Finally, after much pushback against efforts to return fairness to women’s sports, which should not include male testosterone in the game, the Supreme Court has upheld bans on trans athletes in girls’ and women’s sports.
They’re men. Not “transgender girls”. Be honest, @espn. https://t.co/OUvxKm3L5V

Note how NBC claims that the Supreme court decision was “another blow to LGBTQ rights.” It certainly was not. The LGBTQ community has equal rights to those that every other citizen enjoys, in accordance with the Constitution, but no more. Justice Brett Kavanaugh duly noted this in his remarks.
An extreme trans-activist sub-group tried to invade women’s spaces and force American schools to pressure underage kids to embrace gender delusions and trample women’s rights. These extreme activists regarded any pushback as “anti-LGBTQ” rights. In a similar manner, some claim that valid criticism of Islamic texts for their sanctioning of severe human rights abuses is “Islamophobic.”

“Men and boys with gender dysphoria are not women or girls, even if they believe that they are. Sex is an immutable ‘biological’ characteristic…it is binary.”

“Supreme Court upholds bans on transgender athletes in girls’ and women’s sports,” by Lawrence Hurley, NBC News, June 30, 2026:
WASHINGTON — Delivering another major blow to LGBTQ rights, the Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld state laws that ban transgender athletes from participating in girls’ and women’s sports.
The court, largely divided 6-3, ruled against two transgender students, Becky Pepper-Jackson and Lindsay Hecox, who had challenged restrictive laws in West Virginia and Idaho, respectively.
The court in an opinion authored by Justice Brett Kavanaugh concluded that the laws do not violate either the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which requires that the law apply evenly to everyone, or Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which bars sex discrimination in education.
“The Constitution and Title IX do not require an overhaul of women’s and girls’ sports throughout America,” Kavanaugh wrote.
He expressed sympathy for transgender girls and women who desire to play sports, saying “their desire to compete warrants respect” and that they should not be “ostracized or vilified.”
Although the ruling directly concerns only West Virginia and Idaho, it is likely to affect 25 other states with similar bans….

I’m 100 percent in agreement with the author. The NBC view makes no sense. If an adult person makes the choice to physically change their gender, I am fine with that – but it gives the person no special rights – especially as regards physical competition with those of their birth (biological) gender.
Rob R says
It’s not a blow.
Every time someone invents a “new gender” and tries to trans a kid, that’s a blow to my own life
Being a “normal gay guy” as JD Vance called us. Every time a left-wing lunatic does something new, and waves a flag in people’s face, that makes them more angry and venomous towards anyone that’s different.

Given how Roberts & ACB ruled on the Birthright Citizenship case, I’m a tad surprised that this judgement ended up the way it did
tgusa says
Roberts & ACB believe that anyone in the world can come here and have a baby and that baby becomes a citizen no matter the parents intent. Roberts & ACB are a disgrace to US citizens and the Republic. They have turned US citizenship in to a big fat nothing. Both Roberts & ACB adopted children from foreign countries. Americans last, even at home. That’s who they are. I expected the ruling coming from the other three female freaks.

Allegations Over Chief Justice Roberts and His Wife’s Financial Ties
A recent set of claims alleges that Chief Justice John Roberts and his wife, Jane Roberts, accepted more than $20 million in commissions from law firms that appeared before the Supreme Court during his tenure..
Nature of the Allegations
The claims, first published in April 2026 by independent journalist Christopher Armitage are based on:
A 2022 whistleblower report stating Jane Roberts earned $10.3 million in commissions between 2007 and 2014 while working at Major, Lindsey & Africa as a recruiter.
Additional alleged commissions of $11.8 million between 2015 and 2022.
Accusations that Roberts mischaracterized his wife’s commission income as salary on 16 years of federal financial disclosure forms.
Allegations that he concealed her equity stake in her employer for three consecutive years.
Claims he failed to recuse from over 500 cases argued by firms that paid his household millions in commissions, and from at least three cases where he personally held stock in a party.
If it comes to it I am sure his fellow judges will rule on that ethically. Yep, just as soon as hell freezes over.

