French government shuts down Paris-area mosque for supporting terrorism, legitimizing jihad

Western countries support the freedom of religion, which is protected under Article 18 of the UN Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), but not when that religion’s belief system violates the constitutions and laws of the West. For example, wife-beating is permitted in Islam (Qur’an 4:34), but it is illegal in the West. What many still don’t realize is that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) adopted its own declaration of human rights in 1990, and still abides by it. It is called the Cairo Declaration of Human Rights (CHHR), and is based on Sharia. The OIC viewed the UNDHR as a Western document of “colonizers.”

In the West, Judeo-Christian societies support gender equality, religious freedoms, the freedom of speech and the like. Sharia supports Islamic expansionism using deceit (Sunan Abī Dāwūd 2637) and violence. Women are commanded to be completely covered (Quran 24:31); in some cultures they must cover everything except for their eyes — otherwise they could be abused (Quran 33:59). Blasphemy is punishable by death (and so there is no freedom of speech).

“Let those who sell the life of this world for the next fight in the way of Allah. Whoever fights in the way of Allah, whether he is killed or victorious, on him we will bestow a great reward.” Quran 4:74

“When your Lord inspired the angels, I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then strike the necks and strike their fingertips.” Quran 8:12

A man asks Muhammad “which of men is the best?” Muhammad replies that it is the man who is always ready for battle and flies into it “seeking death at places where it can be expected.” Sahih Muslim 20:4655

In the words of Muhammad: “I would love to be martyred in Allah’s Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred.” Sahih al-Bukhari 2797

“Indeed, Allah has bought from the believers their lives and their wealth, because the garden will be theirs, they will fight in the way of Allah and will kill and be killed. It is a promise that is binding on him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. Who fulfills his covenant better than Allah? Rejoice then in your bargain that you have made, for that is the supreme triumph.” Quran 9:111

The Paris area mosque was shut down for glorifying terrorism, legitimizing jihad, and inciting “violence, hatred, and discrimination”, but also for a lecture by an Imam about striking children 11 and older if they “failed to pray.” Since many forms of  these sermons are actually ‘tenets’ supported in Islam, they were thus being preached in “Chanteloup” mosque. In 2018,  “bullying” imam Abdul Rauf, who “assaulted many children” and left them “writhing in pain” was jailed in the UK.

It should be taken for granted that people in the West should respect Western laws, just as Islamic governments expect a non-Muslim Westerner who moves to their country (a rare occurrence) to respect their Sharia. There are serious consequences for breaching the Sharia. Only in the West are foreign and subversive interests allowed to exploit the freedoms that the state recognizes. A misapprehension of what the freedom of expression involves leads to the tolerance of Islamic hate preachers who incite violence and jihad, while politicians and leftists turn a blind eye in fear of the “Islamophobia” subterfuge. Those same Westerners should try publicizing accusations of Judeo-Christianophobia in Muslim countries and see how far they get.

It’s high time that every Western country root out all Islamic practices that violate Western laws, preach adherence to the Sharia, terrorize people, and subvert individual freedoms.

French authorities on July 27 ordered the closure of a mosque in the Paris region for six months, citing sermons and social media posts by its imams that officials say glorified terrorism, legitimized jihad, and incited violence, hatred, and discrimination.

The closure occurred in the context of growing political debates around the challenges posed by the expansion of Islam in the country.

The order targeted the “Chanteloup” mosque in Aulnay-sous-Bois, a suburb northeast of the capital in the Seine-Saint-Denis department. It was announced by the local prefecture, the regional arm of the French state administration.

The closure was ordered under a provision enacted in October 2017 that allows prefects to shut down places of worship where preaching is found to “incite violence or hatred, promote terrorism, or provoke acts of terrorism.”

The French news agency AFP reported that a video circulating on the social platform X earlier in the year showed an imam who had lectured at least once at the mosque urged Muslims to strike their children aged 11 and older if they failed to pray….
