No other regime takes such pleasure in the suffering and death of its foes. The “Palestinians” do, whether they’re in the government or out of it, but Iran’s Islamic regime is the only full member of the UN that behaves this way. And the UN is too busy devising new bogus condemnations of Israel to take any notice.
“‘So sweet I’ll read it twice’: Iran celebrates Lindsey Graham’s death,” by Lior Ben Ari, Ynet News, July 12, 2026:
Iranian state media and supporters of the regime celebrated Sunday the sudden death of U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, a close ally of President Donald Trump, one of Israel’s strongest supporters in Congress and a sworn enemy of the Islamic Republic.
On Iranian state television, a presenter reported Graham’s death with a broad smile and a visibly satisfied expression. Another host said on air: “This news is so sweet that I’m reading it twice.”
Graham, a Republican who represented South Carolina in the Senate for 23 years, died unexpectedly Saturday evening at the age of 71, apparently after suffering cardiac arrest. He had returned shortly before his death from a visit to Ukraine and had been scheduled to appear Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
Throughout his career, Graham was one of Washington’s most outspoken supporters of Israel. He viewed Israeli and American security as inseparable, defended Israel against international criticism over the war in Gaza and repeatedly urged tougher action against Iran.
Graham’s death was celebrated by Iranian outlets and social-media accounts aligned with the regime, which had long portrayed him as a leading advocate of military action against Tehran.
During demonstrations held last week as part of the funeral events for Iran’s slain leader Ali Khamenei, regime supporters carried signs bearing Graham’s image alongside those of Trump and other figures portrayed as future assassination targets. After Graham’s death, pro-regime users shared an updated graphic showing several people allegedly marked for revenge over the February attack on Iran. Graham’s face was the only one crossed out with a red X, suggesting that his removal had been completed. The image carried the words: “We will continue to update.”…

