A Jordanian Muslim, Ahmad al-Saqar, met an American woman, Jamey Carney, at a pro-Palestinian rally in Ireland, where they both were living. He claims they later married; that might even be true. After all, marrying an American could ease his entry into the United States. Whatever the case, despite sharing his political views, she proved insufficiently submissive to him; he “beat her” for being “disobedient” (see Qur’an 4:34) about the head, and then suffocated her to death. He fled to Jordan, where he is now in custody, and will likely be extradited to Ireland. His family has now complained about the “negative” comments posted online about their son. THE MAIN PERSON of interest being sought by gardaí in relation to the murder of US woman Jamey Carney has been arrested in his native Jordan.
Ahmad Al-Saqar, who was romantically involved with Carney for a number of months before her violent death, was detained by Jordan’s Public Security Directorate.
Al-Saqar had been living in Ireland for a number of years having gone through the international protection system here.
He comes from a town in northern Jordan called Al Husn, within the Irbid region. It is understood that Al-Saqar took a flight to Turkey before travelling on to his home country immediately after the killing of Jamey Carney.
Al-Saqar had already left Ireland when the 43-year-old American’s body was discovered last Tuesday in the home she shared with her teenage daughter, on the Muckross Road in Killarney.
It is not yet clear what led to his detention as no Irish arrest warrant was issued. There is also no formal extradition arrangement between Ireland and Jordan.
He was detained in Jordan because it is clear he is the main, and indeed only suspect in Carney’s murder, and that, having fled from Ireland to Jordan, he remains a flight risk.
The Journal has learned that gardaí have contacted members of the suspect’s family in Jordan. Some of his relatives posted messages on social media yesterday, threatening to take legal action against people they accuse of defaming him and their family….
They further claim that people have been “insulting the dignity of the young man and the reputation of the Al-Suqour tribe throughout the country”.
How exactly could anyone “insult the dignity” of someone who just strangled his wife to death? He no longer has any dignity to insult. And how can his uxoricide be used to sully the reputation of his tribe?
The family then warn that they will pursue “legal action” against “defamation” or “racist incitement”, and say that a “legal team” has already been formed to this end.
The chutzpah. How do you “defame” a murderer such as al-Saqar? And what “racist incitement” was there? Islam is not a race; criticizing the faith is not “racist incitement.”
As-Saqar had been trying to shake down his wife for five thousand euros. She had obviously refused him, and he, in furious response, strangled her to death. Meanwhile, the U.S. Ambassador to Ireland, Edward Walsh, said that Carney was a “person of extraordinary compassion, generosity and humanity.”
I doubt that someone taking part in a pro-Palestine demonstration is someone of “extraordinary compassion, generosity, and humanity.” Instead, I think her diseased sympathy for the Palestinians, and her lack of compassion for the Jews of Israel who face enemies on all sides who are trying to destroy the Jewish state, paint a different picture. And her marriage to Ahmad Al-Saqar is one more example — there have been so many — of Muslim men who hope to profit from such a mésalliance inveigling Western women into marriage.
Note to Infidel women thinking of getting involved with a Muslim man: Don’t.

Western women who get involved with Moslem men seem to put themselves in line for Darwin awards .Nothing good can come from getting involved with a man whose belief system has the “honor killing clause ” in it for the most simple disagreements .A disagreement that in a normal non-Moslem marriages might lead to a good non-violent augment or worse a separation or divorce leads to the man according to sharia law legally murdering his wife because in many cases his fragile Moslem man pride is hurt . This is why Moslem men take relationships to the Moslem slave master set up the man the master the woman the slave ,property to do what he wants to do to her. A non -Moslem woman who enters this relation with any knowledge of Islamic ground rules in marriage is a fool of the highest order .
