U.S. dollar now worth 2 million Iranian rials.
No, that’s not a misprint.
Iran’s jihadist leaders keep declaring victory (and the media keeps declaring victory on their behalf) while their currency is approaching Venezuelan or Zimbabwean levels of viability.
For the first time in history, the US dollar has reached 2 million rials as the Iranian currency depreciates in the face of war.
Last week, the dollar was trading at 1.865 million rial, meaning this week’s valuation is a nearly 7% fall in value.
Iran’s economy, which is based on oil and taking hostages (and that last part really only paid off under Obama and Carter) hasn’t been great in a while, but a few years ago the Rial was at 42,000 or so to the dollar and now it’s reaching absurd levels.
That financial meltdown is a reflection of bigger problems.
Inflation has soared above 80%, with prices for certain food staples up 100%. The currency, which triggered nationwide protests late last year after it collapsed, has lost a further 30% of its value this year.
The International Monetary Fund said in April Iran’s economy will shrink 6.1% this year, the worst contraction in decades. And a labor ministry official estimated that more than 1 million jobs had been lost by late May.
Iran’s central bank governor, admitted on state TV this week that the U.S. blockade has prevented Iran from selling it oil, a top source of revenue for the regime. “It is a reality that we are not exporting oil,” Abdolnaser Hemmati said. “The Americans have frozen our foreign exchange reserves and do not allow us to access them.”
Of course this only matters so much to the IRGC and its terror bands who have the guns and are therefore actually in power. But fortunately for Iran they have major assets inside the United States of America, like our media and the entire political party that comes with it, which has been working hard to undermine the blockade.
It may be 2 million rials to the dollar, but it’s a thousand traitors to the dollar.

At least Chamberlain after March of 1939, six months after the massive stupidity at Munich, finally realized his error and proceeded accordingly, but till to this day neither the Democratic Party of America nor the Western media have realized their error where assessing Iran and all of the Islamic world is concerned.

The democrat party/media. The vendetta against Trump (Republican) is nothing new. We know from history how far democrats are willing to go when a Republican is President. In 1860 a Republican was elected President (Lincoln) and democrats started a Civil War which led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans. In 2016 a Republican was elected President (Trump) and to stop him in 2020 they unleashed Covid which led to the deaths of over a million Americans and the destruction of the economy as well as many lives. Many of us also saw the same behavior starting in 1980 with the election of a Republican (Ronald Reagan). The years, decades, centuries, roll on, but the democrats mode of operation never changes. The only thing that changes is the stakes grow higher. Now in 2026 democrats are attempting to foist a soviet style of government on us. How far will democrats go? Talking about Venezuelan or Zimbabwean (or Uzbek – the other legendarily low) currency, I have a currency converter on my phone. As per that:
1 🇻🇪 = 1,754 🇮🇷
1 🇺🇿 = 116 🇮🇷
1 🇿🇼 = 4268 🇮🇷
All those media people who think that the islamic republic is winning this war – here is a suggestion of what to do w/ them:
1. Take all their 💵 and convert it into islamic republican Rial (or Tomans), and give it to them
2. Just land them in different major Iranian cities – Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Tabriz,….
3. Let them try buying things like fuel, food or other daily necessities.
Due to this collapse of the Rial, prices are so volatile that nobody knows what the price of groceries will be tomorrow. And it’s not like one can (as I do) buy groceries in bulk & store them in a freezer. Due to not just the fuel crisis but also the power crisis, this last is not an option. First of all, those fridges would be out, due to the lack of power. Also, the ambiient daytime temperatures are 100°F everywhere: it’s not Alaska, so just keeping them outside and hoping to cook it later is not an option. Also, the average Iranians have stopped making long term plans and just living in the moment. It’s pathetic when they have no hope, and live every day like it is their last
Hopefully, Operation Economic Outcast forces their regime to implode, so that Iranians can have a transition regime and start changing things for the better
