Should the Royal Navy Be Deployed to Stop Migrants in the Channel?

The Reform Party that Nigel Farage heads promises that if it comes to power in the next UK election — which looks ever more likely to happen if it forms a coalition government with Restore Britain, a new party that Rupert Lowe heads, that is an even more anti-Muslim immigrant party than Farage’s Reform — it will deploy ships of the Royal Navy to intercept migrant smuggling boats in the Channel and send them back to France, where the French anti-immigrant party, the National Rally, also now leading in the polls, intends to send them back at once to their countries of origin. Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party has vowed to deploy the Royal Navy to the English Channel to prevent illegal migrants from reaching British shores.

Announcing what the party claims would be the largest military operation in the Channel since the end of the Second World War, Reform said that if given power, it would enact a naval blockade to make the waterway “impenetrable” to boat migrants and their people smuggler backers.

According to The Telegraph, “Operation Fortress” would see unauthorised boats detained by the Royal Navy, who would provide them with food and water before escorting them back to the French coastline.

The party said that the recent scenes at the Spanish exclave of Ceuta, in which some 60,000 illegals flooded across its border with Morocco in just one day last week, demonstrated the urgency for Britain to take control of its borders.

In a press conference on Monday morning, Mr Farage said that the plan is necessary given that many of the “young males of fighting age” who cross the English Channel illegally “wish us harm or do us harm”.

He doesn’t use the word “Muslim,” but everyone knows which migrants he is talking about — the people who despise the indigenous peoples of the British isles as being, like all Infidels, “the most vile of created beings,” and have every inention of living off the welfare benefits the generous Briitish state provides, but no intention of integrating into the larger society.

Operation Fortress will be a combined military operation; it will save lives, it will help the French in fulfilling their job of stopping the boats, and it will save a huge amount of money.

When Farage mentions that stopping these would-be migrants will “save a huge amount of money” he means the gigantic amounts that the government now spends on the many benefits that are lavished on migrants, including free or greatly subsidized housing, free medical care provided by the NHS, free education including language tuition, family allowances, and money for food and clothing. The British government currently spends tens of billions of pounds to support Muslim economic migrants. Farage is hoping the Royal Navy will help staunch that wound to the nation’s Exchequer.

“And when you think about it, what is the Royal Navy for? If the Royal Navy is not there to protect this country from invasion, then frankly I can’t see what its purpose is.”

Now the word “invasion” is being used forthrightly by Farage, and by other British politicians, including Rupert Lowe of Restore a Britain and Laurence Fox of the Reclaim Party. it is used more often whenever European anti-immigrant politicians speak of the millions of Muslims now in their midst. This is an important semantic victory, as the frequent appearance of that word helps fashion the views of millions who no longer harbor any illusions that this mass immigration is positive but, rather, see it as cause for alarm as a veritable “invasion.”

The National Rally, the anti-Muslim immigrant party in France that Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella head, is certain to come out ahead in the next parliamentary election, and the new French government, led by that party, will arrest the migrant smugglers who the Royal Navy will prevent from landing in the UK, and at the same time will return their human cargo back to their countries of origin.

“Operation Fortress” will come to pass if the three anti-Muslim immigrant parties — Farage’s Reform, Rupert Lowe’s Restore Britain, and Laurence Fox’s Reclaim Britain — can agree on forming a coalition government. That should not be hard.

The Royal Navy once sailed the seven seas, girdling the globe to defend the Empire. Now it will be defending the homeland from Muslim invaders. Some said it would not come to this. They see that they were wrong.
