The woman who has just been revealed to have been plotting to blow up the New York state Capitol building is named Jessica Bowie, a 35-year-old woman from Albany. Jessica Bowie is a convert to Islam who was determined to strike out at those whom she considered to be “enemies of Allah,” and so once again the question must be raised: What is it with converts to Islam? Why do so very many of them get involved in violence and terrorism?

Gee, what does the theology and laws of Islam say that some converts to Islam continue to believe they are commanded to commit acts of violence?
What do all of these devout converts, worldwide, have in common that tells them to act in such ways?
What exactly is it that inspires those devout Islamic converts to violence?
Perhaps U.S. authorities need to find out precisely what the theology and laws of Islam commands its follower to do in order to devoutly follow their “religion”. What exactly does Islam say?
Perhaps the U.S. authorities should read and study Islamic texts to see where devout Muslims get their devout Islamic ideas.
If only the U.S. authorities could get copies of those Islamic texts: the Quran, Hadith and the Sunna.
If only they had research staffers to help them.
