The details are chilling. A young woman was stabbed around twenty times by her mother this Saturday in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), a police source told us.
Around 2:00 PM, firefighters responded to an apartment on Allée René Descartes to assist a severely injured young woman. Preliminary information suggests a family dispute broke out—for reasons yet to be determined—during which the mother allegedly stabbed her daughter about twenty times in the back.
The girl managed to leave the flat. She was subsequently treated by the emergency services and taken as a medical emergency to the Georges Pompidou European Hospital in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. Her condition is life-threatening.
Shortly after the incident, the mother is said to have barricaded herself inside the flat and blocked the front door. Police officers, who had the keys, forced their way into the flat and arrested her. According to the same police source, the suspect is said to have shouted “Allahu akbar” at that moment….
