“I’m the Prime Minister of Spain. This Is Why the West Needs Migrants.”
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez of Spain made headlines by proposing to legalize 500,000 migrants. He bragged in a New York Times op-ed headlined, “I’m the Prime Minister of Spain. This Is Why the West Needs Migrants” that “MAGA-style leaders may say that our country can’t handle taking in so many migrants—that this is a suicidal move, the desperate act of a collapsing country. But don’t let them fool you. Spain is booming.”
As noted in my article, Spain received 1.2 million applications and the application window closed on June 30. In early, July, the Spanish Supreme Court ruled that migrants who arrived by sea could stay. Finally in late July, Sanchez infuriated Morocco by visiting Algeria and discussing its claim to the Western Sahara. Morocco did the same thing it had done in 2021 and it opened the border.
What happened is pretty obvious. Moroccan migrants have said that the authorities let them through or encouraged them to go through.
So we have one radical leftist European government welcoming migrants (until too many showed up all at once) while a Muslim country is happy enough to weaponize mass migration. It’s a familiar dynamic that we’ve seen over and over again.
But then everyone from Spanish actor Javier Bardem to former Human Rights Watch boss Kenneth Roth to Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson and Thomas Massie began blaming America and Israel. It’s obvious why most of these people want to do this. It’s less obvious why anyone would believe their 999th lie.
Their arguments for blaming the mass migrant invasion on America and Israel, rather than on Spain and Morocco, not to mention Islam, is that there are poor relations between Israel and Spain (of course this is also true for Israel and half of Europe, including France, Ireland, the Netherlands, all of whom also have Muslim migrant invasions because they keep welcoming in migrants) and because there were congressional discussions about resolving the claims to the Spanish territory in North Africa that was invaded (which never went anywhere) and President Trump recognizing Morocco’s claim to the Western Sahara.
The obvious question is… so what?
When a government decides to invite a mass migrant invasion, that’s not a conspiracy, it’s an inside job. PM Sanchez was doing a world tour arguing for more migrants.
European leftists don’t need a reason to invite more migrants and Muslim migrants don’t need that much encouragement.
The conspiracy theories want to turn PM Sanchez into a victim of some Trump-Netanyahu plot rather than a radical facing the consequences of his politics.

That mindset is one of the psychopath. Do something; it turns out wrong; and others must be blamed for the result.

It states that the committee “notes that the Spanish-administered cities of Ceuta and Melilla are located in Moroccan territory and remain the subject of Morocco’s longstanding claim.” It then declares support for the Secretary of State’s efforts “to encourage diplomatic engagement between Morocco and Spain on the future status of Ceuta and Melilla.”
Did we green-light the invasion in retaliation for Spain’s refusal to allow USA to use their Rota and Moron bases to conduct Iranian military operations? It’s not fsr-fetched.
And, Moroccan did just name a major highway after PDJT.

What did he think would happen when he pulled a Biden and invited mass migration and amnesty to illegal aliens living in Spain?
