The Israelis have just released a document that Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas leader in Gaza and the mastermind of the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, wrote. It reveals that his fanaticism extended even to accepting the destruction of the “Palestinians” in Gaza by Israel’s nuclear weapons if, at the same, the Jewish state could be destroyed. More on Sinwar’s diabolical fanaticism, the depths of which the Israelis have come to understand only now, can be found here: “Hamas’s Yahya Sinwar welcomed apocalyptic nuclear war if it meant destroying Israel – analysis,” by Herb Keinon, Jerusalem Post, July 13, 2026:
The document released on Monday, which showed that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar believed Israel might use nuclear weapons in response to an October 7 massacre-style invasion, is nothing short of astounding.
Why? Because it reveals both Sinwar’s irrationality and Israel’s abject failure to properly understand the fanaticism driving Hamas’s leadership.
The concept of Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD), which dominated the Cold War, was based on one simple assumption: that both the United States and the Soviet Union were rational actors. If each knew the other possessed the means to destroy it, neither would dare strike first – because who, in their right mind, would invite destruction upon themselves?
Who? Actors motivated by an apocalyptic, messianic ideology for whom your destruction is more valuable than their own survival.
Evil, according to one definition, is someone who believes that his salvation can only come from your destruction. Sinwar took that one step further: Israel’s destruction was so important that he was willing to risk his own demise to bring it about.
Yahya Sinwar was prepared to sacrifice not just himself, and his brother Mohammad (whom the IDF also killed), but all the people of Gaza, in a nuclear attack by Israel, as long as Israel itself was annihilated. He was, by Western lights, an unfathomable madman. And Israelis, being rational Western men, did not comprehend the depths of his self-immolating lunacy. Now, thanks to this document, they do.
The Amit Terrorism and Intelligence Research Institute released a handwritten document by Sinwar that fell into Israel’s hands during the Israel-Hamas War in Gaza. Dated August 24, 2022 – some 13 months before October 7 – it revealed that Sinwar anticipated Israel would mount a blistering response to an invasion, and he did not rule out the possibility that it would even use nuclear weapons against Gaza.
“The enemy will not hesitate to use all the means and weapons at its disposal, not only through attack but also by other means,” Sinwar wrote. “It may even use a nuclear bomb. But first, it will be surprised by the attack and descend into chaos.”…
His hope was that Hezbollah would immediately enter the war while Israel was reeling in chaos; that Iran would rain ballistic missiles down on the country; that the Houthis would attack from Yemen; that the West Bank would erupt; and that Arab Israelis would again rise up, as some did during Operation Guardian of the Walls in 2021.in 2021.
He was right about Hezbollah, that began attacking Israel on October 8, 2023. But there was no Hezbollah invasion of Israel, as it was immediately pushed back from the Israeli border and has been on the defensive ever since. Iran did not start launching ballistic missiles at Israel until April 13, 2024. And Sinwar had no conception of how successful Israel’s multilayered missile defense system would work — the Arrow 2 and 3, the David’s Sling, the Iron Dome and laser-based Iron Beam missiles directed at differing types of threat. Almost all of Iran’s missiles and drones were either intercepted or fell harmlessly in open fields. It was the same result for the missiles fired by the Houthis from Yemen — they were either intercepted or fell harmlessly into the Red Sea or into open fields in Israel. Since October 7, 2023, Houthi missiles have killed a grand total of one Israeli. As for that mass “uprising” in Judea and Samaria that Sinwar predicted would erupt, it never happened. There have been sporadic terrorist attacks from that area, mostly ending in the deaths of the terrorists before they could harm Israelis. As for Israeli Arabs, ever since October 7, 2023, they have carried out a grand total of 14 significant terror attacks within Israel’s pre-1967 borders, including five stabbings committed by Bedouins from the Negev. In addition, the Shin Bet neutralized 20 terror cells involving Israeli Arab citizens, and thwarted numerous planned vehicle and explosive plots. Yahya Sinwar’s hopes of a massive war that all of the Arabs on its borders and within the country, too, would make on Israel never materialized.
It’s the entire West, not just Israel, that needs to understand the fanatical faith of such people as Yahya Sinwar. Let his war plans be circulated in the chanceries of the West. Let us stop thinking that such people are rational, Western men. We must realize that if the people now in power in Iran were ever to possess nuclear weapons, they would use them, not just against the Great and the Little Satan, and their Arab neighbors, but against all those Infidels whose very existence so enrages them.