If Roberts’, ACB’s & Kavanaugh’s arguments were to be extended to devolving levels – to ordinary people:
⮞ If your Mrs was visiting my house & went into labor there, and gave birth, then that baby could, once s/he grows up, claim an inheritance to the property
OR
⮞ Once she gave birth there, I could then claim that baby as mine, simply b’cos it was born on my property. I wonder whether any childless couple in that predicament would ever have tried that: it would have been fascinating if they could do it, have a legal battle w/ the birth parents and take it all the way to SCOTUS. Aside from Roberts, Kavanaugh & ACB, I wonder whether any of the 3 (D) justices – Kagan, Sotomeyer or KBJ would agree w/ the birthplace owner?
I consider this a failure of the Federalist Society. Molly Hemingway and Kerry Severino should avoid showing their faces in public, much less commenting on the judgement

So many people are truly ignorant….or they know how to talk and behave as if they are.
There is no such thing as an alphabet *right.* Persons have rights,
And the rights are meant to be *equal*….and equal doesn’t mean more for the perverted and less for those who recognize the Laws of Creation….or as some say, “Laws of Nature.”
A woman with blue eyes has the exact same rights as a woman with brown eyes, even though there are more women with brown eyes.
Men with large muscles don’t have more rights than skinny old men whose muscles have withered.
Those arguing for males….whose muscles are larger and stronger…to play with girls, are making every attempt to take away the rights of girls to have an “equal” chance.
Sometimes, the Court people get it right..

Saved by the Supreme Court. I have been disappointed in the number of females that have stood up to the male freaks moving in on their places and spaces. I am tired of the males pretending to be females and one big reason is I dont have the stomach to look at them.

Ms. Gaines was raked over the coals by so many in the media and government; so it’s no wonder that more young girls didn’t speak up about how they felt when the boys came to run roughshod over them.
Fear of retaliation, and fear of being called names, being cornered and ostracized. Not enough numbers of people with a platform were speaking in support of those girls.,
It’s puke-worthy just allowing the mind to briefly go there.
tgusa says
At some point they have to put aside the fear of retaliation, fear of being called names, fear of being cornered and ostracized. One problem is feminists have done a good job getting men to stay silent through fear of retaliation, fear of being called names, fear of being cornered and ostracized. So men need to put aside the fear as well. It should be a team effort.

Yes, it should. And this court decision should help, perhaps a lot.
Wellington says
And the three dissenting justices are all females, including one who at her confirmation hearing declined to state what she thought a woman was (because, get this, she isn’t a biologist).
How ironic but not surprising that the three fools (yes, they are fools) who dissented in this case are all Leftist females and proving again that ideology can and will trump everything, even common sense, basic biology and self-interest.
We live in an absurd age where a man can marry a man, Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance, and a man claiming to be a woman must be accepted as such lest one be labeled a hater of the most egregious kind. I was born a century later than I should have been.
somehistory says
Wellington, some weeks ago, I read a headline that a woman’s **brother** supplied the baby for her so she could be a mom.
Society is so full of people who will spout nonsense about any issue or subject. The thing is, it’s so difficult to understand “why,” they are so willing to tell lies in support of nonsense.
Since the one female can’t define the word “woman,” it’s possible that the other two can’t either. Thus, they have no sense of loyalty , or even commonality, for the girls who can define it.
tgusa says
“at her confirmation hearing declined to state what she thought a woman was (because, get this, she isn’t a biologist)”
And yet they confirmed her.
Yeas (53): All 48 Democratic senators, plus the two Independents who caucus with Democrats, and three Republican senators — Susan Collins (R‑ME), Lisa Murkowski (R‑AK), and Mitt Romney (R‑UT)
Three Republican females crossed over to support her confirmation. It was that time of the month. I’m looking at my dog but I cannot say he is a dog because I am not a Veterinarian.

People on trial for committing crimes could try the same trick, slight of tongue, and see if they can go free.
She has proven several times, with her dissents, that her stupidity wasn’t just a lack of being a biologist.

As we used to say back in the day, she needs to stop by the gas station and let the air out of her head. Although that may not help.

Ketanji Brown Jackson should have recused herself from the trans debate, as she does not know what a woman is.
Unbelievable.
And yet patriots like US Constitutional scholar Sen. Ted Cruz would make an excellent US Supreme Court Justice.
Why does the US have to settle for a “no nothing” loon like Jackson?

“Why does the US have to settle for a “no nothing” loon like Jackson?”
Because it must be about identity first and foremost, not intelligence and competence. It must be one of each, regardless. It is very childish. We are no longer a serious nation. Even Trump bought in to the identity game in choosing ACB.

tgusa,
Tragically, you are correct.
