The antisemitic conspiracy theorists are having a field day, blaming Israel for orchestrating the invasion of Ceuta by 60,000 Moroccan Muslims. This not only looks ridiculous; it is ridiculous. Why would Israel want to increase the Muslim population of Spain or, more broadly, Europe? These Muslim migrants bring with them, undeclared in their mental baggage, the virus of extreme antisemitism, which spreads ever farther across Europe, and their presence has helped make the Continent more dangerous for European Jewry.
More on this latest antisemitic conspiracy theory can be found here: “From Javier Bardem to Candace Owens, How a Ceuta Border Crisis Became a 100 Million-View Israel Conspiracy Overnight,” by Debbie Weiss, Algemeiner, August 3, 2026:
False claims that Israel orchestrated the migrant crisis in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta were viewed more than 100 million times on X in just 72 hours, according to a new report, with prominent figures including Oscar-winning actor Javier Bardem and commentator and provocateur Candace Owens among those amplifying the conspiracy.
Researchers from the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) analyzed 173 high-impact posts from 119 influencer accounts, which generated 57.5 million views and 368,400 shares. Reposts outnumbered comments by more than seven to one, suggesting users overwhelmingly shared the allegations rather than questioning them.
“Israel, and the Western far right eager to turn migration into a weapon against Muslims,” read a post shared by Bardem, who is Spanish, on Instagram. It was one of several posts shared by the actor pointing a finger at Israel over the crisis, which saw some 60,000 migrants enter Ceuta from Morocco over two days – equivalent to roughly 70% of the enclave’s population – with at least 72 people dying in the breach….
60,000 migrants, impelled by nothing more sinister than a desire to improve their economic lot, moved overnight into the Spanish exclave of Ceuta. That is too simple for Bardem’s conspiratorial mind. It can’t be Morocco that is behind the move, even though in the past Morocco has done exactly that — encouraged Moroccans to move to Ceuta as a way to put pressure on Spain not to improve its ties to Morocco’s rival, Algeria.
The post claiming that Javier Bardem was the first to uncover the “Israeli plot” to persuade Moroccans to invade Ceuta deeply impressed such unsavory characters as the porn actress-turned-political commentator Mia Khalifa. None of these people stop to consider why Israel would want such a development, which would inexorably increase the Muslim presence, and therefore Muslim political power, in Spain.
Other examples were more overtly conspiratorial. A post from an account called “Forbidden HQ,” viewed 5.3 million times, used an image of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with migrants streaming from his mouth onto a Spanish beach. Antisemitic mega-influencer Dan Bilzerian falsely claimed Netanyahu had warned Spain it would pay “the ultimate price” for criticizing Israel, drawing 2.7 million views.
Netanyahu never gave such a warning to Spain. Nor did any other Israeli political leader.
An account styling itself “China Times,” despite having no connection to a Chinese news organization, went further, asserting that Israel had effectively confessed to using Mossad to trigger the influx. The supposed proof came from a clearly labeled parody account, yet the post was retweeted 11,000 times and received just 786 comments. On the far left, Palestinian-American author Susan Abulhawa told followers the crossing had been “completely engineered by the US, Israel, and Morocco” to force Spain back into line with “western imperial objectives.”…
How would 60,000 Moroccans in Ceuta cause Spain to become more submissive to American and Israeli demands? Susan Abulhawa doesn’t say.
The only “conspiracy” in this whole affair is that of the Moroccan Muslims who decided to invade Ceuta en masse, overwhelming the border guards on both sides, and then, they hoped, to make it to the Spanish mainland, where they believed they would benefit from Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’ new policy to “regularize” a half-million illegal migrants. The most important contributor to their move was none other than Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. But the conspiracy theorists want nothing to do with reality. They are determined to find a Jewish plot behind every crisis in Europe.
One postscript: Javier Bardem was first propelled into stardom by his role in the Coen Brothers’ movie No Country For Old Men. I hope they have been following his conspiratorial posts that blame the Jewish state for all and sundry, and will refrain from hiring him again.

Proving again that both Islam and Leftism, also a limited amount of foolish dhimmi people on the Right like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens, invoke and utilize both emotion and ignorance over reason and accurate knowledge.
And when emotion and ignorance replace reason and knowledge, as they so often do, nothing good ever comes of it. Such as here with the “Ceuta mess” and serving as yet one more example of what will occur when the base element of man is elevated above, a la Abraham Lincoln, “the better angels of our nature.”

