He said that they do not seek to sow discord, but rather would do so through reason, logic, religion, and moral values.
Yassine said that Shiites will build America on the basis of moral civilization and Islam. He said that what Americans have is not considered civilization, but merely worldly life and technology. According to Yassine, Americans consider civilization to mean killing nations and plundering their resources, citing President Trump’s remarks about “wiping out a civilization.” Yassine said: “He wants to kill you. This is a sick mentality.”
In March 2026, Yassine spoke at the Islamic Education Center in Orlando, Florida, where he mocked President Trump, praised Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and congratulated Khamenei’s son Mojtaba Khamenei on his appointment to succeed his father.

Once one accepts that they are a religion, few will go past that – the part about them being a malevolent religion. Once something is accepted as a religion, too many people accept it as sacred. I remember in the 90s or 00s, when on the “John and Ken Show” in LA, they were discussing a prison inmate who invented a religion that required him to have chateaubriand daily. That prison provided it to him!
