Michigan: Jewish Attorney General Has Advice for Fellow Jews: Risk Jewish Survival for ‘Greater Good of Humanity’

Dana Nessel, a Jewish Democrat and the state’s attorney general, has now thrown back at Jews in Michigan all that “repairing the world” business, tikkun olam, the notion that Jews have a special duty to save the world — no, they really don’t. She wants Jews to vote for the antisemitic, anti-Israel, and anti-American Abdulrahman El-Sayed, because, you see, it is more important for the Democrats to become the majority in the Senate than it is to stop the resistible rise of Abdul El-Sayed, a clear and present danger both to Jews, and to non-Jews, in America.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, a Jewish Democrat, encouraged Jewish voters on Sunday to put aside concerns about their safety “in exchange for the opportunity to save the rest of humanity,” in a stark reference to the choices facing Jewish Democrats in the closely contested Senate election this November.

That’s right, Jews in Michigan. Dana Nessel has a new and tremendous task for you, and you alone. The people who have been the most persecuted in human history should be prepared to live in danger once again, here in America, if they have “the opportunity to save the rest of humanity.” And how will the rest of humanity be saved? By electing Abdulrahman El-Sayed, who does not believe that Israel has a right to exist, and who accuses the Jewish state of committing “genocide.” El-Sayed, the man who as a devout Muslim believes that all non-Muslims are “the most vile of created beings,” while Muslims, on the other hand, are the “best of peoples.” The man who thinks Muhammad is the Model of Conduct (uswa hasana) and Most Perfect Man (al-insan al-kamil), despite his having had sexual intercourse with little Aisha when she was nine years old and he fifty-four. The man who admires Muhammad, despite his having boasted in a famous hadith that “I have been made victorious through terror.” Does Dana Nessel know any of that? No, she’s that dangerous thing, a dope with a law degree. Perhaps she could take the time to read Robert Spencer’s The Critical Qur’an before making pronouncements on the need to support Muslim candidates such as El-Sayed.

She wants Jews to put the world’s interest — the same world that has persecuted Jews through time and space — over their own self-interest, over their very survival.

Here is her astounding call to Jewish self-sacrifice for “the needs of the world”:

“We have a moral imperative to place the needs of the world above even our own self-interest and, yes, even our own survival,” Nessel told attendees in her remarks at the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus’ annual “Summer Simcha” gathering, where she was honored, according to reports confirmed by Jewish Insider.

Yes, this madwoman is serious. She wants Jews to put the “needs of the world above…even our own survival.” Really? Is the best way for Jews in Michigan to help the world by ensuring the victory of someone as malevolent — not just toward Jews, but toward all of us who are not Muslims and are alarmed at the march of Islam in the West — as El-Sayed? I’d put it differently. If Jews want to help better the world — no one can be expected to “save it” (whatever that means) — they should be moving heaven and earth to defeat El-Sayed, as should, of course, all non-Jews. Is Congress a better place because Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar now sit in the House of Representatives? Is the world a better place because 44 million Muslims now live in Europe? Is the world a better place because Islam conquered so many lands and so many peoples? Muslims are inexorably increasing their numbers all over the Western world. Is that helping humanity? If he were to be elected, El-Sayed would soon become the center of an anti-Israel cabal in the Senate, along with Chris Van Hollen and Bernie Sanders. He would work to end all American aid to Israel, which would endanger the Jewish state. Would the disappearance of Israel make the “world a better place”?

Dana Nessel will never understand it, but she is antisemitic. She thinks Jews have a duty to sacrifice themselves — if need be to put their very survival at stake — for what she sees as the good of humanity. I repeat here that single sentence of Nessel that should be etched in all our memories: “We [Jews] have a moral imperative to place the needs of the world above even our own self-interest and, yes, even our own survival.”

Oh yes, El-Sayed “regrets” certain remarks he made after the attack on a Detroit synagogue in March, when he said that “hurt people hurt people” and “violence is a cycle.” Let’s not be idiotic, shall we? Of course he is now merely mouthing what he thinks he must in order to win over the terminally gullible.

Yet Nessel says she will not back Mike Rogers. What’s wrong with Mike Rogers? Why such a reluctance of some Jews to endorse him? After all, it is not Rogers, but his opponent, Abdul el-Sayed, who denies that Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state.

Another line by Nessel that should be etched in our brains: “It is perhaps up to us now to follow in her [Queen Esther’s] path and sacrifice the comfort, safety and security and even the very future of our own people in exchange for the opportunity to save the rest of humanity.” If you want to sacrifice your comfort and safety and security, Dana Nessel, in order to “save the rest of humanity,” go right ahead, we won’t stop you. But for god’s sake, kindly leave the rest of us, Jews and non-Jews alike, alone.

Nessel has also said: “What good is defending the historic homeland of our ancestors and demanding that candidates acknowledge its right to exist, if the planet upon which it rests is no longer inhabitable?” Hmm. Oh, I see. The most important thing is to slow down global warming. Because if we don’t, the world will “no longer be inhabitable.” And the only way to prevent that is to give the Democrats control of the Senate. And that means you, Jews of Michigan, must — to save the planet — vote for Abdulrahman El-Sayed, no matter what that may mean for the survival of the Jewish state and of the Jewish people.

Nessel asked Jews: “Come November, what do your Jewish values tell you to do?” Hmm. What are “Jewish values”? I don’t know, but I don’t think suicide “for the benefit of the world” is one of them. I would have thought, given the history of the 20th century, that Jewish values would now include the duty to multiply, to make up for all those murdered by the Nazis and so many other willing collaborators.

Nessel doesn’t grasp the full danger of El-Sayed. She’s willing to overlook his denial of Israel’s right to exist because she thinks that if he becomes a Senator, then — it doth follow as the day the night — Congress will pass legislation to halt global warming, and so will every other country, and then the whole wide world will be saved from extinction. And not a moment too soon. All because Jews in Michigan voted for El-Sayed.

A member of the Jewish caucus, Joan Lowenstein, said: “Many do not agree and don’t want to turn their backs on Jewish life in the U.S. or in Israel so that we can have a Democratic Senate. Even though many of us disagree with each other, we respect the validity of these views.” Well, I trust that Jews in Michigan will not “respect the validity” of Nessel’s call for Jews to sacrifice themselves in order to “save the world,” and will, by way of riposte, show up to cast their ballots this November, but not for Abdulrahman El-Sayed.

One last point: in the Middle East, Israel is holding the fort for Infidels everywhere. Its military strength, its economic achievements, its successes in all kinds of technology, its ability to keep Muslim enemies at bay, is a much greater achievement “for the good of the world” than Dana Nessel comprehends. Among other bad qualities, she’s an ingrate.