They may not be as direct, but there are people in the U.S. who are also delighting in the man’s death.
A ‘hit list’ out of iran, is no surprise.
Wellington says
Agreed, somehistory, and almost all of those in the USA doing so are either Muslims or Leftists or both (e.g., Mamdani—N.B., in his instance both).
Thus demonstrating again for all who can see clearly (unfortunately a declining number in America due to America’s educational system having been taken over by Leftists and one of the two major political parties losing both its collective mind and its collective guts—yeah, which is worse, the DSA taking over the Democratic Party or utterly feckless and cowardly people like Schumer and Jeffries allowing this?) that both Islam and Leftism are inimical to America continuing as America.
In any case, RIP Lyndsey Graham. And those celebrating his death are the enemy of all that is good and proper. Clearly.
somehistory says
Thank you, Wellington, for your reply.
At this stage, I’m wondering if he was *given* a “sudden illness” ? He just returned from Ukraine, was all smiles, etc.
Could someone have given him something?
I recall Justice Scalia and his “sudden” illness, leading to death.
And Mr. Spencer being poisoned while in another land to inform people about islam.
Guess wondering makes me a conspiracy theorist. But Truth is often strange.
James Lincoln says
somehistory,
To your point, I certainly hope that a full autopsy is performed – including chemical forensic analysis of all body fluids.
somehistory says
James, Thank you I hope so, too.
It is my understanding that an autopsy is proper protocol when the deceased has not been under recent doctor’s care.
And a *cause’* has not been announced; only speculation.
To me, it’s suspicious.
Wellington says
The Occam Razor approach, somehistory, is the best route to go. The man was 71 and preliminarily it looks like some kind of cardiovascular disease. Nothing extraordinary here but I’m sure it will produce another cottage industry of conspiracy theorists (oh yeah, conspiracy crap is a business, often times very lucrative).
After all, even more than 60 years after JFK’s assassination pathetically 50% or more of Americans continue to believe JFK was killed by some kind of conspiracy.
What nonsense; no he was not. He was killed by a lone loser, Lee Harvey Oswald (who also killed Officer JD Tippit that same day), and who was an expert shot, even above average for a Marine, but this has not stopped a bevy of people who have way too much time on their hands to concoct all kinds of looney theories—all of which have far more holes in them than the official Warren Report, which did have some “gaps” but then the vast majority of murder cases do as well, but this doesn’t add up to not knowing who did the killing. And I write this as the lawyer that I am.
Well, it seems we’re off to the races again and so conspiracy theories will be here, there and everywhere. Par for the course—and evidence again that most of what is stated as the truth is far from the truth. Yes, so often the truth is elusive but mendacity, ignorance and error get easy passes time and time again.
somehistory says
Yes, Wellington, the most obvious is most often the real thing.
I often watch documentaries and ‘true accounts” of crimes. Occasionally I also watch fiction mysteries. And nearly every time, (my daughter can attest), within the first few moments…of the True and the Fiction….I can tell *who* is/was the perp.
I have been wrong a few times,
Mr. Graham was likely headed for heart trouble. It’s just with all of the people wanting him dead, I have to wonder. the muzzlims of iran are taking credit for his death. I said as much a few days ago about Mr. Trump, if he died suddenly, they would claim they did it….so, I just have to wonder.
and it’s likely that the wondering will be answered with ‘natural causes.’
Until then, will wonder.
Westman says
A report has been released. The cause was a ruptured aorta, something that takes years to develop. His father also died of heart problems at 69. Looks like natural causes with an inherited disposition. “Allah” is still asleep after 1400 years of slumber.
somehistory says
Westman, thank you for reporting in. My son was a likely candidate for that, but he had surgery some years ago to treat it.
Unless a patient has an examination to view the heart, it escapes dx early enough to save the life.
I believe John Ritter had the same. A hard blow to the chest can cause a sudden rupture, but time can too.
Tony Alex says
‘Islam’ – a byword for every conceivable ill on earth. And with Mohammed/Muhammed/Muhammad again topping the UK’s boys’ names list, the situation can only get worse.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Precisely! Hopefully, Iran gets de-islamized soon, so that Iran can become a normal country like it was before 1979
Rick Gordon says
To me it’s inconceivable how any American can support the current Iranian regime, its IRGC, and its Islamic adherents. Their obvious end game is the ‘death’ of western civilization.
As with any politician I would not claim 100% agreement with Graham …. but, in my case, probably 80-90%. He worked for American in the world and domestically.
James Lincoln says
Yes, Rick Gordon.
All in all, Lindsey Graham was a patriot – and a very good man.
Very sad news today
࿗Infidel࿘ says
I know that it’s unseemly. However, every decent person in the world did celebrate the death of Ali Khamenei when it happened. Similarly, islamic regime supporters in Iran, as well as Hamas supporters, are entitled to feel happy if one of their enemies is no longer around. As for publishing lists of targeted foes, I do hope that the war resumes sooner rather than later and takes out what’s left of the regime
Hopefully, Lindsay Graham’s wish to see the islamic regime destroyed and replaced by a secular democratic one will be realized not too long after his passing
somehistory says
Infidel, I hope that I am a decent person, but I did not celebrate his death. But, I did not mourn and will not mourn the death of others like him.
There is a sense of justice when the evil are punished and reap what they have sown.

somehistory
I get you. But the day Khamenei was hunted down, I celebrated. Maybe not as much as Iranians or Israelis, but I sure was overjoyed. It wasn’t a passive “I didn’t mourn his death”
somehistory says
And I understand your feelings, Infidel. I wasn’t unhappy to hear it I just didn’t do some drinking to it, nor jump up and down.
I know you don’t go by what I do, but the Bible says not to be celebrating the death of someone wicked.
But, it’s good that he no longer controls the people of Iran.

I’m sure we can make peace with these nice people… sarc/off

Any and all on that Iranian list should pay close attention, I’ll guarantee Iran has operatives and followers in country who are willing to carry out those murders. Iran is still dangerous through Islam.

The regime must be targeted. By whomsoever will. USA, Israel, Gulf States.
