Hamas Found to Be Storing Weapons in Mosques

Wow, who saw this coming?

As everyone knows, Islam is a beautiful religion of peace, and mosques are peaceful houses of worship, akin to churches or synagogues, places of prayer, contemplation, worship, and the healing of the soul. Anyone who thinks otherwise, and especially anyone who gets the crazy idea that mosques might have something to do with jihad violence, is just a greasy Islamophobe — right? Well, as it turns out, Hamas is full of greasy Islamophobes.

Israel National News reported Tuesday “the IDF and Shin Bet on Monday struck and destroyed five Hamas weapon storage facilities and a Hamas launch site in several strikes across the Gaza Strip.” What’s that? You thought Hamas had already turned in all its weapons, as it was supposed to do under the terms of Trump’s grand plan for lasting peace in the Middle East?

Well, unfortunately, that hasn’t happened, and of course will not happen, because a Muslim who is waging jihad for the sake of Allah thinks he is obeying a command of the supreme being, the one and only creator of the universe. He isn’t going to give up pursuing that imperative because of a few setbacks on the battlefield. And he certainly isn’t going to sit down at a negotiating table and bargain away what he thinks is a command of the Almighty.

The most important detail about the weapons storage facilities, meanwhile, was that these guns, rockets, explosive devices, grenades, ammunition, and more were stored inside mosques, as well as “alongside humanitarian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.”

The IDF said: “This is another example of Hamas’ systematic exploitation of the civilian population and infrastructure, including mosques and humanitarian infrastructure, in violation of international law.” It also “stressed that before all the strikes, advance warnings were issued to the population in order to mitigate harm to civilians.”

It was necessary to emphasize that point because Hamas’ idea in storing all this military materiel in mosques was to be able to turn any Israeli strike against the facility into a victory. Hamas hides weaponry in mosques, Israel strikes the mosque, and then Hamas spokesmen tell the credulous and complicit international media, always eager to defame Israel, that the evil Zionists dared even to strike mosques. The media reports would not bother to note that the mosques were being used to store weapons, or would bury the fact in paragraph 47, phrased as an IDF “claim” that had not been independently verified.

And so in such a case, a loss of weaponry would turn out to be a net victory for Hamas, for billions more would flow into Gaza from the leftist nitwits in the UN, the EU, and, yes, the State Department, and even more weapons could be promptly obtained. But it is also important to note that storing weapons inside mosques is in keeping with the mission of mosques, which is to serve as a base for the Islamic conquest of the surrounding areas.

A captured internal document detailing the Muslim Brotherhood’s plan for the U.S. states that “Islamic centers” are to serve not just as places for prayer, but places that “prepare us and supply our battalions”:

Understanding the role and the nature of work of “The Islamic Center” in every city with what achieves the goal of the process of settlement:

The center we seek is the one which constitutes the “axis” of our Movement, the “perimeter” of the circle of our work, our “balance center”, the “base” for our rise and our “Dar al-Arqam” to educate us, prepare us and supply our battalions in addition to being the “niche” of our prayers.

This is in order for the Islamic center to turn – in action not in words – into a seed “for a small Islamic society” which is a reflection and a mirror to our central organizations. The center ought to turn into a “beehive” which produces sweet honey. Thus, the Islamic center would turn into a place for study, family, battalion, course, seminar, visit, sport, school, social club, women gathering, kindergarten for male and female youngsters, the office of the domestic political resolution, and the center for distributing our newspapers, magazines, books and our audio and visual tapes.

And so even in the United States, Muslim Brotherhood operatives long ago envisioned mosques being a place to “supply” Muslim “battalions.” Do you think they’re not using them in the same way in Gaza? As Old Joe Biden would say, Come on, man!
