The US-backed Board of Peace is preparing to open its first Hamas-free humanitarian zone in the Gaza Strip within weeks, beginning with a pilot program in Tel Sultan near Rafah, according to a report in Israel Hayom.
The project is intended to create protected areas for civilians who are not armed and are not affiliated with Hamas, while shifting food and medical aid into zones administered outside the terror group’s control.
The plan is part of the implementation of Section 17 of President Donald Trump’s Gaza framework, which calls for temporary rehabilitation in parts of the Strip no longer controlled by Hamas.
Multinational forces overseen by the Board of Peace are expected to deploy near the new zones and operate from a facility built at Camp Amitai near Gaza, Israel Hayom reported. They are expected to carry nonlethal weapons to help maintain order, while the IDF remains positioned beyond the so-called yellow line and continues to hold territory inside Gaza.
The program’s immediate goal is to separate civilians from Hamas’s governing and military structures.
Food, medical care and other services would be provided inside the shelters, with caravans used instead of permanent reconstruction.
Officials familiar with the plan said no concrete would be brought in at this stage, reflecting concern that building materials could be diverted for military purposes.
The concept is designed to pressure Hamas from two directions: Israel would continue expanding security control over parts of Gaza, while the Board of Peace would draw civilians into areas beyond Hamas’s reach. Officials who have seen the plans hope the process will gradually deprive Hamas of population, territory and resources.
Board officials told Israel Hayom that Gazans who enter the new areas would not be blocked from leaving. The intention, they said, is for the zones “not to be a prison.”

Egypt is too close, and if Gazans get in there, there could be a return of the muslim brotherhood regime like there was briefly under Morsi, at which point, Israel would be confronting a heavily militarized Egypt, almost to the level of Turkey. Iran would look like a West Bank operation for them
Send them a few countries west – like Mauritania, where they still have slavery & could use the slaves. Or to Sudan, where either side of that civil war could employ them. Maybe Hamas could join one side and islamic jihad another

Actually, they do – you’ve forgotten NATO’s intervention in Libya, where the Arab League initially demanded that NATO intervene on the side of the rebels, and later, was outraged that there were civilian casualties once NATO joined. So the Western globalists aren’t always as sanguine when it’s muslims killing other muslims

The “Palestinians” are the junk yard dogs of the surrounding Islamic countries.
These rabid dogs of war are so hyped up on fervent Sacred Jihad, Victimhood, Sacred Revenge and Martyrdom that no other Islamic country wants them – because they were created for this Jihad against Israel. They are useful but impossible to control. Thus the term junk yard dogs.
You cannot think of “Palestinians” as being like the post war Germans and Japanese. Both of those countries had developed civilizations and institutions prior to going to war. Their mistaken ideas could be redirected back to being a developed nation. They had a foundation to return to and improve upon.
“Palestinians” are tribal Arabs, Egyptians etc.with one single Strategy and mandate – eliminate Israel.
While the surrounding countries can be seen to be “modern” and “reasonable” they will let the junk yard dogs of “Palestine” do what they currently cannot be seen doing.
The U.S. made attempts to bring a better reality to Islamic countries in the aftermath of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. How did that work out?
I could excuse the hubris of this current idea if we didn’t have such ample evidence that this proposed effort in “Palestine” appears to be a mini version of those massively failed attempts. What little that was improved in Iraq was not worth the price paid in American lives, limbs and treasure.
Who, pray tell, is to pay for, and most importantly staff, these proposed facilities to help “the victims of Hamas”? Who is to be set up as the target for all those hostage takings, IEDs, suicide bombers,
car bombers, knife attacks and beheadings?
Doesn’t his all sound eerily like the naive Israelis who had been helping their “Palestinian” neighbors prior to Oct 7th? How did the grateful, friendly “Palestinians” respond?

The Arab countries created this monster that is now a thorn in their side. Most want to modernize and reject jihadists. Don’t think we can say that of Qatar and perhaps the Saudis. They want western weapons and technology but cannot be trusted not to turn them on us.
