The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is in no position to give out any meaningful designations; nor does it hold any authority to do so. It’s nothing but an activist Muslim activist lobby with connections to the terror group Hamas. It was designated an unindicted coconspirator in the largest terrorism funding trial in the history of America. In fact, the governors of Texas and Florida have also designated CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood as terror groups.
None of the speakers and Jewish organizations that CAIR is smearing are actually extremists. They are truth-tellers operating in a difficult environment. Pro-Hamas CAIR is the only extremist group in this scenario. CAIR’s Executive Director Nihad Awad applauded the barbaric October 7 massacre, and called it a “victory” for Gaza. In past, Awad has also participated in a three-day summit of U.S.-based Hamas members.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, recently announced that it has designated both the Jewish American Summit and the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) as anti-Muslim extremist organizations after both entities hosted separate events this past weekend that platformed known anti-Muslim bigots expressing their hatred of Muslims.
The organizers of the Jewish American Summit have elected to platform anti-Muslim extremists over the last three years, culminating at the August 2026 event, during which attendees cheered and applauded a speaker who said he did not want Muslims in America and likened them to donkeys.
A video preserved by Middle East Eye shows 2026 event speaker, former Israeli operative and anti-Muslim extremist Mosab Hassan Youssef, stating, “I as an American. I as a taxpayer. I don’t want Muslims in America. Get the f**k out of the United States. Go back to the s**tholes where you came from and reform your own countries. This country is perfect, and it’s much better without your Islamic belief system.”
Fellow invited speaker Dr. Gad Saad has also previously alleged that Islam and Muslims are inherently or uniquely violent, manipulative, and devious He also frequently alleges that Islam is an existential threat to the U.S. and the “West.”
Each of the anti-Muslim speakers featured at the Jewish American Summit, including Youssef, Saad, Bill Maher, Ambassador Mike Huckabee, and Dennis Prager, has a public and lengthy record of expressing hatred of Islam or Muslims….
