Non-dhimmis really do not want to see someone washing his or her foot in a public sink. Another case of unreasonable accommodation and the advancing sharia:

“DFW Airport’s $300K Islamic Foot-Washing Plan Draws ‘Not The Right Country For You’ Rebuke,” Dallas Express, August 13, 2026:
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport plans to add Islamic ablution stations to men’s and women’s concourse restrooms in Terminal D through a $300,000 renovation that drew national criticism Thursday.
A project record registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on July 31 identifies the work as “DFW – Wudu – Ablution stations – Terminal D.”
The 170-square-foot renovation “consists of adding Ablution stations to existing concourse level restrooms in Terminal D,” with one station in an existing men’s restroom and one in an existing women’s restroom, the filing says.
Regulators list August 31 as the projected start date and December 31 as the estimated completion date. The filing’s status remained “Project Registered” Thursday.
Filing does not identify payer
TDLR classifies the project as “privately funded, on private land for private use.” The same filing identifies City of Dallas/DFW Airport as the owner and says the tenant is not providing the private funds. It does not identify who is supplying the $300,000.
DFW Airport is a public governmental entity jointly owned by Dallas and Fort Worth. The publicly available record does not identify City of Dallas general-fund money as the source and does not name the private payer….

Some people online have suggested using them as urinals or for washing pets or cleaning diapers or posting signs on them ‘for dogs only’.
I’d sign a petition to have them removed and fine those who wash their feet in the sinks.

They should be open to any and all for washing -not only feet but pets as well.

Uhh, where are the prayers exercised? What’s demanded next, build Ft Worth Muslim prayer rooms then a little booth for the Muezzin to call over the airport PA system?
Some homeless may want to bathe there and “Muslims only” would be discrimination, wouldn’t it?

Years ago, at one airport – I’m forgetting where – I saw a muslim in a restroom stall putting his foot in the sink & washing it. It was pretty disgusting
If muslims can’t complete an entire trip w/o breaking their rituals, maybe they shouldn’t travel. At least not in non-muslim countries

Governor Abbott has ordered a review of all state grants to (DFW) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) for possible revocation while stating, “Both airports are government-owned facilities. The federal and state constitutions prohibit government from facilitating this sort of discrimination. Just as the government cannot favor the secular over the sacred, it also cannot favor one religious view over all others,”
And just like that they cancelled their plan.
Westman says
Yes, it’s cancelled.
Governor Abbot: “Government-owned airports cannot favor one religion over all others,” Abbott wrote on X Friday. “DFW plans to install Islamic wudu washing facilities are illegal. I’ve directed a review of all state grants to both airports for possible revocation, and referred DFW & IAH to USDOT for investigation.”
“Texas will not allow illegal religious discrimination at taxpayer-funded facilities.”
Apparently the announcement by DFW that the project was “privately funded” was false, it would have been effectively DFW funded at the request of Muslim interests. It seems there is no Islam without a liberal helping of taqiyya.

I think Dallas should be required to but in a Catholic Cathedral so I can pray and receive the Body and Blood of our lord Jesus Christ before I board my flight. It’s only fair to provide for all religions if you’re doing it for one.

Yet another example of Cultural Jihad. The unceasing attempts. to impose Islam on the culture at large. Constantly push for “accommodation”. Even if you fail, keep pushing.
If I have to choose between dedicated foot washing stations in a tax payer funded, public facility, or Muslims washing their feet in the hand sink, I’ll take the later.
I’m not concerned about the cleanliness of passengers washing their feet, per se, as passengers traveling with babies use the provided sinks for baby care, which is much less hygienic. I can remember when that uproar was being discussed.
I never think I’m in a hygienic environment in any public rest room. Or any airport or jet for that matter.
It’s the “if you don’t give us foot sinks, then we will use the hand sinks” extortion that I object to.
Let them be mush more uncomfortable trying to wash their feet in a sink at counter height than being accommodated in a public, taxpayer supported, facility.
Sometimes you don’t get a perfect outcome. But better them be uncomfortable than accommodated.

they could put up signs….”if you wish to wash your feet, do so in the *throne.* Then flush”
