As this was yet another written message, there is still no clear indication of Mojtaba Khamenei’s condition, or even if he is still alive.
Meanwhile, this is yet another indication of how the Iranians, or at least the supporters of Iran’s Islamic regime, view their conflict with the United States. They see it as a religious conflict, a jihad for Islam, which is the one aspect of it that State Department analysts, and virtually everyone else in the West, resolutely ignore.
“US-Iran War: Khamenei writes letter to Hezbollah,” Times of India, July 26, 2026:
Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said the Islamic Republic would continue supporting Hezbollah as a strategic policy and that “no path remains except jihad and resistance”…
Khamenei said perseverance on the path of resistance would bring “divine victory”…
He also said preserving Lebanon’s territorial integrity and securing a “complete and unconditional” end to Israeli attacks were the first conditions of a memorandum of understanding to end the war with the United States.

Yes. Jihad is holy war against all Non-Muslims to make Islam supreme using Muslim money and Muslim lives. Allah’s Muslims, children of the Serpent(Genesis 3:15), desire to make Islamic Law DBA Islam dominant using their man-made book of lies and deceit, the Qur’an, when Allah promises Paradise to Muslims if Muslims kill and are killed in war against Non-Muslims for Allah’s Cause to make Islam supreme(Qur’an 4:95; 9:5, 29, 111, etc.). Allah in Qur’an 9:111 says, “Surely Allah has purchased from the believers[Muslims] their souls and their money so that they may have the garden[Heavenly Paradise]. They engage in war for the sake of Allah, so they kill and are killed…”.

Muslims only have one club in their golf bag- Jihad.
They can’t convince sane or intelligent people. They can only threaten violence.

“…this is yet another indication of how the Iranians, or at least the supporters of Iran’s Islamic regime….”
Hmmm. I lean more to the first part of this statement by Robert Spencer because what is wrong in that pathetic country goes very deep and embraces a great many. There is this too: Perhaps most of those in Iran who really were the most resilient and determined against this hideous regime have already been killed. In any case, Iran remains for all intents and purposes the only country on Earth that is actually ready to see its own destruction if only it can destroy others. It’s a unique kind of sickness and a menace to the entire world. Something is very wrong about Iran.
James Lincoln says
Wellington says,
“…Iran remains for all intents and purposes the only country on Earth that is actually ready to see its own destruction if only it can destroy others.”
Exactly.
That is why the doctrine of “mutual assured destruction” MAD will not work with the Iranian supreme leader / IRGC if they ever build / acquire a nuclear weapon.
That concept requires rational leaders. They may be evil, but they need to be rational.
And the current “leaders” of Iran are not rational.

The latter part of his statement is what is true
I was watching my Iranian show yesterday to know what’s the latest from there. Armin & Ali showed some “Aligrams” – Telegram messages on the latter’s channel. They also showed some messages from pro-☫ channels where people – all regime supporters – were attacking each other, and some mocking the regime
There was also a debate b/w 2 Iranian MPs – both regime supporters (since only supporters can even run in those elections) – on official state TV IRBA. One of them, who supported the MOU b/w Ghalibaf and Vance, asked the other, somewhat crudely, whether the Strait of Hormuz was his parents’ property that he inherited. The other angrily retorted asking whether it was the property of Trump’s family. The point that the former was trying to make was that the Strait of Hormuz is an international waterway under international law, and that the islamic republic is in no position to control traffic there. After the broadcast, that same night, there were demonstrators at that station angrily denouncing the MP who was trying to talk sense, demanding his resignation
Problem for this regime is that 90% of Iranians by now want to see them gone, while the remaining 10%, which have swallowed their lies about US being the Great Satan, are not going to tolerate any compromises w/ Satan. After all, if you believed that any particular country, say “Palestine”, was Satan, would you tolerate them getting anything? That’s the corner that the regime has worked itself into, and the sooner they fall, the better for everybody, but most of all, for the Iranian people
Also, I still believe that 60% of Iranians or more are apostates from islam, so there is hope for that country once this regime falls

Maybe its time we started taking out the Iranian leadership.

Only if by “we”, you mean the Israelis. They are the ones who have regime change on the agenda, and endorse Pahlavi. Our policy – well I still haven’t figured out what our policy is

The last I read, there were 40 Hizbullah fighters trapped in a tunnel, w/ Israeli troops at their entrances. Maybe the Israelis can just block those tunnel entrances/exits, and let those 40 just suffocate – the same way as Nasrallah
Hopefully, there’s not much they can do. Not that it stops the Lebanese government from still quaking in their boots at the mention of Hizbullah. Which is why I maintain that Israel needs to do to South Lebanon what it did in 1982 to the Golan Heights – annex it. Over time, it’ll be recognized, and Israel could even resurrect Phoenicia in Tyre, which I believe was its capital
Walter Sieruk says
The use of the armed might is the way to defeat the murderous jihadists of Hezbollah. This is because the Muslim terrorists of Hezbollah will not reason to reason or logic. The only language that they are able to understand is the language of the strong of might of the power of the Israel Defense Force.
In other words, Hezbollah should be dealt with defeated and even destroyed by hitting it hard, hit it long and keep on hitting it with strong powerful forceful military strikes until it’s unable to raise up again with its ugly, vicious and deadly jihad Islamic head.
Therefore, the government authorities and officials of the State of Israel have a duty and responsibility to use sarong military force against Hezbollah to ensure the safety security and lives of the people who are citizens of that nation. It’s basic matter of self-defense.
As the fifth President of the United States, James Monroe, rightly and wisely, in a speech had declared, “The right to self-defense never ceases. It is among the most sacred, and alike necessary to nations and to individuals.”

If jihad means peace like they say, well then he must mean peace is the only way. So we should be happy right? The Muslims wouldn’t like to us about jihad meaning peace? Would they?

About Iran’s proxy terror entity, Hezbollah. The Israel Defense Force is pounding down hard on Hezbollah is doing the necessary practical logical thing to do. What’s more the Israel Defense Force needs to keep on attacking Hezbollah with stronger and stronger military power and might.
This needs to be done because the jihadists who make up Hezbollah will not and cannot respond to either reason or logic. Therefore the only language that the Muslim terrorists will and able to understand to the language of the powerful might of the Israeli military.
As Thomas Jefferson has ,so rightly and wisely , declared “With every barbarous people….force is law.”
In addition, there is much good solid valid sense in the wisdom of the statement apply to the Israel Defense Force pounding down with much military might of Hezbollah. The statement is “Half-measures in war is both folly and madness.”
