Home Office Minister Anna Turley’s approach is to tell the taxpaying public how fortunate they are that illegals (mostly Muslims from Africa and the Middle East) will be housed in barracks instead of in costly taxpayer-funded hotels, a sickening practice that Labour says it will phase out by by 2029, two and a half years from now.
In Scotland eight months ago, hundreds of illegal migrant men were moved into barracks, despite fears for the safety of British Army families. The British government doesn’t care about its people.
Illegal migrants should be deported. And military and police authorities should be sent out to prevent invasion. Instead, illegals are given better treatment than British citizens.

And what will the UK eventually do with those once high-star hotels, rebuild or tear down? We saw this story play out in the US with, “The Projects”. Almost nobody takes care of free or subsidized housing. A few of these hotels are likely to be burned down by (tenants?) before being withdrawn.

I visited England in the late 60s, and I loved it. I doubt I would really recognize it if I went back today.
That this could happen to England is actually shocking to me. I thought they had better sense and a stiffer upper lip, so to speak.
Then again, they, just like us, have been invaded by the delusional thoughts and ideology of socialists/communists, whose main point right now is to cause chaos and then move in for the complete takeover.
Here in the U.S. we have one big advantage. We still have our 2nd amendment, at least for the most part.

I second that. I lived in Wales from 1969 to 1976, and loved it there (granted, I was just b/w 1 and 7). Left it in 1976 and never returned. Three years back, while on a flight to Singapore, London was one of my stoppage points, and when I was at Heathrow, I didn’t think I was in London: I thought I was in Lahore. Most of the people at the airport seemed to be muslims of one nationality or another: it was like I was heading towards an OIC conference. Also, the restaurants: only one was English – the Perfectionists’ pub & cafe. Oh, and the electronics store where I bought a British plug to charge my phone – that one too, where an Englishman sold me the perfect setup for what I needed: turned out to be useful in Singapore as well

This exposes the unlimited stupidity of these politicians. The housing is not so they can avoid deportation as an illegal migrant, but to deport them ASAP after a few days and make space for more illegal Muslim trojan horses. They are just gas lighting the citizens that something is being solved by building more housing which is the opposite of deporting. The tragedy is that citizens will go right back and vote for the same people facilitating the illegal Muslim migrants they complain about – grooming gang and all.

I was born in Scotland 1948,left the UK for good in 1970 after a few years in England in the late 1960s, and I became a US Naturalized Citizen in 1998 when I lived in Tucson Arizona and so I was a Dual Citizen since then but recently I noticed my UK Passport will expire in Oct 2026 and I just threw it under my bed where other such rubbish has gathered that I haven’t got around to throwing out..
Im a PROUD American Citizen as America gave me everything I have and made me the man I am today, whereas Scotland or the UK gave me nothing whatsoever as I finished school at 14 years and six months in a Glasgow slum.
