The Jerusalem Center for Foreign Affairs and Security poll has strong merit.
Islamic State-linked activity has been on the rise in Israel, especially in Judea and Samaria (a.k.a. the West Bank).
Last year, two perpetrators of a Judea and Samaria jihad terror attack turned out to be Palestinian Authority cops. In fact, Palestinian Authority security forces are reportedly “building offensive force for surprise attack.” Although intended to be a civilian force, it didn’t stay that way. The force “now numbers approximately 65,000 combat-trained personnel, including individuals with past terror convictions, and possesses weaponry suited for offensive operations, including grenade launchers, machine guns, armored vehicles and armor-piercing munitions.” Kahn further concluded that “every inch of the State of Israel is in danger.”
The IDF has also uncovered Hamas plans for a mass jihad attack in Judea and Samaria, and central Israel. A brigadier general also warned that any released jihadi prisoners would wage jihad and build militias in Judea and Samaria.
Judea and Samaria pose an extreme risk to Israelis, and Israeli citizens are well aware of that, as the Jerusalem Center for Foreign Affairs and Security poll shows. Thus, Israel must keep Judea and Samaria under the strictest control.
Also, in mid-August, Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon told the UN Security Council: “We are not leaving Judea and Samaria,” based on the rights of the Jewish people.

“Large majority of Israelis fear an October 7-style attack from the West Bank, poll finds,” by Aaron Glick, Jerusalem Post, September 7, 2026:
A majority of Israelis fear that an October 7-style terrorist attack may originate from the West Bank, according to findings released by the Jerusalem Center for Foreign Affairs and Security (JCFA) on Monday.
The findings show that 77% of Israelis, including 86% of Jewish Israelis, are afraid that Palestinian Authority security forces could conduct a large-scale attack much like Hamas did on October 7, 2023.
The study further found that 75% of Jewish Israelis, among 67% of all Israelis, oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state along the 1967 lines.
Earlier on Monday, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that, should Israel identify a plan to launch an “October-7 style” attack, he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have directed the IDF to target senior PA officials in an “all-out war” on terrorism in the West Bank.
“If the security apparatuses of the Palestinian Authority and the bodies associated with them launch, or we know for certain that they are about to launch, an October 7-style terrorist attack against forces and Jewish settlements, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I instructed the IDF to prepare to launch an all-out war against senior officials and mechanisms of the [Palestinian] Authority, the bodies associated with them, and against all terrorist infrastructure in Judea and Samaria – in order to quickly bring about their complete defeat,” said Katz….

The British have actually been training Palestinian Authority forces. But the Israeli President has just put a stop to that as a reaction to the British boycott of Israeli ‘settlements’. The question is. Why were the British training these savages in the first place?