Bardem is a mediocre actor. Canned Ass Know Nuthins is just a dim witted tool. She may not even know how to spell provocateur; much let us know what it means The number of reposts and views is disheartening, but hardly surprising we live in a world. We’re ignorance is the best friend of the left. Israel making any effort to increase the moose slime presence anywhere in Europe, would be so antithetical to their best interest, has to be a joke. And the only people who could possibly believe this garbage are those completely in thrall of aholes like Schmucker Carlson, Canned Ass and the latest round of loser politicos like Man Dummy, Hosehead Piker and the Dumbo Craps senatorial candidate in Michigan. The truth is, the majority of people, and in particular those smart enough to know the difference, don’t waste their time on bullshit social media. When Mike Rogers is elected to the Senate in November, we hear a great new and cry about Islamophobia. Which is, of course, nonsense because a phobia is an unnatural fear. And there is plenty to be fearful of when it comes to this moon God, worshiping call of people who fornicate with goats.

The first Islamic invasion of Spain around the year 1100 had nothing to do with the Jews also .He puled a Biden like move of 2021 and invited the invasion at Spain’s border ,Just like Germany did in 2015 by Merkel’s policy in” yes we can”, takes in millions of miltary age jihadist and think they will love native Germans because of a good welfare system .-

There was a news item last evening about some of the muzzlims who had been turned back, were getting ready to move in again.
They are motivating each other, encouraging each other, they don’t need outside motivation and wouldn’t take it from the Jews….even if the Jews wanted such a thing.
Many people believe, in large part, what they want to believe. So many these days want to believe the lies.
No amount of evidence will cause these ones to put off the lies and accept the Truth.
muzzlims want to take over the world. they are invading and inserting themselves into he places where they have not been or have been a small minority for decades.
“Small minority.” That phrase isn’t used so often these days to hide the Truth; but so many other lies are still in use and seem to grow.
Bexarkat says
How silly, but with 100 million views, be sure that more than half will believe it, including some of Candy Owens’ and Tucker’s sycophants.

This made me want to comment. Yes, I was wondering why everyone in Australia is saying this as those videos began to come on the internet. My coworkers were saying Israel orchestrated this invasion to punish Spain. But I didn’t take it seriously until I realized this was the majority opinion.
I don’t quite understand how this Israel could have done such a thing. They are not in control of the borders of these nations. I’m confused on this part. But one person argued Israel has control of Morocco. I don’t know about that. I have just seen everything being blamed on Israel. Including the Venezuela war, did any of you happen to catch that one? Other events I can not remember at the moment.
Some of us on the right wing support for Israel is still very strong here. I support their defense against Gaza. What were they supposed to do? But this war caused all this false propaganda in Australia. We also have Muslims but not many westerners know this fact. You all should read a little about what the Jewish community went through here not long ago. I don’t want to write it. It’s hard to believe it happened so close.
I saw a report 2025 was the deadliest year for anti semitic attacks in 40 years outside of Israel. These sort of stories, fake news, only are meant to inflame hatred and it is only to benefit the enemies of Israel. There is no benefit to you or your western country.
gravenimage says
Luke–with respect–your idea that antisemitsm did not exist before Israel defended her people against the Jihad terror attacks of 10/7 by Hamas is mistaken.
And your idea that this outpouring of antisemitism has not resulted in antisemitic attacks and that this is all “fake news” is absurd. Most of these attacks against Jews have been well chronicled. And the claim that daring to report that Jews have suffered violence somehow just benefits the enemies of Israel makes no sense. It is *always* better to know the truth,
Luke says
I am not the most informed on Israel Palestine. I know some things, but I heard of this what you disagree with from Antony Loewenstein, an Israeli-Australian journalist. I would assume he would have the best interests of the country at heart and understands the nuances of what his people are experiencing.
It makes some sense about some of the things he says. This war brought trouble to Australia. I think personally we rewarded the attack with recognition for Palestine. That’s what I saw. So what precedent does this set? Would not other rebels somewhere, or terrorists look for recognition from the west with an attack on a nation state?
A lot of white real Australians still do support Israel. What has happened is many foreigners arrived here with their own view on this conflict, and the white people were overwhelmed by these people. Even India, China, Middle East, when they came, they have pro Palestinian brainwashing form back home. Rest assured, many people just support silently. It’s more than the news presents as factual.
gravenimage says
Luke, unless you are about 15 and have no interest in history, it is hard to believe that you assume that Israel has never been attacked by Muslims before 7/10.
Then, I can see nowhere that Antony Loewenstein has made such claims. Citations, please.
And the idea that Muslims murdering Jews on 7/10 then meant that Muslims had to murder Jews in Australia makes no sense.
And that demand that Israelis do nothing to defend themselves against Jihadists kidnapping, raping, and murdering their people is appalling.

