According to the Western Journal:
Sedra and his wife, Noleen Sedra, are associated with Echo Church, a Pentecostal church movement.
Both speak against homosexuality, as well as other pressing issues like abortion and the rise of Islam in the West.
Other family members, such as brothers Martin Sedra and John Sedra, and sister-in-law Noleen Sedra, received verbal threats from the activists.
The Sedra brothers come from a Coptic background, and their family faced persecution in their native Egypt.
The West has allowed rabid leftists too much leverage to become terrorists against Christians.

The left has become increasingly degenerate in its open support for harmful activities such as mutilating underaged children via sex changes, abortion on demand at any stage of development, and support for the likes of Lindsay Clancy, who murdered her three children. They represent the destruction of the nuclear family and every honorable value that makes a society healthy.
Ironically, most rabid leftists also support the Palestinian cause of “resistance” (jihad), and subscribe to the “Islamophobia” subterfuge. The violent LGBTQ activists who attacked Pastor Andrew Sedra’s home would never try attacking a Muslim cleric’s home (nor should they) for opposing their lifestyle. They would not do so even if that cleric advocated executing gays, or throwing gays off roof-tops headfirst, which Christianity neither teaches nor practices.
These rabid activists should try their craziness among Muslims in the Middle East, including among the Palestinians of both Judea and Samaria and Gaza.
Most jarring is the fact that Pastor Sedra comes from a Coptic background. He knows and understands Islamic jihad and persecution, and most likely would not have expected the nightmare he experienced in Australia. Pastor Sedra also is all too familiar with what would happen to these rabid LGBTQ activists if they attacked the home of an Islamic cleric in Egypt, or even came out of the closet and dared to organize a Pride parade in Cairo or Alexandria.
Christians (and Jews) remain easy targets for the increasingly hateful leftists in the West.

This certainly was not mentioned on the mainstream news, gravenimage, but violent crime is a huge issue here in Australia with gangs killing one another in Sydney’s suburbs and often killing totally innocent people. Two innocent people, 23 year old Marco tapis and 40 year old josh MacDonald were murdered by mistake this week. Probably the police are concentrating on the gang warfare which seems out of control. I hope pastor sedra and his family can stay safe. On the news this morning they said Melbourne has the worst crime rates but Sydney is pretty bad.

Yes, crime, really violent crime, has certainly increased out here, gravenimage. And over the last few years, there have been 6 innocent people murdered by mistake in these gang wars in Sydney. It is, of course, a huge issue out here with many people saying crime is out of control.

To all fellow Christians here: Never, ever again be fooled by the Left’s talk of “compassion”. The attack on Mr. Sedra’s house shows what their “compassion” really is. They will very graciously allow us our prayer closets in the name of a “right to privacy”, but they are also the party that say very plainly that the personal is political. They are mendacious, and need to be recognized as such.
But Iam glad that the mask is coming off. If we want to support compassion, vote anything but Left. Re-build the institution of the diaconate in churches, not as a stepping stone to clerical ordination, but as its original function, which was care for the widows and orphans (and, by extension, other poor people).

This has then manifested in more and more bizarre behaviours and beliefs over the years, which themselves are accepted as perfectly normal and healthy.
