Since October 7, incidents of anti-Israel hatred, and open Jew-hatred, are bewildering. Not one critic has presented any ideas on what Israel could possibly do in the face of the strategy of jihadists hiding themselves and their deadly weapons caches, rocket launchers, and operational centers in populated areas of Gaza (Hamas) and Lebanon (Hizballah). Those same anti-Israel critics who advocate for “Palestine” also embrace the Palestinian “resistance” (from the River to the Sea). Do these people still not realize that the “resistance” has a long history of aiming to obliterate Israel, the goal that is written into the Palestinian Charter? It seems impossible that they wouldn’t know.
October 7 should have further shown the world what the Palestinian “resistance” was about when Hamas, the freely elected government of Gaza, savaged Israel. Instead, October 7 resulted in a surge of antisemitism globally, particularly among DEI activists. Note that the Rewild Festival rejected the IDF veteran because organizers said they were “fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for our community.” They felt that they were being “inclusive” by excluding an IDF veteran, whom they openly called a member of the “Israeli Occupation Forces.”
A safe, welcoming & inclusive space” shld be enjoyed by all attending a festival. That was denied to the 1,200 slaughtered, incl Kim Damti, by Hamas on Oct 7 at the Nova Music festival & those raped, sexually assaulted, the mutilated dead, the injured & abducted. The overt and hostile declarations from the Rewild Festival demonstrate anew how much antisemitism has become normalized in Ireland, as seen in many states which have embraced “Palestine” and the Palestinian “resistance.”
This policy of a fringe Irish music festival is pure racism.
Every Israeli is mandated to serve time in their armed forces – Jew, Christian, Muslim, or Druze (otherwise the country would have ceased to exist many, many years ago).

“Irish music festival bans IDF veteran from attending in name of ‘safe, welcoming, inclusive space,’” by James Glenn, Jerusalem Post, July 14, 2026:
The Rewild Festival, an Irish music festival, prevented an IDF veteran from attending, festival organizers confirmed on Saturday.
Organizers of the festival, which was held between July 10-12, said they “became aware that a former member of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) was hoping to attend the festival as a paying guest.”
IOF is a term often used by anti-Zionist and left-wing activists aiming to delegitimize the IDF.
“Rewild stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people and is committed to fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for our community,” the statement published on the festival’s social media read.

“In line with these values, current or former members of the IOF are not welcome at Rewild and will not be permitted to participate in the festival, and that was made clear. He [the IDF veteran] will NOT be in attendance,” the statement concluded.Israel activists condemn festival’s decision
Several activists and organizations denounced the Rewild Festival’s decision to prevent the IDF veteran from attending.
This included Alan Shatter, who served as the Irish defense and justice minister from 2011 to 2014, and was a member of the Irish parliament from 1981-2002 and from 2007-2016….

What can Israel possibly do, according to these critics? Hmmm… that’s a head-scratcher. Well, I’m thinking that these lovely people would be completely satisfied with Israel if the Jews would just lay down and die.
Truly not a single difference between the “keffiyah class” in Ireland, and the Nazis. Except that the Nazis had the “decency” to try to hide their eliminationist ideology.
Have I mentioned that I have nothing but loathing and contempt for Ireland?

That is not the point, that being what should the Israelis have done. The point is they are trying to weaken Israelis position, they want them to do nothing, and to open up more chances for the Irish allies such as Hamas Hezbollah Iran etc to have a chance to kill all the Israelis and take the country.
From the river to the sea means all Jews out and Arabs take over. Thats the goal of most peoples who ally with Palestine. So they want Israel to be weakened and lose a war, to be destroyed.
The Irish are almost all pro Palestine, as are most Europeans. From river to sea types. It’s all propaganda from one billion Muslims non stop, and a lot of bullying people into their position via the leftists.
Unfortunately, Israel has a very small number of people who would help their cause and their narrative in the west. Israel supporters are nowhere near in number or intensity as the pro Palestine pro Hamas pro terror pro barbarism.
I personally, am not a fan of Israel. I believe Israel should take what it pleases and kick as many Muslims out as possible. Period.

I know a lot of people, including many non-Irish, tend to go gooey and sentimental about the Irish but don’t count me here among them. You’d think by now virtually all of the Irish, oppressed often times as they were by the English (and yes, the English have been a great people but they were often terribly wrong in their treatment of the Irish) would empathize with other people unfairly dealt with—for instance Israelis and Jews in general.
And let’s not forget that during WWII Ireland remained officially neutral and when Adolf Hitler committed suicide, Eamon de Valera, the Prime Minister (Taoiseach) of Ireland at the time, was one of the few heads of state that sent official condolences. All of which reminds me of that old maxim that a people who are oppressed don’t just want to get rid of their oppression but in addition want to become some kind of new oppressor.
Man never learns. Some individuals do but man as a whole never does. Ireland is a case in point.

I’m w/ you on the first. I’ve never understood the St Patricks’ Day celebrations here. I’ve not noticed a St George’s Day, although I suspect that there are far more Americans of English descent than Irish. Nor a St Andrews day – although scratch that, maybe the fact that he’s honored in Russia as well might have done him in 😈
What I don’t get here – why would any self-respecting Jew want to go anywhere near that music festival? Had I been a Jew there, I’d have actively boycotted it, rather than try to gatecrash it, as I saw some Jews online suggest
I somehow have the same view of the Irish that you have of Iranians. A complete loser country, who other than being bright enough to liberalize their economy and steal the thunder from both the EU and Britain, has never really done much elsewhere

Shameful. This should be distributed to all Irish and Jewish communities in the US. At the same time as such hatred Ireland continues to send invitations for tourists to visit the green island.

Let’s not lose focus. It’s a bigger issue than just Ireland. It’s a spreading ideology which makes zero sense. It’s pressing into Europe very heavily and has resulted in many recognitions of Judea and Samaria as Palestine.
Unacceptable videos are all over social media of whites mocking Jews and denying service of all types, it’s all to appease Muslims.
“Maybe the Muslims will be nice to us if we do what the Muslims say”…… worked like never !
I don’t see it. I don’t get it. What do these Europeans see in these Muslims? What could it be? They are inbred criminals top to bottom.

When “Catholic” Eire cease is to exist, and they have turned all the churches in the country into mosques where the people can worship Satan, maybe then these “gobshite eejits” as my own Irish friends like to say, will have figured it out. Of course by then it will be far too late. And all those lovely Irish lasses with their red hair and bright blue eyes will be covered up in burkhas and hijabs. What a shameful alternative of events. With all that the Irish suffered in their history, the indignity of being manumitted under the boot of the Brits, they have stood by while two generations of their children have been educated by leftist pieces of shit. Never thought I would find myself saying this but fuck Ireland. You get the government you deserve. You get the policies you deserve. And you get the children that you had other people educate. Truly a sad state of affairs.

I do not believe this is correct. Many Jews are exempted and may do national service other than the IDF, Druze are mandated because their community leadership requires them. Christians and Muslims are permitted to join, but they are not mandated.

bewildering because you are in denial about the inherent Jew hatred taught by the Church.