Our regime here is different. You could easily lose your career if you say the wrong word to a Muslim. You may even be blacklisted. There are certain difficult topics you can discuss and others you cannot.
You can now discuss Israel negatively but I would not touch Muslims at work. The women here are very touchy with this Israel Gaza situation. Many of them follow the leftist code of conduct down to the tee. Muslims, Palestine, LGBT aborigines etc etc etc. you touch one of those, you may have trouble with HR. These women are like spies for some phantom organization of I don’t know what. And Palestine is right now, their number one priority. Just like Black Lives Matter was there a few years ago, Palestine is very very protected and powerful here. These groups pressured the government to recognize Palestine.

Luke, if you won’t speak now, how will you speak if things get even worse? Of course, you will not–but just contiue to submit.

Hello. I do understand what you are trying to say . You Americans are too cut off from the rest I of the world to understand. Even in a place like Germany, the boundaries are different from what they are in England, or more so in America.
It just depends really. If you are working in construction, I am sure they could speak about such things. But the more up the economic ladder you go, it is more liberal, more sensitive. The climate changes and it will ease up again I believe.
Also it’s important to know who is running HR. The girls coming out into the job market last 7-8 years, they are a different breed and they’re climbing that ladder into higher level jobs. They are coming with a very aggressive, very liberal attitude. It’s a swamp where I am. It’s pretty political here to be honest with you. It is odd as hell. Women have Palestine stickers, and the updated LGBT stickers on the other side on their 150 thousand dollar Land Rover.
Women are stupid. 90 percent shouldn’t be here. I probably wouldn’t get fired but it would change things for the worse and we can’t risk it right now. We just purchased our first home recently, and we don’t have much left right now. Australia looks real foolish right now and I blame women and migrants.
gravenimage says
It is the same across the West that apologia for Islam is sadly rife. It is the same whre I live. But I say again that if you will not speak now, I suppose you will be even less inclined to say anything when things get worse.
And your idea that women have only been in the job market for the past 7-8 years is just mistaken. I began working as a preteen in the 1970s.
And the idea that you have to be silent about Islam because “women are stupid” is bizarre. There are clueless male *and* female dhimmis.
Yes, there are incompetent women, no doubt–but you think that *90%* should not be employed outside the home?
In that case, perhaps you say nothing critical about Islam because you are in agreement with it?
“Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
The Prophet said, “Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?” The women said, “Yes.” He said, “This is because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind.”

thank you, Raja. I was replying to Luke, above. But I believe it’s important not to leave out any nation which is dealing….and perhaps reeling….with terror from islime.
It certainly goes back, way beyond the time of the nation of Israel. Way back to the Garden of Eden when the angel decided he could be “like God” and be worshipped by humans. Promising Eve way more than he could ever deliver; and he’s still at the same evil things today.
Australia is one of the many places where his human children are very active, very vicious. and making great strides in taking over society.

Luke, the terrorists are at war with the non-islamic world and within. They whip up frenzy and propaganda to “convince” their flock that they are in the path of victory for “their god”. Don’t expect rational thought from people stupid enough to believe such conspiracy theories. Which unfortunately now seems to be a majority of people worldwide. Groupthink is the easiest thing for people to engage in
A few Israelis online have pointed out Madrid’s hypocrisy in condemning Israeli occupation of Judea and Samaria, which is at the heart of Jewish history and culture, while clinging on to outposts on the Moroccan coast that aren’t. They’re not endorsing the idea of these territories getting ceded to Morocco: they’re just pointing out the double standards of the Spaniards who support Madrid’s stance on this issue

Why on earth do people listen to pontificating actors ?
What qualifies them ? Most of them, always of the Left, are mainly doing it to boost their name & popularity.
In any case, acting is a hugely over rated profession, though actors always want us to believe otherwise. That it’s a wonderful, breathtaking skill.
Of course, it isn’t. Get real. Most people can act. We do it all the time.
