Despite its name, many members of the Green Party in the UK appear much more interested in destroying the Jewish state and all the “Zionists” who support it both in Israel and in Great Britain than they are in ameliorating the climate crisis. Now Green Party members have been revealed as having exchanged messages on WhatsApp about “killing Zionists.” More on this homicidal theme is discussed here: “UK Green Party members discussed ‘killing Zionists’ in leaked WhatsApp messages,” by Alex Carson, Jerusalem Post, August 18, 2026:
Leaked internal communications from a private WhatsApp group used by UK Green Party members featured discussions regarding “killing Zionists” and descriptions of British Jews as a “weapon” for Israel, according to a report published by The Times.
The chat group, named Greens Against Imperialism, was established by Sophus Magill, a Green Party parish councilor in Wootton Bridge on the Isle of Wight. During an online exchange in July, Magill wrote that “Zionism has to go, it’s ultimately an apartheidal, ethnosupremacist ideology [sic].”
When another member of the group asked what that meant in practical terms, Magill replied, “That it needs to go. The only solution is one equal state.” Prompted further by a member of the group who asked if that meant wanting Israel “wiped off the map, in essence,” Magill responded, “Yes, I would like that,” and added later in the conversation, “I don’t think it’s violent to want an illegitimate apartheid state gone from all maps, like Rhodesia.”
Magill also stated in the WhatsApp group, “Obviously I believe Israeli citizens who are not war criminals and who agree to peacefully coexist with Palestinians have a right to live in Palestine, as everyone should have the right to live wherever they want in the world so long as they are not a threat to the safety of others.”
In addition to being an antisemite, Magill is also a no-borders kind of guy — though he chooses to live on a posh island in the Channel where the Muslim migrants are thin, or possibly nonexistent, on the ground.
The WhatsApp group, which members and activists used to coordinate party campaigning, conference motions, and foreign policy discussions, also contained remarks targeting British Jews.
In June, another member of the WhatsApp group wrote, “I think a lot of British Jews have been heavily exposed to the propaganda. It’s a common thing for them to go stay in Israel for a while before going to university … I remember a lot of my dad’s students did it. It’s unfortunate, but British Jews are a brilliant weapon for the Israeli state to help with the use of antisemitism as a justification in the UK, one of their strong allies.”allies.”
Oh dear. British Jews — except for the kind that join the Green Party — don’t just support Israel. They are also a “brilliant weapon for the Israeli state” who claim that antisemitism in the UK justifies the existence of the Jewish state. Goodness, where do those pesky Jews get the idea that there is any threat of antisemitism in the UK?
Additional messages captured in the leak included comments from an account using the initials “AT” within the WhatsApp group, which The Times noted had previously been identified as Ashley Tubb in a report by the Jewish Chronicle on opposition to banning Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Tubb had stood for election to the Green Party’s campaigns committee. In June, Tubb described Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the WhatsApp group as “by definition part of a national liberation movement,” and wrote that “they liberated themselves from a US puppet regime of the Shah in 1979” and claimed that recent protests against the Iranian regime “were instigated and armed by the Americans and the Zionists.”…
Five million Iranians turned out across the country to protest the Iranian regime. Thirty to forty thousand of them were murdered by the Basiji on January 8 and 9. But here is Ashley Tubb insisting that those brave protesters were not acting against the regime on their own, but were mere puppets in the hands of the “Americans and the Zionists.”
A spokesperson for the Board of Deputies of British Jews responded to news of the group messages, in a statement to The Jerusalem Post, saying, “When members of a mainstream political party can reportedly discuss the killing of ‘Zionists’, rationalise hostility towards Jews, and fantasise about Israel’s destruction, the danger is not theoretical. Such rhetoric lowers the threshold for intimidation and violence against Jews in Britain. The Green Party must suspend those involved now, investigate urgently, and expel anyone found to have advocated violence or antisemitic hatred.”
But of course it won’t. And that’s why the British Board of Deputies should bring a suit for group defamation, and the British government should prosecute the Green Party members involved in stirring up homicidal hate. Under the Public Order Act 1986, it is a criminal offense in the UK to use threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behavior with the intent — or in circumstances where it is likely — to stir up racial hatred or religious hatred. So, all you former yeshiva bochers who then took silk, go to it. Hammer and tongs.

These are generally “lost” people with no life plan. Since the wars started, they can’t get any traction with climate change so they give themselves another temporary purpose waving flags and falling for the most popular propaganda – usually spread by the media whose intent is to use information to influence.
I once worked in news media, beginning with the notion that I was helping citizens have the information to keep them free. Then I discovered every reporter had a bias for some pet idea with which to change society which came out in their “reporting”. Often it would get by the editors.

The “Green” in the Green Party may have been the environment back in the day. Today, it’s simply the color of islam. “Green Party” is the English version of “Jamaat e islami”

The Isle of Wight is more shabby genteel and economically depressed and not prosperous.
A similar breeding ground to parts of Germany in the 1920s and 1930s
