The primary purpose of such claims is to identify, or solidify the identity, of the Iranian regime with Allah himself, and the Islamic religion. If you oppose the regime in Tehran, you oppose the creator of the universe. This is designed to intimidate the Iranian people into ceasing their resistance. The same intimidation is being attempted against the U.S., but here, it will fall largely (but not entirely) upon deaf ears.

[Which are condemned in the Bible, Second Kings 23:5] The crescent moon, which was the symbol of moon worship, is also the symbol of Islam.” In conclusion the Islamic god, Allah, is not the God of the Bible.