Like goons who put their dogs in fights, not caring if their dog is severely injured and dies as long as the other dogs also die.
Worms were probably reluctant to dispose of this son of the demons; had to be paid extra for turning his filthy corpse into dirt.
There was no reward for this scum. No paradise for this muzzlim.

This article shows that the ideology of Islam can drive Muslims to total insanity and total fanaticism. No wonder there is so much death and destruction in Islam. Also a similar insanity and fanaticism exists among the Shia Islamic leadership of Iran. This is why Iran must never have nuclear weapons. Based on the Twelver Shia Islamic teachings a Shia Islamic leadership would use nuclear bombs to start a war that they believe would bring about the coming of the 12th Imam. Also known as the Mahdi, the Islamic Messiah.

According to their beliefs he did go to paradise. Bringing down the infidel is more important than sacrificing their own people because the ummah will be enhanced. The individual has no worth in Islam. That is why the use of human shields is not frowned upon.
We are gravely mistaken to believe they share any of our values. Vance and company are delusional to think they want to grow business and rebuild for their people. Every dollar, every bit of metal and concrete will be used for the next rearming.

Hamas is “merely” one more Islamic terrorist group only too ready to have itself obliterated if only it can obliterate Israel (and others). But Iran is the only nation on the planet that would be ready to do the same thing—idiotic martyrdom and all that.
And this is why in part, clearly, that Iran over the past half century has been the single worst nation on the planet. What other nation, bad as it might be, and there are many, would be willing to have itself exterminated if only it could exterminate others? Only Iran that I know of—welcoming the 12th Imam in yet another religion’s end of the world times stuff and all that malicious and silly rubbish.
Also, Iran is the single greatest sponsor of state terrorism, easily so, throughout the world. This is one more reason why Iran sucks above all other nations. To claim a nation like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Russia, China, Bangladesh, North Korea, Pakistan, et al. is the worst nation on earth in our time is simply something I would argue is well off the mark. Yeah, these nations suck but they’re not number one in sponsoring terrorism nor are any of these nations ready to be no more if only their foes are terminated.
Which takes me to the Persian people. I will put it this way, what the eff is wrong with you to have allowed this for going on 50 years? Frankly, I know many of you detest the current Iranian regime but you still got it and your efforts to get rid of it have not been smart nor effective. I wish most of you well but you’ve got to do better than this. Meanwhile, your Persian heritage, which never really accomplished all that much—yeah a few positives here and there but so what?—means very little, perhaps nothing at all. So, quit being the greatest drag on the human race, bar none.

As far as old Ha-Ha Sin War is concerned, he got his wish. No virgins for him. He’ll, he can’t even use his hand as someone put some rounds through it.

Anyone here think that Iran’s IRGC would NOT use a nuclear weapon – if they could obtain one?

James, I do believe obtaining one is a top priority for them.

The mindset of Sinwar is more common than people might think. There are approximately 127 Muslims for every Jew in the world. Many Muslims would accept the death of an equal or greater number of Muslims in exchange for the death of all the Isreali Jews. Some Muslims would go further and aim for the extermination of the Jews worldwide. Where this sometimes breaks down is the issue of which Muslims to sacrifice.
But the main take-away is that the concept of proportionality, where Israel should kill no more than one Muslim for every Jew killed, will not deter the Muslims. Many Western leaders push proportionality, but it is a prescription for continued warfare by the Muslims.

At the core of Islam is the adoration of Thanatos.
Incidentally, besides accounting for the suicide-murderers (get called a ‘martyr’ for getting yourself killed in the process of carrying out human sacrifice of non-Muslims), the adoration of Thanatos accounts for their ferociously anti-woman and anti-Jewish animus; and it also accounts for why they singled out beautiful young Jewish women, and pregnant Jewish women, for atrocious torture-murder (indeed, for human sacrifice) on 7th October 2023.
