Another jihadi has struck in Germany, and German authorities are on the job: they’re determined to stamp out “Islamophobia.”
Still, let’s look on the bright side. You’d expect by now that Abdul Ballout, the Muslim who plowed his vehicle into Berlin’s LGBTQ+ parade on Saturday, killing one person and injuring at least 16 others, would have been declared “mentally ill.” As part of that effort, it wouldn’t have been in the least surprising if we had heard that Ballout, growing up in Germany as the son of Lebanese Muslim migrants, had been subject to racist and “Islamophobic” harassment, to the degree that it became sadly inevitable that the poor dear would lash out against his tormenters.
Instead, German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt admitted almost immediately that this was an “Islamist terror attack.” “Islamism” is a Western construct that corresponds to nothing whatsoever in Islamic theology; it is simply an attempt on the part of Westerners who are jittery about being accused of “bigotry” and “Islamophobia” to distance Islam from the crimes done in its name and in accord with its teachings.
Nevertheless, Dobrindt’s admission that this attack had something, at least, to do with Islam was a positive sign. Could European authorities finally be waking up to the threat that they’ve ignored and denied for so very long? Maybe. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz declared: “We will not allow this poison of terrorism to spread further in our society,” and that was tough talk indeed, but what are the chances that he will actually do anything effective to stop the “poison of terrorism” from spreading further in German society? Considering the fact that Merz wouldn’t even dare name the ideology that motivates and fuels that terrorism, the chances of that are just a few degrees south of nil.
And so what will the Germans do instead? Why, fight “Islamophobia,” of course. The organizers of the Gay Pride event that the jihadi hit, Christopher Street Day (CSD), made that clear, saying: “We don’t want this act to be exploited for political purposes or for people to be placed under general suspicion. Such violence is an attempt to divide our society and incite people against each other. We, as Berlin CSD, will not allow this.”
To be sure, the organizers of Christopher Street Day are not German government officials, but there is no doubt whatsoever that the people who populate the Merz government overwhelmingly feel the same way. They’re not going to allow this act to be “exploited for political purposes,” because if it does become a political issue, they will come out the losers, and the Alternative für Deutschland, the party that opposes mass Muslim migration, will form Germany’s next government.
Nor will they allow “people to be placed under general suspicion.” This means that as always, anyone who dares to suggest publicly that Islam teaches warfare against unbelievers, as well as the death penalty for homosexuals, and that therefore incidents of this kind are to be expected and will not cease no matter how much money the German government pours into efforts to eradicate racism and “Islamophobia,” will only be himself dismissed as just another “Islamophobe.”
That was also clear when Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner said: “This is an attack on our free and cosmopolitan society.”
That’s right. That’s exactly what it was. And in response, you and your colleagues should officially recognize the fact that Islam is supremacist and intolerant, and threatens your free and cosmopolitan society. Instead, you will continue to pretend that what happened here is a twisting and hijacking of the true Islam, and that in response to it, you should redouble your efforts to fight “Islamophobia.” And so the destruction of Germany will continue. Like Britain, France, Sweden and others, its death will be by its own hand.
Some peculiar malady has overtaken Europe. This malady has led its leaders to welcome into the continent millions of people who hold to the ideology that tried for centuries to destroy it, even though many of them still hold to that ideology, and still want very much to destroy Europe. Meanwhile, anyone who sounds the alarm and calls for old Europe to be defended is dismissed, hounded, and persecuted as “racist” and “Islamophobic.”
And so one thing is certain: there will be many, many more Abdul Ballouts before Sharia is fully implemented all across Europe.

I should not have generalized in my previous comment. I realize that there are some (many?) Europeans (such as those who read JihadWatch) to whom what I wrote about Europeans does not apply. And I know that there are some Muslims to whom what I wrote about Muslims does not apply. However, Islam is, as we know, a supremacist, totalitarian, genocidal, oppressive religion, political ideology, and system of government.

I posted my first comment out of anger. Then, I posted my subsequent comments out of conscientiousness in order to correct imprecise, and what I thought might therein be wrongfully offensive, writing in my first comment.
I am aware that the current main enemies of Western civilization (and, therein, particularly of Israel and America), and of other free civilized societies, are:
– Islamic Jihad
– The U.S. Deep State (particularly the CIA)
– Leftists / Socialists / Communists
And I am aware that the main root of the Western collusion with, and enabling of, Islamic Jihad, is Western anti-Jewish bigotry.
And I am aware that the root of Western anti-Jewish bigotry is Christian anti-Jewish bigotry.
I have posted information about those things in previous comments that I have posted on previous posts on JihadWatch in an effort to foster skillful non-violent action in order to help prevent violent conflict.
And, part of my nature is aggresiveness, so I think that, if I were in a foxhole with you, I might feel compelled to violently fight against those who were violently attacking us. However, another part of my nature is compassion. And a tenet of the spiritual doctrine and discipline that I follow—Theravada Buddhism—is non-violence. And a state of mind that is developed by Theravada Buddhism is wisdom. So I hope that, if I would be in a foxhole with you, I would be a medic.

