Migrants broke through the fences into Spain after overwhelming police.
Open borders policies work.
Spain’s radical leftist government, currently facing multiple corruption investigations, has set out to swamp the country with Muslim mass migration, winning the praise of the media and Pope Leo, and the migrants swarming to its shores. In the latest disaster, Spain’s Supreme Court ruled that Muslim migrants can’t be sent back home if they arrive by sea. And guess what they went and did?
A recent judicial ruling by Spain’s Supreme Court determined that foreign nationals attempting to enter Ceuta and Melilla by sea may not be returned to Morocco. Magistrates ruled that irregular arrivals can only be arrested if established border barriers – such as fences – are breached.
And the Muslim migrants came in vast numbers.
The mass arrival of irregular migrants on the shores of the Spanish enclave of Ceuta has reached a tipping point, with local authorities warning of a “state of collapse”.
Last week, 1,500 migrants arrived at the city’s shores. With a population of just 84,000, Ceuta’s reception services have been overwhelmed. Wednesday alone saw more than 800 people attempt to swim to Ceuta – a dangerous stretch of water of a few kilometres which has cost many of their lives.
In a radio interview with Onda Cero on Thursday, the city’s mayor Juan Jesús Vivas likened it to “one million people were entering Spain irregularly.”
Migrants broke through the fences into Spain’s North African enclave of Ceuta from Morocco on July 30 after overwhelming police at the city’s breakwater, Spain’s Guardia Civil police said.
Video footage showed some migrants swimming over from the Moroccan side using inflatable inner tubes and other flotation devices, and others breaking through a gate in the fence and running into the city.
The scene was reminiscent of the crossing that occurred in May 2021, when some 10,000 people from Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa entered the enclave in days.
Of course the radical open borders regime insists there’s no emergency.
The interior ministry told Euractiv it “is not possible” to declare a national state of emergency since Spanish law does not classify migration flows as a risk under the National Civil Protection System”.
It’s a national emergency, but a political opportunity. This is the plan.

Virtue-signaling Leftists partner with Islam’s Muslims against all Non-Muslims to gain more taxpayer money, more political power, and more governmental control. Islamization, like Cultural Marxism, deceives, propagandizes, and virtue-signals against the enemies of Allah, the Non-Muslims, using Islamic Law DBA Islam, discrimination, segregation, violence, and terrorism through our Western Institutions with Muslim MONEY and Muslim LIVES as taught in Islam’s Qur’an(Qur’an 2:191; 3:54; 4:89, 91; 7:99; 8:30; 9:5, 29, 111; 49:15, etc.). Furthermore, Muslim Islamization includes Muslim Criminal-Terrorist-Gang Organizations using Governments, Bureaucracies, Mosques, Muslim Homes, Muslim Schools, Halal Organizations, Islamic Centers, Sharia Courts, Muslim Non-Profits, etc. to fund, to educate, and to support Islam Law and Muslim Propaganda against all Non-Muslims(Qur’an 1:5; 3:51,1 01, 118; 5:48; 8:60, 45:18; etc.).
Islam’s Muslims are murderous, Totalitarian Terrorists of Allah operating as a Criminal-Terrorist-Gang Enterprise under Islamic Law to ultimately conquer the enemies of Allah, the Non-Muslims, with Islamic Law DBA Islam(Qur’an 8:60; 9:5, 29, 111; 49:15, etc.). Genocidal Allah in Qur’an 8:39 commands, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”

Apparently, I heard on the news that prime minister Sanchez is going to “evaluate the situation” at this stage.
How mighty impressive of this wuss, when you consider that he has opened the gates of hell himself.
The general public is Spain is getting screwed over !

The rest of Europe should isolate Spain completely now , as Spain is a danger to all other European countries . We , (most common people with survival instinct in other European countries ) don’t want more invaders . These invaders will come to the richest and most promising and still open ( can you believe it ? )countries in Europe , as for example the Netherlands , where I live . Spain , if you like them so much , YOU can keep them , but I don’t want to see this scum/freeloaders in my country . No more free movement of people in the Schengen countries for Spain .Schengen should be aborted concerning Spain . We should reinstall our land-border controls of people and goods . Yes , it would be expensive in time and money and human resources , but it would be less expensive than letting all these people in .

Actually, Ceuta itself is not on the Iberian peninsula, as is Spain, but rather, an exclaves on the Moroccan peninsula east of Tangier. Melilla similarly is on the Moroccan coast, even if it is a sovereign exclave of Madrid. Actually, Morocco claims both these places, and topologically, they are right. Although given that the people of those places are Spaniards and not Moroccans, they should remain under the jurisdiction of Madrid
But if Spain – whether it’s their government or their courts or other institutions – don’t have a problem w/ this islamic influx into their country, then not only should they hand over these 2 places to Rabat: Spain itself should bend over and become a part of Morocco, under the old Andalusian caliphate name. Maybe have the capital at Cordoba, or better yet, at either Cadiz or Tangier. They can have King Mohammed VI rule both sides of the Gibraltar Strait, and Moroccans can decide whether they want a prime minister like Pedro Sanchez

True. I could never understand why on earth Spain keeps clinging to these two exclaves in Africa. It never made any sense to me whatsoever.
As far as I remember from history, the Spanish Bourbons used to have a colony in Algeria (Spanish Oran), which they held for six decades.
Spanish conquest of Oran and Mers el-Kebir (1732)
until the Siege of Oran (1790–1792) by by the Regency of Algiers led by Mohammed el Kebir

Yes. In the 1960s, a recently-created Islamic country, Malaysia, made the very sensible decision to expel Singapore because it didn’t fit in with the rest of the country. That is one of the few times that any country, much less a Muslim country, has done such a thing. I have to wonder if they would do the same thing today, though.

Good point. I too wonder what compelling value do these places have to Spain that makes it worth hanging on? I understand why Britain holds on to Gibralter: creates a choke point across that Strait. I just don’t get what Spain gets in having such exclaves so close to home. I’d understand Equatorial Guinea or somewhere else, which would give Spain a gateway to West Africa that’s far from Spain, but these 2 hardly fit that bill
