“Herdsmen Kill at Least 31 Christians in Central Nigeria,” Morning Star News, August 14, 2026:
ABUJA, Nigeria (Christian Daily International–Morning Star News) – Fulani herdsmen have killed 16 Christians in Plateau state, Nigeria since Aug. 2, in addition to slaughters in two other states, sources said.
The armed herdsmen overran five predominantly Christian villages in the Riyom area southwest of Jos over the past two weeks, they said. On Tuesday (Aug. 12), herdsmen attacked Kyeng village at about 8:30 p.m. and Gwa-Wereng Rim at about 9:30 p.m., killing two Christians identified as Bulus Mwagwong and Stephen Dachollom Kaze, area resident Lyop Gabriel said.
“The Fulani herdsmen invaded the two communities, shooting residents,” Gabriel told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News. “In Dorong and Jol villages, the herdsmen set fire on houses and were shooting Christian residents they sighted. The attacks occurred as these Christians were sleeping in their houses.”
Dalyop Solomon Mwantiri, an attorney in Jos, described the attacks as “a disturbing threat to the lives, livelihoods and safety of Christian in rural communities.”

In Nigeria, those violent and vicious Muslims in their murderous persecution of Christians aren’t really going to get away with their destruction of Christians. As the apostle Paul had written each individual Christian is actually, in the View of God, a temple of God. For to Christians, it is written in the Bible “Don’t you know that that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s Temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.” First Corinthians 3:16,17. As in the days of Nehemiah when he and his men were busy in the reconstruction of the walls around Jerusalem and the Arab became furious and indigent at this at this grand project of the rebuilding of the walls. Neh 4:1 and they thus despised the Jews , Neh. 4:4 ,and schemed terrorist attacks against them.
So the Jewish men set up watch for such attacks, Neh 4:8, therefore, on this watch they set up guards to be ready for those terrorists attacks , Neh 4;16.
Likewise, in this twenty –first century in areas of the world, as the nations of Nigeria Pakistan , Iraq Syria , Indonesia,. The terrible fact is that Christians need to be “on watch and stand firm” First Corinthians 16:13.,as to be on guard from jihad-minded Muslim terrorist attacks against Christians .
For Christians together compose the symbolic body of Christ, Ephesians 1:13. 5:30.
Furthermore, it should be made known that the Muslim terrorists who engage in the persecution of Christians will not get away from the punishment of God for their wicked actions. As seen in Romans 14: 12. First Corinthians 3: 16, 17. Galatians 6:7.
Therefore, Christians are instructed to “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong” First Corinthians 16:13. [N.I.V.]
