The Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City “raised hundreds of millions since its 1995 inception – including a staggering $107 million to support family members of rescue workers killed or injured in the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks.”
Mamdani has now completely purged the fund’s corporate advisory board, removing prominent real estate leaders, banking and utility leaders, and is replacing them with those who ascribe to his hard-left, socialist agenda: “New Yorkers and advocates who organized and fought for bold and progressive action on picket lines, protests and public forums in their communities.”
Mamdani is aggressively reshaping New York City in line with his ideology as a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. His implicit support for Hamas is also troubling. He’s long received pushback from the New York City business community, as well as from state officials and opponents who rightly deem him to be dangerous to America’s ideals of individualism and the free market system.
Mamdani’s latest war on New York City business leaders will further corrode the economy and morale of the city. It will also spill over into all of America if it is not contained.
Here is what Mamdani and the Democratic Socialists of America represent:
Shannon Bream ran the DSA co-chair through her own platform like a pop quiz, and she showed her work. Abolish the Senate, true. Abolish ICE, absolutely. Then Bream asked about murderers and rapists if prisons disappear too. Grab some popcorn. pic.twitter.com/V6PybldO8e

“Socialist Mamdani launches new war on NYC business leaders — kicking them off mayor’s fund that backs city programs,” by Chris Nesi, New York Post, August 4, 2026:
Mayor Zohran Mamdani has axed the advisors of a major nonprofit that channels private sector donations to fund city initiatives in his latest hostile act toward New York business leaders.
Hizzoner thanked the dismissed advisory board members of the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City for their service in a letter obtained by Bloomberg News.
The fund also said in an email that its entire board would be disbanded – marking the first time in at least three mayoral administrations that all members were let go.
Among those who received their walking papers from the mayor include Richard Born of BD Hotels, Jeffrey Gural, chairman of GFP Real Estate; Alex Katz, senior managing director at Blackstone Inc.; Edward Skyler, Citigroup Inc.’s head of enterprise services and public affairs; and James Whelan, president of the Real Estate Board of New York.
The mayor’s office told Bloomberg it would be replacing the released board members later this year.
“The creation of a new advisory board is an important next step in reimagining how philanthropy can augment, but not replace, public dollars and public goods, and we are eager to share more about our new board of advisors later this year,” Mamdani senior advisor Dora Pekec said in a statement to The Post.
The fund, which had $16.4 million cash on hand according to its 2025 tax filing, championed fundraising efforts in part by leveraging relationships with New York’s business community to raise millions of dollars each year….

Anyone of the Jewish faith – whether strictly ‘observant’ or secular or of whatever denomination they prefer – who voted and/or supported Mamdani is getting what they voted for. To me, it’s like digging your grave so that you can simply be pushed in – alive or dead.
Any person of the Jewish faith or anyone who favors religious freedom and tolerance who votes for the Michigan Mamdani in November is doing the same.
carpediadem says
Mamdani got in due to Pakistani and Bangladeshi votes – and that fact that NONJEWISH NYers didn’t bother voting at all.
Wellington says
Mamdani not only hates capitalism. He hates America, and this would include its Judeo-Christian legacy.

All true, Wellington. This is anti-business–and also against helping the victims of 9/11. I hope he is banned from the 25th anniversary 9/11 commemoration–last year he just whined and lied about supposed “Islamophobia”–and said *nothing* against 9/11 itself.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Yeah, I hope that the attempts to exclude him from the 9/11 observances this year are successful. W/ luck, I hope that his DSA and islamic supporters urge him not to participate: he’s more likely to listen to them than to the 9/11 families

Moron Zamboni SHOULD go to the 9/11 remembrances, representing the muslim community, without whom there would be no 9/11 remembrance. It’s important to remember the contributions to that day directly connected to the Supreme RoP ™.

Absolutely, he is a traitor in a suit.

Not losing any sleep over this. This is what the people of NYC wanted and every day they get more of what they thought they wanted and soon NYC will be a typical ME refugee camp with crumbling infrastructure and out of control crime.

Less than half of New Yorkers voted for Mamdani–surely you know this?
Rick Gordon says
Much less than half – as less than half even voted at all. If Jews – or those who support Jews do not come out in November – Mandami will have another accomplice.

“Musk issues stark counter-threat after Mamdani team member declared him ‘valid military target’ according to report”
“The outlet published an article about the individual in question, Eric Hovagim. Townhall describes Hovagim as a campaign videographer currently living in Shanghai, China.
The Free Press noted that aside from his violent remark about Musk, he’s also called the United States the “Fourth Reich” and called OpenAI CEO Sam Altman “a human shield.”
On the comment about him as a “target,” Musk replied by saying, “If they come after me, I will come after them and finish the job.””

“ALBANY, NY – Attendees at this year’s 9/11 memorial service should turn their backs on Mayor Zohran Mamdani, GOP candidate for governor Bruce Blakeman said Wednesday, stopping short of calling on Hizzoner not to attend the ceremo7ny entirely.
Blakeman, who lost his nephew in the south tower on Sept. 11, 2001, revealed during a press conference in the state capital that he plans to turn away from the divisive lefty mayor, and said he thinks families of victims are right to call on Mamdani to stay home.”
