The Iranian Islamic regime will continue to breathe threats and murder against Trump, members of his administration, and some patriotic commentators, for as long as it continues to exist. It will never negotiate away its imperative to bring death to America and Israel. In pursuing the destruction of both, it believes it is acting upon non-negotiable divine imperatives. No one in Washington understands that or cares about its implications, and yet it is the key to the entire conflict.
The Iranian regime is also engaging in massive projection; it has an imperative from the Qur’an to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah” (8:60), and it is pretending that it has already done so. This may bring regime top dogs and their remaining supporters some satisfaction, but it doesn’t necessarily correspond to any reality.

There is hope for the Iranian people, most of who seem to have thrown off islam. There is hope for the Saudis, once MbS’ secularization of the country kicks in, which could take a generation. I don’t see any for the other countries I listed above: their people are fanatics who are pretty irredeemable

No. I have nothing for either Qatar or Saudi Arabia or any Muslim nation for that matter. I also have no respect for other nations like Russia, China, Cuba and North Korea which are all enemies of liberty and decency, but no nation on Earth has created more chaos, including messing up with the financial stability of the world (and including my own portfolio so this is up front and personal like respecting my detestation of Iran).
Moreover, the pure hate emanating from Iran since 1979 towards my own nation, America, repulses me (ditto where Israel is concerned). The “Great Satan” shit is evidence of a collective aberrancy of mind which establishes for me that Iran is the butt-hole nation of the world. No nation is more of a pain in the ass than Iran—and it wasn’t all that great before 1979 but since that year it has been for me, hands down, the single worst country on the planet.
I would close here by noting that every people have the government they deserve. Conclude accordingly respecting the worth of the Persians who have allowed such a miserable excuse for a polity to exist for almost half a century.
