UN Stats Show Gaza As Well Fed as Germany and the UK

So why are Germany and the UK sending aid to Gaza instead of feeding their own people?

A new UNICEF survey shows that not only isn’t there a famine in Gaza, but the Hamas settlers of the terrorist enclave are some of the best fed in the Middle East.

The UNICEF-led survey rated ‘acute malnutrition’ among children under 5 years old in the Gaza Strip as being at 0.5%. As UN Watch noted, this compares to World Bank data showing a rate of 0.4% in the UK, 0.5% in Germany, 1.6% in Finland and 3.3% in Egypt.

What that means is that acute malnutrition is far worse across the border in Egypt, which  controlled Gaza between 1949 and 1967, than in the Gaza Strip. And acute child malnutrition, the subject of hoax photoshoots in the New York Times showing disabled children, is on par and sometimes better than some European nations including Germany and even the UK.

So why are Germany and the UK sending aid to Gaza instead of feeding their own people?

Within the context of the Middle East and the Muslim world, these are some of the lowest numbers placing Gaza in first place with a low 0.5% rate, ahead of Lebanon at 1.3%, Turkey at 1.6%, neighboring Jordan at 2.3%, Iraq at 3.0%, Afghanistan at 3.6% and Pakistan at 7.1%.

That stands to reason since massive amounts of spending continue to be expended on Gaza.

The UN’s World Food Programme, which helped manufacture and spread fake claims of famine while refusing to deliver food, is currently asking for $426 million to continue its operations.

The UNICEF-led survey also noted a 3.9% underweight rating among settler children in Gaza under 5 years old. This rating is on par with many other Middle Eastern and Muslim countries, including a 3.7% rating in neighboring Egypt, 5.1% in Lebanon, 3.5% in Saudi Arabia and a similar 3.9% in Iraq. These figures still place Gaza in the better fed percentage of Muslim countries when contrasted with Pakistan’s 23%, Afghanistan’s 18.4% and Indonesia’s 15.9%.

Finally, the UN-led survey shows a childhood obesity rate of 4% which is lower than usual compared to neighboring countries, but well above Pakistan’s 2.5%, Iran’s 2.9% and Oman’s 4.2%, and not that far below Libya’s 4.6% or Iraq’s 6.1%. And it certainly doesn’t imply a health crisis since it’s above Germany’s 3.3% and Germany certainly isn’t starving.

However the UN report argued that, “overweight is also present showing a dual burden of malnutrition in the population.” The “dual burden” being too little food and also too much food.

The UN admitted that 95% of its Gaza aid trucks were ‘intercepted’. The vast amounts of aid shipped to Gaza were diverted by Hamas and then sold at markets to subsidize its operations and prolong the war. An Israeli government report found that “between October 2025 and 7 June 2026, approximately 1.78 million tons of food entered the Gaza Strip.” And that “the volume of food entering Gaza vastly exceeded the assessed requirements” of the UN’s WFP “exceeding it by nearly threefold in aggregate.” No wonder that Gaza has been so overfed.

By last fall, Islamist propaganda sites were pushing claims of a ‘fatocide’, complaining that “They’re forcing us to gain weight” because the supermarkets have “shelves overflowing with chocolate, soft drinks, and cigarettes” and “flour and various types of cheese used in sweets and pizza, in addition to sugar and flour derivatives used in confectionery production.”

The latest UN data comes after the famine hoax, like the genocide hoax, had been widely disproven with both statistics and anecdotal social media videos showing supermarkets and restaurants in Gaza. USAID alone made off with over $2 billion in taxpayer money to save Gaza from a crisis that didn’t exist while propping up Islamist and Marxist war propaganda.

The UN profited so much from its famine hoax in Gaza that it tried to declare a famine in Afghanistan to prop up the Taliban and more recently is warning of a famine in Cuba to prop up its Communist dictatorship and expand its network of Islamist and Marxist welfare states.

While the UN, the media and assorted activists cried over a famine that didn’t exist in Gaza, they neglected countries with genuine problems. Gaza has an acute malnutrition rate of only 0.5% while Papua New Guinea has a rate of 14.1%. Gaza’s Muslim occupiers have an underweight rate of only 3.9% while the rate is at 27.8% in Papua New Guinea.

The WFP operates all over Gaza, but doesn’t even bother to keep a permanent office in Papua New Guinea.

The UN organization has demanded $2.75 billion for ‘Palestine’ since the Oct 7 attacks, but has spent only $54 million on the Pacific Island countries across multiple years and the last example of dedicated spending on Papua New Guinea I could find was $1 million a decade ago.

While billions of dollars were lavished on a famine hoax in an Islamic terror statelet, countries with actual food shortages were abandoned by the United Nations, activists and the media.

A report in June 2026 found that in Papua New Guinea, “nearly 47.6% of children under the age of five suffer from chronic stunting due to long-term nutritional deficiencies—more than double the global average.” It’s a fraction of that in Gaza, but the Islamist terror statelet and its Hamas masters have been barraged with endless aid, while places where children genuinely go hungry continue to be neglected unless that hunger can be weaponized for an extremist political agenda.

Gaza is one of the best fed places in the Middle East. But food was always just another propaganda weapon. And no matter how much food there is, it will remain that way.

Despite the latest numbers, the UN’s WFP is claiming that it needs $426 million because an  “estimated 900,000 people are food insecure, and one third of families cannot afford a nutritious diet” in Gaza. How many Americans can afford a “nutritious diet”? Nearly 50 million can’t. And nearly 42 million Europeans can’t. According to the WFP, 3.1 billion can’t afford it worldwide.

Yet all the money is going to help Islamic terrorists who want to kill us get a “nutritious diet.”
