After a Lebanese Muslim attacked a Pride rally in Berlin, one of the largest such gatherings in Europe, ramming his van into the crowd, killing one and wounding 29, some of them critically, while crying “Allahu akbar” (our Muslim god is greater than yours), and then emerged from his van swinging a machete, before being shot by the police, there was no condemnation of Islam from homosexual groups.
And ever since homosexuals, flying the vibgyoric flag (in hoc signo), have been falling all over themselves defending, rather than blaming, the ideology of Islam. It’s quite a feat. Across most of the Muslim world, being gay is not a picnic. In Afghanistan, the Taliban imposes the death penalty on anyone convicted of same-sex relations, including public stonings.
Saudi Arabia and Iran have also executed large numbers of gay people in recent years, including by public stoning – while several other countries, among them tourist favourites such as Egypt, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, all keep the death penalty for homosexuality on their statute books.
When Isis controlled parts of Iraq and Syria during the 2010s, the authorities murdered gay men by throwing them off tall buildings. In Gaza, today, Hamas tortures and executes gay people for ‘moral violations’. (Yet Israel, anathema to many Left-wingers, hosts some of the largest and safest gay pride parades in the world.)
Predictably, many Muslims who now live in Europe remain implacably opposed to homosexuality. A 2016 poll of British Muslims found 52 per cent believed it should be illegal in Britain.
Such prejudices can spiral into murder. In 2022, two people were killed and 21 wounded in a mass shooting at a Pride event in Oslo, Norway, by an Isis terrorist screaming ‘Allahu akbar’….
And let’s not forget the Muslim terrorist who attacked the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, a place where the clientele was homosexual.
Finally there’s ‘Queers for Palestine’, the surprisingly large movement of far-Left activists – not all of whom are gay – who support what they see as another ‘oppressed’ minority. As others have pointed out, ‘Queers for Palestine’ might as well be a sister group for ‘Turkeys for Christmas’.
But this isn’t a joke any more. Last weekend’s atrocity in Berlin should be the moment the ‘LGBTQ’ lobby, and the wider Left, recognise their true enemy: radical Islam, and the issues the West now faces having imported millions of people from distant lands who – to put it mildly – hold different opinions on sexual liberalism.

The only more absurd organization then Queers for Palestine would be Jews for Hitler. So why do they have such a group? Homosexuals like to be trendy and be in the forefront of fashion and whatever is considered “hot” by the “In” people. Being pro-Terrorist is the train that many people join because it is a movement vaulted by the media and Left wing which is close to gay political groups. Marching with pro-Israel groups is simply not fashionable and fashion is what it’s all about.
That wanting to be trendy has lead gays to back groups that want to destroy them physically, a very far reach. That Jews who are gay would march behind a Palestinian flag is even worse but I am sure it happens. Being “In Style” seems to choose the opposite of the basic human choice of self preservation. That shows how powerful Palestinian propaganda has co-opted peoples’ brains into supporting a ruthless, murderous bunch of Jew hating terrorists.
We need one of those man-in-the-street-interviews of a gay person carrying a Palestinian flag and asking him “Would you support a group that actively kills gay people?” He would likely answer in an angry tone “Of course not. How stupid do you think gay people are?”

The problem may be that gays are so socially insecure that they will follow the popular crowd for acceptance even if they have misgivings about their physical safety in doing it.
In the case of Israel and Gaza, the media frames it as a genocide to which gay leaders ignorantly react with support for Palestinians to show that they are “normal” and then other gays follow the leaders.
There is an interesting similarity: The Muslim fundamentalist says, “I love a martyr’s death more than life”, and the homosexual/transgender says, “I need acceptance more than life”.
The homosexuals don’t seem to understand that, even when Muslims are a minority, and homosexuals are marching/supporting the same Muslim cause, Muslims(Islam) have an agenda of non-acceptance/genocide upon them that will never change.

I suggest that triumphalist parades should be banned.
The paradigm for such an in-your-face hatred is the Orange Walk. I don’t know if it’s exercised in America but it certainly stalks the grey streets of Northern Ireland and other parts of Britain where it celebrates a centuries old battle signifying the triumph of one Christian denomination over another -the Protestant over the Catholic.
It should have been banned long ago.
If they want remember such a thing they could assemble in private. As such it is entirely inappropriate.
Do Americans march through the cities of the Southern States celebrating victory over the Confederates?
No. So it’s like that -there’s no debate given such an egregious example and it shows that some parades are just inappropriate and others are despicable displays of triumph of one part of society (too often an activist minority) over the rest.
So apart from this parade being a Parade of Fools can these Pride parades celebrating homosexuality (too much information) be regarded as triumphalism?
As with the Orange people the LGBTQ battle has been won long ago. Most people are bored with it all but they certainly don’t want to be hammered with Pride parades and Pride months. And they are not interested in public displays by people whose particular fascinations are, if legal, something they should keep to themselves. Ok you’re crazy about guys in fake police leather gear? Who cares? Keep it to yourselves. And why take over the streets? Why can’t they go and celebrate at some private venue. The war is over and it’s not us that’s out to get you.
Is a Pride parade a triumphalist affront to the rest of society?
I think so, but debating that is a luxury while the jihadists are firing at them. They may be innocent Fools-For-Palestine who may have a thing for leathermen but they don’t deserve to be murdered.
