If these students are not rescued or ransomed, the boys will be forced to become slave laborers or forcibly converted to Islam and folded into the jihadi forces. The girls will be sold as sex slaves. All of this is in accord with Islamic law, which is why we see Muslim forces engaging in kidnapping and sex slavery in countries other than Nigeria. Yet in the West, no mainstream analyst dares discuss what is at the root of the problem here.

Two teachers were killed when Islamist terrorists struck a secondary school in a Christian-majority area of Borno State, north-eastern Nigeria, on June 29, abducting at least 45 students and two members of staff.
Eight people, including the school’s vice-principal, have been freed.
Thirty-six students (25 female and 11 male, between the ages of 15 and 19) and one staff member are still being held captive.
The armed assault on Government Day Secondary School in the town of Lassa, Askira-Uba Local Government Area (LGA), is believed to have been carried out by Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
The incident occurred as students were taking national exams….
Barnabas Aid sources confirmed that Lassa is a “historic Christian stronghold” within Muslim-majority Borno State.
Borno is the epicenter of jihadi violence in north-eastern Nigeria, with both ISWAP and Boko Haram responsible for the deaths of thousands, including Christian civilians, Muslim civilians, and security personnel….

Was there ever any update on the girls that were kidnapped in similar fashion years ago? I don’t even want to think how long it’s been. Did their poor families ever find out what happened to them? How do you even live with that?
