Higher education has become a terrorist training camp.

Numbers from the following Brandeis report, American Undergraduates and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, show 18% support for Hamas among college students and 15% favorability for Israel.
They’re roughly in line from numbers we’ve seen before.
And before the initial response is about Israel, Hasbara or any of that, let’s remember that other polls have shown that…
67% of college students have a positive view of socialism compared to 40% for capitalism and 43% of students rate Communism positively
1 in 3 college students believe in violence to stop speech that they don’t like
… this isn’t just about Israel. Or America.
Colleges have normalized degrees of extremism on campus that reflect something like the Weathermen and Al Qaeda wrapped in a bow.
Sizable percentages of college students support violence and totalitarian movements. So why be shocked that a mere 18% support Hamas? That’s less than half the rating for an ideology responsible for killing some 100 million people.
We have a problem here and the problem is runaway leftist extremism that has been allowed to take over college campuses. Higher education has become a terrorist training camp and we need to treat it accordingly.

They must be challenged academically. They must relate the sources of their viewpoints. In writing as in a formal paper. The process may help the student how to think logically.

Every college student should be required to read the book: Atlas Shrugged. It is written by a woman who immigrated from Russia. She was devoutly anti-socialism, anti-union, and anti religion. I first read the book in the early 70s and thought this could happen. I reread the book about 8 years later rand said this is happening and tried to read the book a few years after that and decided what’s the point. All these college kids that want socialism think that they will be in charge, but they won’t. They will be digging in garbage cans for food along with the homeless today.

I would recommend reading her novels in the following order: Anthem, The Fountainhead and then Atlas Shrug. She also wrote an autobiographical novel, We the Living, which was her first. She then shifted to nonfiction, which I cannot really comment on; I read only two. And I read none of her plays. I was heavily into Ayn Rand’s and Leonard Peikoff’s works back in college. Ayn Rand designated Leonard Peikoff to administer her estate and carry on her legacy after her death.
Ayn Rand’s philosophy of objectivism and individualism is a good start, but it does need some governmental regulation when economies get scaled up. Capitalism assumes that consumers and suppliers have perfect information. Obviously that is not the case.
So, in my opinion, an FDA or similar institution is required to ensure that only safe and effective drugs and foods are brought to market. It does not necessarily have to be government run and it should be much smaller than it is as it exists today, and it should be free of the conflicts of interest currently present.
Underwriters’Laboratories and Factory Mutual are private entities that make standards concerning the safety of various products, and their standards are enforced by the insurance companies. Private Codes and private enforcement is best, but it is not practical in all circumstances.
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers has a Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code that needs government enforcement to prevent explosions. Fire codes and building codes need government enforcement, etc. with that caveat, a slightly regulated capitalistic system works best.

“Anthem” is probably my favorite book of Rand’s. And yes–her nonfiction is important, as well.

Just wondering how the numbers would break down if they were college specific.
E.g., Stanford University versus Hillsdale College.

That statistic reveals the stealth jihadists have infiltrated many colleges across and United States , They with their Islamic disinformation have obviously made a mental impact on many impressionable young people in such institutions “higher education”.
Those stealth jihadists Muslims who are active in such colleges are ,most likely , supported by funds from oil rich Islamic cations , as Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

I believe the genesis of this ultra left and anti American and anti Semitic movement comes from the start of college programs that focused on ethnicity rather than academics. It was in the 1960s in the San Francisco Bay Area.
It will take a loooonnng time to recover many who were indoctrinated – and cost much for at least a generation.

Our enemy today dates back to the later 1960s. Over the years they haven’t changed but they have become more bold. That is because our side never thought it necessary to say no so they went along getting everything they wanted. But now, for the first time in my long life, I see our side fighting back, finally.
From our history, losing, something that I wont accept. I dont think we have clanged that much throughout time.

So lets not sit by, instead, lets take control and dominate our enemies wherever they are.

Higher education in America has been bought by Islamic countries with billions of dollars “donated” to our schools. Those dollars buy control and the infiltration and propaganda of islam.

It’s sad and even tragic that those naïve and brainwashed young college and university students who are non–Muslims Americans, who are taking part in this Red/Green alliance, throughout the United States, who are protesting against the State of Israel and who likewise greatly favor Hamas are people who are ,rightly , described ,as the “useful idiots” of the leaders of Hamas and their jihadist members who are dedicated to the cause of conquest for the cause of Islam.
Those Americans who aren’t Muslims the stooges of those Hamas chefs and the other Muslim terrorist, For those of Hamas view all people who are not Muslims as inferior creatures to them and refer to them .
Behind their backs as , “Kafirs,” which is the Islamic derogatory term for “disbelievers.”
It’s tragic that those non-Muslims pro-Hamas America protesters against Israel are so very deluded by Hamas that this Islamic terror / murder organization so easily manipulates and uses them as their tools.
Those poor young people are ,truly, their useful idiots.
In addition, useful idiots those left -wing anti- Israel protester truly are. For example, a Newsmax reporter walked over to one of those “student protesters” who was holding a sign that read “From the River to the Sea” and asked her “What river ?” and she replied “I don’t know.” Then the reporter asked her “Which sea ?” To that question, she answered, “I don’t know.”

It appears to me that these 1 out of 5 are an existential threat to me and my family and therefore I am disinterested in their motives and narratives and only desire their neutralization. Focusing on their narratives would be a distraction from the pressing need for their neutralization.