However, I make effort to keep in mind that every person is an individual and is responsible for only their own intentional actions, and eventually experiences the results of their own intentional actions.
And, regarding anti-Jewish bigotry, there are, especially at this time, many Americans—politically left-wing, and politically right-wing—who hold such bigotry, although, thankfully, not as large a percentage as the percentage of Europeans who hold such bigotry. And, as Francisco Gil-White, and others, have documented, the actual policies (not the prominent verbal statements) of the U.S. government toward Israel, and toward Islamic Jihad, have mostly been anti-Israel and pro-Islamic-Jihad. And Francisco Gil-White has expressed that those policies have been largely directed by the CIA, which he, and, earlier, Christopher Simpson, have documented was created with the importation of thousands of German Nazis into it, led by Reinhard Gehlen.
And, I realize, and as I think you have pointed out, the root of Western anti-Jewish bigotry is Christian anti-Jewish bigotry.

When Jews blame hatred against themselves on Christians and Christianity, it does not foster love for Jews among Christians.
The first Christians were Jews and other Jews persecuted the first Christians.. because they had become Christians.
Historically, many who professed to be Christian did things against the teachings of Christ. Some today follow that behavior and pattern. They are wrong, of course.
However, that does not make True Christians the heavy as they do not show such hatred.
Not all Jews are loveable….soros, schumer, sanders….to name a few. But Jesus never said to hate His brothers and He wept over the destruction that would come upon them and Jerusalem.
Again, blaming Christianity for hatred of the Jews, does not foster love among Christians for Israel and the Jews.

First off, Daniel, let me just say that the evidence supports the fact that Peter and the other apostles *believed* before Jesus died that He was the promised Messiah. Peter stated that fact *before* Jesus died.
Secondly, as I have written numerous times. True followers of Jesus do not have animosity toward the Jews. It was the doing of the Pharisees of the Sanhedrin court who/which condemned Jesus to death and the Romans carried out the murder.
People who understand this history and believe that Jesus is the Christ, will not harbor hatred of the Jews. Just as various ones want to separate muzzilims based on what they do regarding what they believe, it seems some understanding could be had by Jews who know that the hatred comes from *not* fully knowing Jesus and following Him.
Some posters here take such pleasure (it seems to me) in posting over and over that Christians hate the Jews.
Since the focus of this site is the evil of islime, why is it necessary to keep posting that Christians hate. Christians are being persecuted all over the world by the same people who have such hatred for the Jews.
I am not *offended*, but it does get a bit tiresome to see so many seeming to focus more on those who claim Christianity but have animosity toward the Jews, than focusing on the fact that Christians and Jews are both the subjects of hatred from muzzlims.
People like candace owens and tucker carlson should not be viewed as representing Christ Jesus.
I have known many Christians in my lifetime, but none have ever expressed to me that they hate the Jews.

I understand your point of view.
I realize that the Christians who hated and persecuted Jewish people throughout the past almost two thousand years were not following teachings of Jesus.
But that anti-Jewish attitude and behavior was led by the Christian Church, and was followed by most Christians. Although I realize that you therefore wouldn’t consider them true Christians.
It is just distressing to me to see anti-Jewish attitudes held nowadaysnby, and anti-Jewish actions done nowadays by, Westerners—those who do not call themselves Christian, and those who do call themselves Christian—who have been influenced by those ancient Christian hostile attitudes toward the Jewish people—attitudes which I realize are in opposition to teachings of Jesus, and which I realize you therefore wouldn’t call true Christian attitudes.
But I think the history of those anti-Jewish wrong attitudes should be made known and understood in order to dispel them.

Daniel, I believe it happens to be the case these days that more *westerners* are haters of Christians than they are inclined to hate the Jews because the “church” as you reference it, had animosity for the Jews.
Go to the Book of Genesis chapter 3. There you will find that God said there would be *enmity* between God’s people and satan’s people.
Enmity that will continue until God Himself makes it end by eliminating satan and his followers.
That is where it began. Not because some Christians have shown hatred for the Jews.
There are quite a few Christians who post on this site. I believe most of them are aware of the *past.*

I realize that Christians are hated by many non-Christian Western Leftists. It is my understanding that that is because of the history of self-profesed Christians persecuting non-Christians throughout the world, and especially because of such self-professed Christians persecuting non-Christian native people of the Americas. And I think it is also because of what many non-Christian Leftists perceive as being the morally restrictive nature of Christianity. However, I think that most Western Leftists hate Jewish people even more than they hate Christians, which I think is because of ancient Western revived anti-Jewish lies and currently ubiquitous anti-Israel lies that nowadays are made out as being news and facts.
And I think that there is still much hurt and bitterness among Jewish people about how Jewish people were treated by self-professed Christians for almost two thousand years. I myself have felt hurt and bitter about that. However, the teachings of the Buddha have relieved me of that hurt and bitterness.

I read the Bible for my spiritual needs. I don’t read other books which try to *explain* what the Bible says.
King Soloman wrote, “To the making of many books, there is no end. Much devotion to them is wearisome to the flesh.”
The bible tells the reason for the “hate.” The Bible says Perer said to Jesus, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” Before Jesus returned back to heaven.
You can blame Christians if you choose to. The Jews have always considered themselves better than others because the Bible says they were God’s “chosen people”
They were to set an example for the rest of mankind by obeying the Law given to Moses. They showed how impossible it is for imperfect humans to keep it.
That’s reason enough for the hatred. But, as I wrote, Genesis gives the *reason* and I need no other to understand the hatred.
Jesus was the One sent to teach us what we need to know. His nation, for the most part, rejected Him. That hurt Him.
He warned of the hatred and persecution coming for His followers. The same source for that hatred is the one God told of in Genesis.
