Adam Hamawy, who won the Democratic primary in New Jersey for the 12th Congressional district and will be going to Congress in January, passionately hates Israel and charges it with “genocide.” The military men who have studied how the IDF operates in Gaza have vigorously denied the charge of “genocide.” West Point Professor John Spencer, an expert on urban warfare, having watched the IDF up close, has concluded that Israel is applying more measures to minimize civilian casualties than any military in history. British Colonel Richard Kemp, who commanded the British forces in Afghanistan and is a veteran of a half-dozen wars, after repeated visits to Gaza, concluded in much the same way, declaring that “the IDF does more to safeguard the rights of civilians in a combat zone than any other army in the history of warfare.” That won’t change Adam Hamawy’s mind. His mind is made up, and hermetically sealed; please don’t confuse him with facts.
More on this latest virulent antisemite to go to Washington can be found here: “Democratic Congressional Nominee Adam Hamawy Says Comments Defending 9/11 Should Be Viewed ‘In Perspective,’” by Corey Walker, Algemeiner, July 30, 2026:
“We should not be funding foreign militaries or making arms sales to countries committing gross human rights violations,” his website states. “I support cutting off military aid to these countries, including Israel.”…
What are the “human rights violations” he claims Israel is committing? He doesn’t say. All he knows is that he wants to cut Israel off at the knees, depriving it of the American military aid that it needs to fight the four-front war that has been forced upon it by its enemies.
Earlier this month, Piker appeared as a featured speaker at the College Democrats of America national convention in Washington, DC, where he condemned Democrats who support funding for Israel. The organization’s Jewish Caucus later demanded an apology, saying his appearance sent Jewish students the message that they were unwelcome.
The episode also reflects the growing acceptance within progressive Democratic circles of rhetoric that portrays terrorist attacks as predictable consequences of American or Israeli policy….
For these so-called “progressive” Democrats, terrorists need to be understood, not condemned. What is it that we Americans did that led Muslims belonging to Al Qaeda to attack on 9/11? And we must understand that the attacks on Israel from Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis are a justified response to the IDF’s “genocidal” attacks on Palestinians, even though it was the terrorists who struck first on October 7, 2023 with a campaign of rape, torture, mutilation, and mass murder. Israel had no choice but to fight back against those who would destroy the Jewish state and expel, or kill, all of its Jewish inhabitants.
The controversy comes as Israel becomes an increasingly significant dividing line within the Democratic Party. An April Pew Research Center survey found that 80 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents held an unfavorable view of Israel, up from 53 percent in 2022.
Israel has lost a lot of support among Democrats in Congress not because it has done something wrong, but because of a powerful propaganda campaign that the Israelis, alas, have been slow to respond to, and been insufficiently convincing and detailed in their defense of the state. Lies upon lies are spread about the IDF’s “genocide” and wearily, that one word is bandied about so much that many come to believe it to be true. Meanwhile, the Israelis have been slow on the uptake, have failed to put sufficient resources into responding to these lies and to make the case for Israel. The rich Arab states are spreading huge sums around the world by to disseminate lies about the Jewish state. Think only of the billions of dollars that Qatar spends to support the major media site Al Jazeera, that is now a broadcasting behemoth. The resources Israel spends on making its case have been inadequate for the enormous task at hand. A cadre of Israeli spokesmen and spokeswomen, each with a native command of English, ought to be trained for that task, made thoroughly conversant with every aspect of the jihad against Israel, and prepared to slay the antisemitic dragons now maligning their tiny embattled state at every forum.

English translation, Medaber? All I know is that this is a Hebrew quote–and a bit rude. Some reworking of “frm the river to the sea” (which itself is grossly rude…).
