract a large facility to work and slap a label on it. And we had zero Muslims on site. We did their halal, the biggest name brands.
Take it from a meat packer when I was a young me! And they still have those contracts.

The Muzzie may have a point objecting to Jimmy Dean bacon. While there is nothing wrong with it, brands such as Smithfield Naturally Hickory Smoked wins hands down in taste. Aldies Appleton is also very good and is probably the best for the price.
As pointed out by others, just get rid of the Halal section. The other shoppers would probably welcome not seeing a bunch of drop clothed-wrapped muzzies shopping in the same store.

On a specific note, having a kosher section in a food market doesn’t mean Jews will conclude that non-Jews are not doing enough or that everyone needs to end up Jewish. By contrast, having an halal section in a food market (N.B., I agree with Infidel that this should never occur in the first place) most definitely will make Buttlims conclude that still not enough is being done for one reason or another (N.B., no dhimmi can ever do enough for Buttlims) and, oh yes, that everyone everywhere does indeed have to end up a Muslim or, if not and a Jew, Zoroastrian or Christian, “pay the jizya and be subdued” (Sura 9:29). If not one of these three, as examples Hindus or Buddhists, it’s either conversion or death, no opportunity to even be a subservient dhimmi.

In some stores vegetarian products are off in their own little section–but often the plant-based bacon is near the bacon, the plant-based milk is near the milk and creamers, etc. So long as everything is clearly labeled, I don’t mind either way.

Somebody here on JW suggested putting pork on top of halal meat in the supermarkets.
So I went looking this week at the nearest Safeway (AZ) to see if there was any meat that was marked halal, as a few years ago I quit buying lamb for my Greek recipes as they had halal lamb at that time. Maybe they couldn’t sell it, because I couldn’t find anything with a halal stamp.
Hopefully. the hijab wearing Muslima in the pharmacy is gone now too. Haven’t seen her in a while. Won’t get any meds or shots there until I know she’s hit the road.

GE, I had a nightmare dream a couple of nights ago. I was in a drugstore, and when I went to the counter for medications, all of the pharmacists were muzzies.

I don’t even know if this stuff is true. I went to purchase a whole animal, and they had pigs, sheep, cows within close proximity.
And I saw some Muslims from Iraq , religious ones. I asked what they’re doing here, they said it is not forbidden. I didn’t slaughter mine but they slaughtered theirs on their own. Keep in mind ,pigs get killed on their same spot, and pigs are on the same property.
FYI- you will save a ton of money if you go kill your own cow. You just need to pay extra for the butchering or do it your self. More than half off.

At least in Virginia & New Jersey, Costco has that. But their halal section is in the closed fridges at the rear right end of the store, whereas the porks are something one would typically find right next to the meat-processing section. That way, Costco keeps them completely separate: it would be a tad bizarre for someone to take a packet of Italian sausages and leave it w/ the halal goat shanks
These days, I try to maximize on pork for my meat, since they can’t be halal
